Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the role of spirituality in teacher performance seen from the organizational commitment of Muhammadiyah Middle School teachers in Magelang Regency. This research is a quantitative study that is correlational, namely research that is asking the relationship between two or more variables. The population in this study were all Muhammadiyah Middle School teachers in Magelang Regency with 370 teachers, while the total sample in this study was 185 teachers. To conduct data analysis in this study, then: (1) analysis techniques with descriptive statistics; (2) technical analysis of multiple regression; and (3) path analysis techniques. Based on the results of research and discussions that have been conducted, the results of this study are (1) Spirituality has a very significant role in influencing teacher performance through organizational commitment, Muhammadiyah Middle School teachers in Magelang Regency; (2) Spirituality directly affect teacher performance, although not as much as if it is through organizational commitment variables; and (3) Teachers who have high spirituality will have good performance because they have high organizational commitment. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran spiritualitas dalam kinerja guru dilihat dari komitmen organisasi pada guru SMP Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Magelang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat korelasional, yaitu penelitian yang bersifat menanyakan hubungan antara dua atau lebih variabel. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMP Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Magelang yang berjumlah 370 guru, sedang jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 185 guru. Untuk melakukan analisis data pada penelitian ini, maka digunakan (1) teknik analisis dengan statistik deskriptif; (2) teknis analisis regresi ganda; dan (3) teknik analisis jalur (path analysis). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, maka hasil penelitian ini, yaitu (1) Spiritualitas mempunyai peran sangat signifikan dalam mempengaruhi kinerja guru melalui komitmen organisasi, guru SMP Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Magelang; (2) Spiritualitas secara langsung mempengaruhi kinerja guru meskipun tidak sebesar jika melalui variabel komitmen organisasi; dan (3) Guru yang memiliki spiritualitas yang tinggi akan memiliki kinerja yang bagus karena memiliki komitmen organisasi yang tinggi.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between minority Muslim families and those of non-Muslims in Banjarasri, Kalibawang, Kulon Progo Yogyakarta; and to find out the religious diversity motivation of the Muslim families. This study used descriptive qualitative method by applying a phenomenological approach. The data were garnered using observation and interview. This study revealed that the acculturation of arts, cultures, and social community made Muslim families and non-Muslim families live side by side. The religious motivation of Muslim minority for the sake of maintaining their faith rested upon both extrinsic and intrinsic motivations. Extrinsically, it could be seen from the strong influence of the mosque administrators, the power of various religious activities to enhance religious awareness, and the solid cohesiveness of the group to strengthen as well as protect religious motivation. Intrinsically, the religious motivation of Muslims in Banjarsari was basically the effect of self-awareness by reasons of their minor position, so that such motivation yielded strong inner capacity from each Muslim family to revive and get more deeply into Islam.

