Abstract

Soal USPBK yang disusun sendiri oleh guru mata pelajaran sejarah belum diketahui apakah sudah memenuhi standar atau belum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas soal USPBK SMAN 2 Kota Probolinggo mata pelajaran sejarah tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 pada tingkat kesukaran, validitas, reliabilitas, efektivitas pengecoh, dan daya pembeda soal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan mixed method (metode campuran), dengan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi, dan teknik analisis deskriptif. Peneliti menggunakan dua program komputer dalam menganalisis butir soal, yaitu SPSS dan ITEMAN MicroCAT Version 3.00. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa soal masuk dalam kategori baik pada beberapa kategori analisis, yaitu validitas soal, reliabilitas soal, dan daya pembeda soal. Sedangkan pada tingkat kesukaran dan efektivitas pengecoh perlu ada peninjauan kembali agar diperoleh soal dengan kategori baik pula.

Abstract

The digital age is inevitable. The rapid influence of the digitization process has led to a deterioration of character values in students. Students' characters can be built through historical learning based on the search for meaning in the text of historical novels by exploring the educational value of the characters in them. This research aims to describe the value of character education in Roro Mendut historical novel version Y.B. Mangunwijaya and its relevance as reflective material to overcome various challenges of the digital age. This research is qualitative with Ferdinand de Saussure semiological analysis as an analytical technique. The results of this study showed the existence of historical content and found five main educational character values set by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The historical content and educational characters values found to have relevance to the modern life of the digital age. Relevance can be pursued as a historical learning material that builds the character of students. To be utilized in history learning in the classroom, special learning methods are required.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sejarah merupakan sarana pendidikan karakter bagi siswa karena matapelajaran ini memiliki arti strategis dalam pembentukan watak dan peradaban bangsa yang bermartabat serta dalam pembentukan manusia Indonesia yang memiliki rasa kebangsaan dan cinta tanah air. Pendidikan karakter ini dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengintegrasikan materi sejarah lokal dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Kedekatan intelektual ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan kecintaan siswa terhadap sejarah sekaligus memudahkan penanaman karakter melalui role model yang tidak jauh dari kehidupan mereka. Dalam konteks artikel ini tokoh lokal yang dijadikan sebagai kajian adalah KH. Masjkur. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia since mid-March 2020 and caused changes to various fields. One of the areas affected is education. Learning activitiess that were originally done face-to-face or directly, are now turning into distance learning or online learning. In the study of history, especially local history, online learning experienced quite complex challenges.  This research aims to analyze the problems or challenges experienced by history teachers in East Java in developing life-based history learning designs. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. The subject of this study is a high school history teacher in East Java. Data collection techniques are carried out using observations, interviews and documentary studies. Data analysis is done by collecting data reduction data, presenting data and verifying the resulting data. As a result, there are obstacles faced by teachers and make learning designs such as doing learning planning, determining, material, choosing media, teaching materials to learning resources. The solution to the challenges faced is to make adjustments to existing conditions by making local history learning designs based online. The initial stage is to analyze basic competencies on the syllabus. The second stage is to determine the indicator of competency achievement (ICA). After the teacher has a ICA, it can determine the material, media, learning resources to learning strategies to create local history learning based on life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai penetrasi Jepang ke Hindia Belanda pada tahun 1930-1945. Jepang pada tahun 1930-an mulai mendominasi perekonomian Hindia Belanda terutama dalam hal ekspor kain. Selain itu pada tahun 1942, pendudukan Jepang menimbulkan krisis kain di Hindia Belanda. Penetrasi yang dilakukan secara ekonomi dan militer ini berdampak pada batik di Pekalongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah dengan pendekatan sejarah kebudayaan. Hal ini karena dalam artikel ini menyoroti morfologi budaya akibat penetrasi ekonomi dan militer Jepang. Perubahan ini terekam dalam batik Pekalongan periode 1930-1945. Pembahasan dalam artikel ini antara lain masa keemasan dan jatuhnya industri batik di Pekalongan pada 1929-1930, tren gaya batik di Pekalongan menjelang 1930, dan dampak penetrasi Jepang terhadap batik Pekalongan tahun 1930-1945. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penetrasi ekonomi dan militer Jepang terhadap Hindia Belanda memengaruhi batik di Pekalongan dari segi ketersediaan kain untuk industri batik dan perubahan tren batik serta tata warna khas Jepang akibat selera pasar.

