<![CDATA[One of the networks of Bank Riau Kepri Siak Branch is Bank Riau Kepri Sabak Auh shop which is expected to be able to provide productive credit marketing and be able to become a market leader for similar credit products in terms of lower interest rates than other banks. Customers of Bank Riau Kepri Kedai Sabak Auh are retail customers and there is no collaboration with cooperatives or other institutions in terms of offering credit to their members. This is different from other office units in the Bank Riau Kepri Siak network which have cooperation with cooperatives or other institutions in providing productive credit to their members. This study aims to analyze the effect of the promotion mix on the decision to use credit. The effect of the promotion mix on customer satisfaction. The effect of the decision to use productive credit and to analyze the effect of the promotion mix on customer satisfaction through the decision to use credit. The population in this study were all productive credit customers (KUKM and KUM) at Bank Riau Kepri Kedai Sabak Auh in 2021 spread across the Sabak Auh sub-district as many as 161 people. While the sample used as many as 118 people. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data, while the data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is the data analysis used in this study is the Structural Equation Model. The results showed that the Promotional Mix had a positive and significant effect on the decision to use credit. Promotional mix has a positive and significant effect on visitor goals. The decision to use has an effect on customer satisfaction. And the promotion mix affects the customer's goals through the decision to use productive credit.]]>

<![CDATA[Perusahaan menghabiskan banyak sumber daya untuk mengadaptasi karyawan, terutama karyawan baru, dengan program kerja yang mereka miliki. Oleh karena itu, akan menjadi masalah jika karyawan yang terlatih keluar dari perusahaan. Masalah terkait retensi pegawai tidak hanya dapat terjadi di dalam perusahaan, tetapi juga dapat terjadi pada badan hukum publik seperti BPJS Kesehatan. Diketahui ada dua faktor yang dinilai berdampak pada retensi karyawan, yaitu manajemen talenta dan keterikatan karyawan. Berdasarkan informasi tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh talent management terhadap employee retention dengan employee engagement sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif yang dilakukan di Kantor Deputi BPJS Kesehatan Wilayah Sumbagteng Jambi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel employee engagement berhasil memediasi hubungan antara variabel talent management dengan variabel employee retention. Namun berdasarkan hasil uji Sobel dan uji Baron-Kenny, pengaruh yang diterima oleh variabel employee retention akan lebih baik jika diberikan langsung oleh variabel talent management tanpa melalui perantara variabel employee engagement. Oleh karena itu, kebijakan talent management yang diterapkan oleh BPJS Kesehatan akan lebih baik jika fokusnya langsung pada upaya agar pegawai tidak keluar dari BPJS Kesehatan.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is based on implementing the Hope Family Program (HFP) as an alternative policy in reducing poverty in Indonesia, including Seberang Taluk Hilir Village, Central Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study's problem formulations and objectives are: 1) how is the influence of HFP in overcoming poverty in Seberang Taluk Hilir Village, 2) the extent of the influence of the HFP program in overcoming poverty in Seberang Taluk Hilir Village. The population and samples of this study was 50 households who received direct assistance. This research is using Qualitative method with non-experimental.Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The results showed a very big influence with the HFP program for the survival of the beneficiary, a change in consumption patterns and the ability to meet their daily needs. The achievement of the HFP program objectives for household recipients of assistance, especially in terms of education and health are getting better. Strengthened by management and supervision by household facilitators so that beneficiary communities can manage cash assistance properly.There needs to be a government policy to improve service quality, especially the number of HFP facilitators who are still lacking, so that the role of the assistants is still not maximal in serving and supervising the implementation of the HFP program in the village of Seberang Taluk Hilir]]>

<![CDATA[The ability to publish articles in scientific journals is among the parts of a teacher's professional competence. The problem is that many teachers have not mastered the skills to write scientific papers. As a result, many teachers find it difficult to advance in rank, especially for promotion after IV / a. This paper describes a community service activity sponsored by Universitas Riau lecturers which aims to help teachers improve their scientific writing skills. Community service activities were carried out at a school in Pekanbaru, Riau. This paper further explains the concept of the workshop, the content of workshop materials, and the workshop's effectiveness. This workshop lasted for two months with three face-to-face training. The rest was done online via the Google Classroom platform. The material content covers the basic principles of scientific writing, the steps for writing scientific journals, how to cite and make references, including how to automatically cite using reference manager applications such as Mendeley, and how to submit articles through the online journal OJS system. Data from the survey conducted at the end of the community service activity showed that, in general, this activity was running well and effectively. The majority of participants (72.7%) stated that their motivation to write increased after attending the training. Their knowledge of writing scientific articles have improved after training. Their ability in writing scientific journals is also relatively better than before following this structured workshop.