Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of problem solving skills of students in the 7-Step PBL material work and energy materials. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The number of samples used in this study were 62 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. There are three main findings in this study, the first amounted to 69.35% the average level of problem solving abilities of students is still at level 2 (moderate). Second, even after participating in learning using the 7-Step PBL method, the average problem solving ability of students has not yet reached level 4(high). Third, in indicator problem number 2 "relationship work and kinetic energy" there are no students who have problem-solving skills at level 4(high).

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran IPA di SDN 12 Entikong masih dominan terpusat pada guru, metode dan model pembelajaran kurang bervariasi. Pada pembelajaran IPA hanya diperoleh dari guru sehingga wawasan dan keatifan siswa kurang. Hal tersebut membuat siswa jenuh,, pasif, dan kurang aktif sehingga, pembelajaran tampak monoton. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPA. Melalui pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw diharapkan dapat melatih siswa agar terbiasa berdiskusi dan bertanggungjawab baik secara individu dalam membantu memahami materi pokok kepada teman sekelasnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen menggunakan pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw siswa kelas IVA SDN 12 Entikong dan kelas kontrol pembelajaran konvesional siswa kelas IVB SDN 12 Entikong. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh terhadap pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw. Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 3,063 dan nilai t-tabel sebesar 1,063. Selain itu diketahui perbedaan skor rata-rata 2,545. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 12 Entikong.

Abstract

The science learning process is still predominantly centered on the teacher, the methods and learning models are less varied. In teaching science concepts, it is only obtained from the teacher so that students' insight and activity are lacking. This makes the student bored, passive, and less active so that the learning seem monotonous. The aim of research to determine the effect of the jigsaw model of student learning activities in science lessons. The method used is the experimental method, namely the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group used jigsaw cooperative learning for grade IVA students at SDN 12 Entikong and control class for conventional learning for grade IVB students at SDN 12 Entikong. Based on the research results there is an influence on jigsaw cooperative learning. It is known that the value is 3.063 3,063 tcount > ttabel 1,063 and the average analysis is below 0,866 and the average is 4,225, so that the difference in the average score is 2,545. So it can be concluded that there is an influence on the application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model on the learning activities of fourth grade students of SDN 12 Entikong.

Abstract

Abstract: The research is grounded on the observation that students do not universally achieve the expected level of competency in these areas. Insufficient mastery of scientific concepts can be attributed to the challenges faced by students in comprehending and engaging with the instructional content provided by their teachers. Consequently, this leads to a decreased interest in learning among students. Thus, the objective of this study was to assess the level of student interest in learning about the topic of green plants in fifth-grade students at SDN 06 Pemodis. This study used a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, with 14 students as the research subjects. After doing the research, it can be seen: 1) The students' interest in science subject in green plants material in class V SDN 06 Pemodis, is already good. 2) Students' interest in following lessons in class on green plant material in class V SDN 06 Pemodis already. 3) Students' interest in doing exercises in the learning process in class in green plant material in class V SDN 06 Pemodis, is good. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that in general, the analysis of student interest in science subjects in green plants material in class V SDN 06 Pemodis has gone well. Keywords: Student learning interest, science subject, green plantsAbstrak: Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa tidak semua peserta didik mencapai penguasaan kompetensi sebagaimana yang diharapkan. Ketidakmampuan dalam memahami konsep-konsep ilmu pengetahuan ini disebabkan oleh kesulitan yang dihadapi peserta didik dalam merespon pembelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru mereka, yang berdampak pada rendahnya minat belajar siswa. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA, khususnya dalam materi tumbuhan hijau, di kelas V SDN 06 Pemodis.. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif pendekatan kualitatif, subjek penelitian berjumlah 14 orang siswa. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, dapat diketahui: 1) Tingkat minat belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran IPA, khususnya materi tumbuhan hijau, di kelas V SDN 06 Pemodis, menunjukkan perkembangan yang positif. 2) Minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran dalam materi tumbuhan hijau di kelas V SDN 06 Pemodis sudah mencapai tingkat yang memuaskan. 3) Tingkat minat siswa dalam mengerjakan latihan sebagai bagian dari proses belajar di kelas V SDN 06 Pemodis pada materi tumbuhan hijau sudah mencapai tingkat yang memuaskan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan secara umum analisis minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA dalam materi tumbuhan hijau di kelas V SDN 06 Pemodis sudah berjalan dengan baik.Kata-kata kunci: Minat belajar siswa, mata pelajaran IPA, tumbuhan hijau

Abstract

Skills and fluency of students or prospective teachers in using Microsoft Word application are highly demanded to ensure the successful completion of tasks. The issue at hand is that the majority of students lack sufficient proficiency in typing mathematical formulas into Microsoft Word documents. The purpose of this training and assistance activity is to help enhance the knowledge and share experiences with prospective teacher students regarding writing mathematical expressions in Microsoft Word. The method employed in this training activity involves the demonstration of materials and direct practice and exercises by the participants. Based on the results of the activity, out of the 12 participants, 10 were able to practice without direct assistance, while 2 still needed direct guidance and support. Consequently, it can be concluded that most of the prospective teacher students already understand how to write mathematical expressions in Microsoft Word but still need to practice to improve their fluency.