Abstract

AbstrakProses pelaksanaan pembelajaran sains di MI peranannya masih tersentral pada guru (teacher centered) yang menyebabkan peserta didik kurang tertarik terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Selain itu, kurangnya peningkatan kualitas guru dari segi kompetensi pedagogis. Fakta di lapangan memperlihatkan bahwa dalam mempelajari sains, siswa cenderung lebih menghafal konsep, teori, dan prinsip tanpa memaknai proses perolehannya. Untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut, perlu dilakukan upaya berupa perbaikan strategi pembelajaran dengan tujuan mempermudah pemahaman peserta didik dalam keterampilan proses dan karakteristik islami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang implikasi penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran sains kelas V ditinjau dari keterampilan proses dan dampaknya terhadap karakter islami peserta didik tahun akademik 2018/2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode tindakan (action research) dengan kegiatan siklus 1 dan 2 mencakup empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pelaksanaan pengumpulan data melalui teknik tes, angket, observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains siklus pertama tergolong cukup baik dengan presentase 69,79% dan pada siklus kedua dengan presentase 73,01% cukup baik dengan mengalami peningkatan 3,26%. Karakter islami peserta didik pada siklus 1 menunjukkan presentase 85,00% kategori baik dan pada siklus kedua menunjukkan 90,96% pada kategori baik dengan mengalami peningkatan 5,96%. Oleh karena itu, karakteristik islami peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sains dapat dibentuk dan meningkat dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) melalui keterampilan proses.AbstractThe implementation of the science learning process in MI focused on the teacher (teacher-center) which caused the students were uninterested to the material taught. In addition, the lack of teachers’ quality improvement in terms of pedagogical competence. The facts in the field showed that in studying science, students tended to memorize concepts, theories, and principles without interpreting the acquisition process. To solve these problems, the efforts need to be done such as improving the learning strategies in order to facilitate the students' understanding of process skills and Islamic characteristics. The purpose of this study was to describe the implications of applying Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class V base on learning process skill and the impact on the students’ Islamic character in the academic year 2018/2019. This study used qualitative approach with the action research where in the cycle 1 and 2 activities covered four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, reflecting. Implementation of data collection through tests, questionnaires, observations, field notes, and documentation. The research findings showed that the science process skills of the first cycle were quite good with 69.79% and in the second cycle was 73.01% which was quite good with an increase of 3.26%. The students’ Islamic characters in cycle 1 showed 85.00% in good category and in the second cycle showed 90.96% in the good category with an increase of 5.96%. Therefore, Islamic characteristics of students in science subjects can be built and improved by applying Problem Based Learning (PBL) models through process skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how principal leadership influences teacher performance through organizational commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in SMP Negeri (Junior High School) teachers in Magelang Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a population of all SMP Negeri teachers in Magelang regency. The sampling technique used is Probability Sampling with Simple Random Sampling, while the data collection technique used a questionnaire. Data analysis used: (1) descriptive statistics; (2) Multiple Regression; and (3) Path Analysis. The results showed that the principal's leadership significantly affected SMP Negeri's performance in Magelang Regency through organizational commitment and OCB. The better the principal's leadership, the better the teacher's account will be.

Abstract

This article discusses spirituality and religiosity. Spirituality and religiosity are two of the most basic aspects of mentality and human belief, which according to most people are the goal of human existence in the world. These two terms are widely understood by people as something that has the same meaning and understanding. But actually has a different meaning. Spirituality is an experience or desire to know God that is done personally by seeing things deeper, substantially and seeking real understanding. Whereas religiosity is the appreciation and experience of individuals towards the teachings of religion or the beliefs they hold. Therefore, in essence, religiosity is a pattern of values, beliefs, symbols, behavior and experience that is institutionalized, which is directed at spirituality. In this case religiosity is actually a means of achieving spirituality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of online distance learning in Islamic kindergartens in Gunungkidul Regency. With research at TK IT Tunas Mulia, TK II Waladun Sholihun, TK ABA Al Mujahidin. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The results showed that the online implementation used various applications, namely google meet, zoometing, whatshap video call. The learning of religious habituation carried out is reading the Qur'an or Iqro, depositing the memorization of juz ama and daily prayers. Making daily worship journals at home. The quality of online learning is determined by the participation of parents, the quality of the material provided by the school, and the preparation of the curriculum. Abstract