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper describes a community service program conducted by Riau University lecturers which aims to develop several aspects of 21st-century competence through a series of soft skills training for forty participants. This paper further explains the concept of training, the content of the training materials, and the effectiveness of the training. This training lasted for two months with four virtual face-to-face training via Zoom Meetings. The rest was done online through the Google Classroom platform. The content of the training material is divided into two sub soft skills: increasing the ability to take international standard tests (International English Language Testing System/IELTS) and developing public speaking skills. Data from a survey conducted at the end of the program showed that in general, this activity had been running well and effectively. The majority of participants (85.7%) stated that the training activities provided positive benefits for them. More specifically, 63.2% of participants said that their listening skills had improved considerably after the training. Similar data occurs for reading and writing skills (68.4% and 52.6%, respectively). Similar data also appeared in the aspect of public speaking training where the majority of participants admitted that their abilities were getting better after attending the training, especially in terms of engagement with the audience. Thus, this training has benefited the trainees in developing their soft skills.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the potential of commodity-based industrial centers in Bengkalis and Bantan Districts and to find out what superior commodities are in Bengkalis and Bantan districts. The analysis was carried out by descriptive method, using a combined approach, namely quantitative and qualitative. The unit of analysis in this research is Bengkalis Regency, namely in two locations, namely Bengkalis District and Bantan District. The results of the analysis show that Bengkalis Regency is an area that has a strategic geographical location. Main commodities in Bengkalis and Bantan Subdistricts, Bengkalis districts, are food and horticulture, plantation, livestock and fisheries sectors. Which these sectors have a comparative advantage and have export opportunities to other regions (both outside the district and district).]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengeluaran pendidikan, kesehatan dan infrastruktur jalan terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) di Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) tahun 2006 – 2019. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda dengan teknik analisis kuadrat terkecil sederhana (Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Pengujian dilakukan terhadap hipotesis dan data kelayakan (asumsi klasik) menggunakan taraf signifikan 5%.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa belanja pendidikan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) Provinsi Riau, artinya belanja pendidikan dapat mendorong peningkatan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) Provinsi Riau, sektor kesehatan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) Provinsi Riau, artinya belanja kesehatan dapat mendorong peningkatan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia ( IPM) Provinsi Riau. <![CDATA[Today's youth face challenges and competition in life that is more complex than in previous times because the world is getting smaller due to globalization. The problem is that many youths do not yet have sufficient skills to exist in this rapidly changing era. This paper describes a community service activity sponsored by a group of lecturers in the English Education and Communication Studies Study Programs of Universitas Riau which aims to develop the ability of Riau youth to take the international standardised English test (IETLS). This paper further explains the concept of training, the content of the training materials, and the effectiveness of the training. This training lasts for one month with four face-to-face training sessions. The rest is done online through the Google Classroom platform. The content of the training material focuses on improving the ability to take international standardized tests (IELTS). Data from the self-assessment conducted at the end of the service activity session showed that in general this activity had been running well and effectively. The training activities provided positive benefits for the participants as seen from the average self-assessment data in the very good category (3.52). More specifically, the average increase in participants' listening skills after the training was in the very good category (3.43). The speaking ability of the trainees has increased and is in the very good category (3.54). This increase also applies to reading and writing skills in the same category (3.63 and 3.47, respectively). Thus, this training has benefited the trainees in developing their soft skills.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the number of tourist visits to Asia Farm during the COVID-19 pandemic. The population in this study were all visitors to the Asia Farm Pekanbaru tourist attraction as many as 37,538 people. While the sample is 100 people who are determined using the Slovin formula. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive method with multiple linear regression model. The results of data analysis and hypothesis testing can be concluded that health protocols, accessibility and facilities have a positive (+) significant effect on the number of tourist visits to Asia Farm Pekanbaru during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Meanwhile, the ability to manage tourist attractions does not affect the number of tourist visits to Asia Farm Pekanbaru during the Covid-19 Pandemic.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aimed to analyze the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), Capital Expenditure, Own-Source Revenue (OSR), and the Human Development Index (HDI) on poverty in the Kuantan Singingi Regency. The data used was time series data from 2010 to 2021. The test was performed using multiple linear regression tools with OLS analysis techniques. The results showed that the GRDP and OSR significantly negatively affect poverty in Kuantan Singingi Regency. Poverty in Kuantan Singingi Regency will decrease as the GRDP and OSR increase. Meanwhile, Capital Expenditure has a significant effect on the poverty of Kuantan Singingi Regency. However, the HDI does not have a significant positive effect on the poverty of the Kuantan Singingi Regency.]]>
