Abstract

This writing explains about encyclopedia book of Jakarta’s Means of transportation using augmented reality technique. This encyclopedia book consists of 7 (seven) sheets which each one discusses about the Jakarta’s means of transportation with a marker named QR-code. Each marker on each sheet shows a means of transportation model in 3D (dimension) along with the animation. This book is made by using library AR Toolkit software. Blender 2.64 application is used to make the 3D Jakarta means of transportation, meanwhile Adobe Photoshop CS4 is used to make the marker. The output of this application is 3D vehicle models with animation that can be seen when webcam is pointed to the marker. This application is made as a new learning and introduction media for the society especially kids to know more about means of transportation operated in Jakarta.

Abstract

Game applications are favored by many computer users. The population of Indonesia, especially common people do not like playing games in a foreign language. Yet such games can be a fun learning media for foreign languages , especially English. Hence, we developed a game application using the concept of the game Scrabble. The design of this application uses a waterfall methodology, with application design modeling with UML diagrams (Unified Modelling Language) including Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Statechart Diagram, Class Diagram and Sequence Diagram. In the implementation phase, Blue J software used to build the interface using the Java Development Kit (JDK) version jdk1.6.0_02 as the executor, as well as using the command prompt to call the results of execution. Tests on gaming applications are performed using the Black Box and White Box method. The product of this development is a single player game application, which uses two language options.Keywords: game applications, Scrabble, waterfall software engineering methodologies, UML (Unified Modeling Language), Java Programming.

Abstract

Based on the informal survey, learning algorithm time complexity in a theoretical manner can be rather difficult to understand. Therefore, this research proposed Complexitor, an educational tool for learning algorithm time complexity in a practical manner. Students could learn how to determine algorithm time complexity through the actual execution of algorithm implementation. They were only required to provide algorithm implementation (i.e. source code written on a particularprogramming language) and test cases to learn time complexity. After input was given, Complexitor generated execution sequence based on test cases and determine its time complexity through Pearson correlation. An algorithm time complexity with the highest correlation value toward execution sequence was assigned as its result. Based on the evaluation, it can be concluded this mechanism is quite effective for determining time complexity as long as the distribution of given input set is balanced.

Abstract

The breast is a female reproductive organ and during lactation will secrete milk. Breast care during pregnancy is an important part that must be considered in preparation for breastfeeding. But the majority of pregnant women do not do breast care because of lack of knowledge in breast care itself. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge of pregnant women about breast care to the attitude of breast care during pregnancy at Puskesmas XIII Koto Kampar. Descriptive quantitative research design. The population in this study were all pregnant women who came to XIII Koto Kampar totaling 98 people. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling. Tthe sample in this study were 21 respondents. The results of the study of 21 respondents, knowledge of pregnant women about breast care with good criteria as many as 15 people 71.4%, while the attitude of breast care with good criteria as many as 12 people 57.1%. From the results of the analysis using chi-square found that there is a significant relationship between the knowledge of pregnant women about breast care with breast care attitudes during pregnancy with the results of the chi-square test obtained value ρ <0.05 is 0.003. Suggestions from this study are expected for health workers to be able to provide information early and teach pregnant women about implementing breast care during pregnancy. Keywords: attitude; breast; knowledge ABSTRAK Payudara adalah organ reproduksi wanita dan pada masa laktasi akan mengeluarkan air susu. Perawatan payudara selama kehamilan merupakan bagian penting yang harus diperhatikan sebagai persiapan dalam pemberian air susu ibu. Tetapi sebagian besar ibu hamil tidak melakukan perawatan payudara karena kurangnya pengetahuan dalam perawatan payudara itu sendiri.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang perawatan payudara terhadap sikap perawatan payudara saat kehamilan di Puskesmas XIII Koto Kampar. Desain penelitian Deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu hamil yang datang ke XIII Koto Kampar berjumlah 98 orang.Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan Purposive sampling. Dimana sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 21 responden. Hasil penelitian dari 21 responden, pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang perawatan payudara dengan kriteria baik sebanyak 15 orang 71,4%, sedangkan sikap perawatan payudara dengan kriteria baik sebanyak 12 orang 57,1%. Dari hasil analisis dengan menggunakan chi-square didapatkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang perawatan payudara terhadap sikap perawatan payudara saat kehamilan dengan hasil uji chi-square diperoleh nilai ρ< 0,05 yaitu  0,003. Saran dari penelitian ini diharapkan bagi petugas kesehatan agar dapat memberikan informasi lebih dini dan mengajarkan pada ibu hamil tentang pelaksanaan perawatan payudara selama masa kehamilan.