At this time all countries in all corners of the world are being hit by a major disaster caused by the Covid-19 virus. The Covid-19 virus has had an impact on the world of education, including Islamic religious education. In an emergency situation like this, Islamic religious education learning still has a very important role for students when facing the Covid-19 pandemic. Because in essence the purpose of learning Islamic religious education is to increase the faith, understanding, appreciation and practice of students about the religion of Islam so that they become Muslim human beings who believe and fear Allah SWT and have noble character in personal, social, national and state life. The purpose of this study was to identify the problems of learning Islamic religious education in online teaching and learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a field research method (Field Research) and uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and observations. While the data analysis in this study used qualitative data presented without calculating numbers. The respondent of this research is one of the homeroom teachers and students of class X at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakter anak, khususnya karakter mandiri pada anak usia dini melalui permainan Dakon Kreasi. Indikator karakter mandiri yang ditingkatkan yaitu memilih kegiatan main sendiri dan memiliki inisiatif untuk bermain dengan teman . Dakon Kreasi adalah permainan dakon tradisional yang telah dikreasikan dengan berbagai inovasi. Inovasi dari Dakon Kreasi ini meliputi konsep permainan, media, biaya dan pelaksanaan yang tersistem. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan tindakan. kelas melalui 3 siklus, dimana setiap siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan refleksi Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan guru. Penelitian menunjukkan karakter mandiri meningkat sangat baik. Saat awal siklus kemampuan peserta didik dalam karakter mandiri sebesar 15 %. Pada siklus pertama dilakukan karakter mandiri meningkat sebesar 30 % . Pada siklus kedua karakter mandiri anak meningkat menjadi untuk indikator memilih mainannya sendiri sebesar 70 % memiliki sikap inisiatif dalam berteman sebesar 65 % prosentase ini diperoleh dari selisih prosentase dengan pra siklus dan siklus ke 2/terakhir. Penelitian ini membuktikan, bahwa dengan menggunakan Permainan Dakon Kreasi karakter mandiri anak meningkat dengan signifikan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui permainan tradisional Dakon Kreasi dapat meningkatkan karakter mandiri anak usia dini.

Abstract

This evaluation research aims to determine; (i) an overview of the implementation of the novice teacher induction program at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ngadirejo; (ii) a description of the ability of novice teachers who have participated in PIGP in planning lessons, implementing lessons and assessing student learning outcomes in Temanggung Regency during the pandemic. This type of research is qualitative that leads to field research (field research). The research was conducted in a naturalistic manner, with the researcher as the main instrument. The research process was carried out by conducting direct field observations/observations, interviews with school principals, waka curriculum, Islamic religious education teachers and waka students who were used as purposive samples of the research object. And to strengthen the opinion, the literature analysis method (library research) is used, namely the study of various scientific sources such as scientific articles in the form of journals, books, and other literature in accordance with the studies discussed. The results showed that (i) The description of the novice teacher induction program at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ngadirejo in terms of planning and preparation for the novice teacher induction program was well implemented. (ii) An overview of the implementation of the novice teacher induction program at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ngadirejo which is well implemented n. (iii) The description of the implementation of the novice teacher induction program at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ngadirejo in terms of the ability of teachers who have participated in PIGP in adapting to the work climate and school culture, planning lessons, implementing learning and assessing student learning outcomes very well during the pandemic.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana mahasiswa mengetahui arti tentang kesehatan mental dan bagaimana menjaga agar mental mahasiswa bisa selalu sehat. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 76 mahasiswa dengan berbagai macam jurusan. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah membagikan kuisoner kepada responden. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara tidak terstruktur.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 76 mahasiswa saat ditanya sejauh mana mahasiswa mengetahui arti tentang kesehatan mental didapatkan hasil bahwa 17 mahasiswa (22,4%) menjawab bisa menyesuaikan diri, dapat menyelesaikan masalah dan mampu bangkit dari keterpurukan, 58 mahasiswa (76,3%) menjawab tidak gila, tidak masuk rumah sakit jiwa, dan tidak berbicara sendiri, sementara hanya 1 mahasiswa (1,3%) tidak tahu apa itu kesehatan mental. Sedangkan untuk pertanyaan bagaimana menjaga agar mental mahasiswa bisa selalu sehat, 62 mahasiswa (82%) menyatakan bahwa meningkatkan religiusitas merupakan salah satu cara untuk menjaga agar selalu sehat mental sementara sisanya berjumlah 14 mahasiswa (18%) menyatakan memperbanyak teman atau jaringan sosial dapat meningkatkan kesehatan mental.