Abstract

Some of the problems encountered by the author are as follows, (1) Lack of student independence in learning; (2) Utilization of technology and learning facilities is sometimes less precise than what students need; (3) Printed teaching materials must be purchased at school cooperatives; (4) At least reading about the character Sukarni Kartodiwirjo. This study aims to develop learning materials, test and determine the response of students' learning independence after operating the M-PROR. This research method uses the ADDIE model with the following stages: (1) needs analysis; (2) design and data collection; (3) product manufacture; (4) product validation and testing; (5) evaluation. The results of validation by media experts obtained a percentage of 90.95%, the results of validation by material experts were 94.47%, the results of validation by teachers were obtained by a percentage of 91.02%, the results of large trials obtained a percentage of 85.34%, and the student's learning independence response obtained a percentage of 83.47%. Based on the validation and trial data, the M-PROR teaching materials can be ascertained as follows: (1) research and product development can be completed properly according to the needs analysis; (2) overall the criteria are very feasible; (3) the level of student learning independence is obtained with very positive criteria. The M-PROR teaching materials were further developed by discussing other figures in the proclamation event in depth.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to trace the history of Islamic education that has existed since the colonial period. It is important to give an understanding for the present and future generation about the struggle of predecessors to fight for independence and to maintain unity within the framework of national life. In addition, research on national insights is expected to be a filter of the emergence of organizations, ideologies, and information causing a rift of national relations. This research was conducted in Malang, precisely in district Singosari that well known Kota Santri. The background as a center of the education of Islamic boarding school apparently does not restrict Kiai’s thought to formulate an modern education model. The data is collected with interactive techniques such as interviews and non-interactive techniques namely studies of documents or related archives. The results of this research include the historical description of Misbachul Watan, the foundation of the founding ideology of the school that is deduced from the biography of the founder, and the development and sustainability of Misbachul Watan with a new name that still shows His role in caring for an nationalism in an Islamic educational institution

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the socio-economic changes among South Malang’s residents due to the recognition of a new job opportunity, namely the role of migrant worker. The objective of this study is to describe the socio-economic changes in South Malang from a historical standpoint from the 1980s to 2015. In the 1980s, being a migrant worker as a job opportunity was popular, but in 2015, the number of migrant workers started to decrease drastically due to the changing of the economic direction. This study was conducted in eleven sub-districts in South Malang, which is known as the origin place of migrants, and where many of the residents have worked as migrant workers. The data used in this study was collected by interviewing and tracking the archives of the social economic development of the Malang District by way of various institutions. The results of this study indicate that the South Malang residents chose to work as migrant workers based on three main factors. First, are the internal factors that consist of the economic and infrastructure limitations. The external factor consist of the Oil Boom and Asian Miracle’s impact. Second, are the unproductive and costly environmental conditions which forced the residents to move out and find better life prospects. Third, is the socio-cultural context, where the society has only known about monetisation since the colonial era. The combination of these factors motivates the rural community of South Malang to work as migrant workers and this changed the socio-economic landscape of the region from plantations and subsistence agriculture to having a capitalist focus in the period 1980 to 2015. The positive impacts brought about by the presence of migrant workers in South Malang include economic progress, socio-economic welfare, and area improvement. On the other hand, the negative impacts include the increasing number of divorce cases, the cases of child abandonment, and the increase in the number of juvenile delinquency cases.

Abstract

Abad 21 menghadirkan tantangan dan perubahan sangat cepat yang harus direspon oleh berbagai bidang kehidupan, salah satunya bidang pendidikan. Kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah tidak hanya berpusat pada kognitif dan afektif tapi juga psikomotor dalam arti sesungguhnya. Pembelajaran di sekolah harus relevan dengan perkembangan jaman agar siswa dapat menghadapi tantangan dan perubahan yang demikian cepat di abad 21. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pentingnya pengembangan model belajar sejarah berbasis lingkungan dan sejarah di wilayah Amstirdam dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Selama ini wilayah tersebut dikenal sebagai kantong tenaga kerja Indonesia dengan tingkat perceraian yang tinggi. Padahal wilayah ini memiliki potensi lingkungan dan sejarah yang layak untuk dioptimalkan dalam rangka peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dalam rangka mewujudkan hal tersebut harus dimulai dari langkah kecil dilingkungan sekolah agar siswa memiliki kepekaan dan kesadaran tentang potensi lingkungan mereka. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merekomendasikan sebuah model pembelajaran yang disebut sebagai eco-histourism.The 21st century presents pervasive challenges and changes that must be responded to by various aspects of human life, including education. Learning activities in schools are not only centered on cognitive and affective but also psychomotor in the real sense. Learning in schools must be relevant to the development of the era so that students can face challenges and changes that are so rapid in the 21st century. This study discusses the importance of developing an environment and historical history learning model in the Amstirdam region using a qualitative research approach. So far, the region is known as a source of Indonesian workers with high divorce rates. Even though this region has the potential of the environment and history that is feasible to be optimized in order to improve the welfare of the community. In order to realize this, it must be started from a small step in the school environment so that students have sensitivity and awareness about the potential of their environment. Therefore, researchers recommend a learning model called eco-histourism.
