Abstract

This study sought to find a depiction of innovation made by the principal and teachers at MIN 1 Lebong concerning the madrasah’s final exams academic year 2018/2019, amid the lack of media, by replacing the Computer-based madrasah’s final exams (UAMBK) to Android-based madrasah’s final exams (UAMBA). Thus, it called for an in-depth study to see its implementation. This study employed a qualitative approach. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques, and the data were subsequently analyzed using Miles, Haberman, and Saldana’ version of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. This study concluded that the implementation of Android-based final exams, or the so-called UAMBA, was considered quite effective and efficient because it had several advantages including saving more budgets, being able to minimize the delay of UAM test packages, minimizing the occurrence of cheating during exams, making it easier for students, and making the exam results capably known quickly because the manual implementation of national exams was costly, wherein it demanded budgets for printing national exam packages and distributing those national exam packages.

Abstract

This study aimed to depict parents’ perceptions of the Ministry of Education and Culture (MOEC) circular about learning from home during Covid-19 pandemic through a case study in Air Bening Village, Dusun III. This was a field study using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation for the sake of garnering the data concerning relevant matters. The results of this study demonstrated that parents' perceptions indicated that MOEC circular about learning at home during the Covid-19 pandemic period was felt to be not running effectively and efficiently. It was because in teaching and learning processes parents turned into a teacher who had to be able to master various learning materials. In the meantime, parents did not understand the materials and contents of their children’s assignments due to their low educational backgrounds. Parents complained about online learning implemented by schools because they lacked the mastery of the facilities available on Android, except only for communicating or accessing photos. Even, some were still unable to use Android properly. In addition, internet networks were inadequate, and students or children played more than learned so that during this pandemic students only learned when they had assignments from the teacher. The rest of their time was not used to rehearse the subject matters.

Abstract

Implementation of  Early Childhood Education faces many problems in the learning system. Just as the lack of creativity and progress of educators, as well as educational game devices that are less supportive, so the learning system does not encourage the ability of students to innovate and think higher. The research objectives are learning management, and implementation of STEAM content made from Loose Parts. The research used descriptive qualitative method. Research data sources include primary and secondary sources. The research instrument, data collection using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Then the data is analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results of this study that the management of STEAM content learning with Loose Parts : planning the form of learning for RPPS, RPPM, RPPH, preparing Loose Parts . Organizing teaching tasks, teachers allocate learning materials. Implementation starts from the introduction, core activities, closing activities. Assessment in the form of performance, observation, conversation. Implementation of early childhood learning with STEAM content made from Loose Parts : applying all stages of play by paying attention to playing strategies, cleaning, storing things, strategies to develop early childhood creativity. The activity plan is adapted to the needs of the child and takes into account the principles of PAUD learning

Abstract

The uniqueness of the number raka’at of dhuha prayers taught by the Prophet gave new interest to the author to see the relationship of the number of raka'ah of the dhuha prayer with Mathematics. The non-interactive qualitative approach of the Library Research type is a research method to explore mathematical interconnections and the number of rak'ahs of the dhuha prayer. There are four steps in this research, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data analysis. Descriptive analysis is used to present the results of the interconnection between mathematics and the number of rak'ahs of the dhuha prayer. In this study, expert validation was carried out to ensure the validity of the data and the results of the analysis. From the research, it was found that the number of rak'ahs for the dhuha prayer, when written in one line, will form the same pattern as the integer pattern. The general form of the pattern of the number of rak'ahs for the dhuha prayer that is formed Un = 2n.
