ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan tradisional terhadap kemampuan gerak dasar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan Randomize Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Karangpawitan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga jumlahnya ada 60 orang. Instrument yang digunakan adalah tes motor ability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan permainan tradisional terhadap kemampuan gerak dasar siswa; 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan gerak dasar siswa; 3) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh permainan tradisional dengan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan gerak dasar siswa. Kata Kunci: Permainan Tradisional, Gerak Dasar ABSTRAC This study aims to determine the effect of traditional games on students' basic movement skills. The research method used was an experimental method with a randomize pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was all fourth grade students of SDN 4 Karangpawitan. The sample in this study was taken using cluster random sampling technique so that there were 60 people. The instrument used was the motor ability test. The results showed that, 1) There was a significant effect of traditional games on students' basic movement skills; 2) There is a significant effect of conventional learning on students' basic motor skills; 3) There are differences in the influence of traditional games and conventional learning on students' basic movement skills.