Abstract

ABSTRACKThis study aims to determine how the influence of wages and incentives on performance at PT Perkebunan Milano. This study uses data collection methods by distributing questionnaires. The population and sample used in this study were 57 employees of PT Perkebunan Milano. Hypothesis testing in this study uses a validity test analysis tool, reliability test, the classic assumption test of multiple linear regression, (t test), (F test), and the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence The results of this study indicate that partially (t test) wages and a positive and significant effect on employee performance. with a t count of 2,422. Incentives have a positive and significant effect on performance with t count of 6.114. Simultaneously wages and incentives together have a positive and significant effect on performance, with an F count of 22,458. Through testing the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.454 or 45.4% which shows that the performance is explained by wages and the remaining incentives of 54.6% are explained by other variables not included in this study. Keywords: Wages, Incentives, Employee Performance

Abstract

Work discipline and work experience are very decisive in the work performance process which aims to improve employee performance in carrying out the duties assigned to each employee. In this study, the object taken was the food security counseling office (BP2KP) in South Labuhanbatu, the data sources included primary and secondary data with the independent variable work discipline (X1), work experience (X2) with the dependent variable work performance. The population in this study were 66 respondents. While the sample taken is all of the total population, namely 66 respondents. The data analysis technique is a technique multiple linear regression. T test, F test and Determination. The results of the analysis using the statistical tool SPSS Ver. 20.0 obtained the results of the equation Multiple linear regression research is Y = 0.096 + 0.169.X1 + 0.815.X2. Based on the results research shows that the results of the variable work discipline on job performance then obtained, r count> r table or 1.766> 1.684. so that Ho was rejected and Ha accepted So in conclusion, there is a positive and significant effect of work discipline on work performance.Thus, r count> r table or 7,810> 1.684, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so the conclusion is that there is a positive and significant effect of work experience on work performance. While simultaneously (simultaneously) the influence of work discipline and work experience (F count = 104.245> F table = 3.11). The influence of both is quite strong with a correlation value of R = 0.771, positive and significant because if there is an improvement in work discipline and work experience, it will automatically relate to work performance (R2 = 0.771). The effect of work discipline and work experience is 77.1%, while 22.9% is influenced by other factors outside of this research model.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) become the driving force for institutions to achieve goals with the work achieved. Efforts to develop this goal, the National Land Agency of Labuhanbatu Regency can implement working hour’s regulations, workload balance, incentives and motivation so that employee performance can be realized. This study aims to analyze the effect of working hours, workload, incentives and motivation on the performance of the employees of the National Land Agency Office of Labuhanbatu Regency. This type of research is quantitative with data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and questionnaires. The population in this study were 119 employees of the National Land Agency Office of Labuhanbatu Regency. The research sample was taken using the slovin formula, with a total of 92 people.The test results partially prove that the t arithmetic value is 2.020 > t table 1.6625, which means working hours (X1) have a positive effect on the employee performance variable (Y). Then the value of t arithmetic is 5.806 > t table 1.6625 explaining that workload (X2) has a positive effect on employee performance variable (Y). Furthermore, the results of the regression analysis with a t-count value of 2.090 > t-table 1.6625 proves that the incentive (X3) has a positive effect on the employee performance variable (Y). The results of the regression analysis of the t arithmetic value of 2.060 > t table 1.6625 explains that motivation (X4) has a positive effect on employee performance variables (Y). Simultaneous test analysis in this study shows that the value of Fcount is 23,803> Ftable 2.48 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. From these results,Working Hours (X1), Workload(X2), Incentives (X3) and Motivation (X4)positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y). The value of R Square from the analysis of the coefficient of determination of 0.523 means that work productivity can be explained by the variableWorking Hours (X1), Workload(X2), Incentives (X3) and Motivation (X4) by 52.3%, while the remaining 47.7% can be explained by other variables not examined in this study.
