Abstract

ABSTRACT The research will analyze social facts, social events, and social behavior that occurs in the community and social change on the main character in Bekisar Merah novel. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptre method. Qualitative research is a research to understand phenomenon about what has experienced by the subject of usearch. The writer get the data by reading and recording technique. That is reading the whole novel and then recording the relevant datas which is connects to the analyzed object and conclude it, the result is there is a social fact included social symptom, norm and law. Social symptom influenced by proverties and education at society in Krangsoga village. Norms in the Bekisar Merah is norm of decency is helping each others work together in society and religion norm. verdict meant in Bekisar Merah novel is a rule, which is norm and sanction made to arrange human behavior. Social event happened in Bekisar Merah novel is with Darsa having affair with Sipah that make everyone talk about it and the when. Many coconuts trees collapsed for electricity lane. Social behavior includes habitant psychology at of village. There is social alteration of main participant Lasi. Change from village woman become a rich man’s wife which make herself as ‘Bekisar Merah’ in a city.  Key words: social fact, social behavior, social alterationABSTRAK Penelitian ini akan menganalisis fakta sosial, peristiwa sosial, perilaku sosial yang terjadi di masyarakat dan perubahan sosial pada tokoh utama dalam novel Bekisar Merah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskripsi kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif adalah yang bermaksud untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian. Penulis memperoleh data dengan teknik baca dan teknik catat. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu adanya fakta sosial yang meliputi gejala sosial, norma dan hokum. Gejala sosial dipengaruhi kemiskinan dan pendidikan pada masyarakat desa Karangsoga. Norma yang terdapat dalam novel Bekisar Merah adalah norma kesusilaan yaitu saling membantu, bergotong royong pada masyarakat dan adanya norma keagamaan. Hukum yang di maksud dalam novel Bekisar Merah adalah peraturan yang berupa norma dan sanksi yang dibuat dengan tujuan untuk mengatr tingkah laku manusia. Peristiwa sosial yang terjadi dalam novel Bekisar Merah adalah ketika Darsa berselingkuh dengan Sipah yang membuat semua orang membicarakannya dan peristiwa ketika pohon kelapa banyak direbahkan untuk masuknya jalur listrik. Perilaku sosial meliputi psikologi masyarakat desa pada novel. Adanya perubahan sosial pada tokoh utama yaitu Lasi, perubahan dari wanita desa hingga menjadi istri orang kaya yang membuat dirinya menjadi ‘Bekisar Merah’ di sebuah kota. Kata kunci: fakta sosial, peristiwa sosial, perubahan sosial

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan unsur imajinasi yang tergambar dalam cerita rakyat Miaduka, mendeskripsikan nilai edukasi yang tergambar dalam cerita rakyat Miaduka serta mendeskrpisikan relevansi cerita rakyat Miaduka dengan psikologi perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif sebagai prosedur pemecahan masalah terhadap suatu hal atau objek yang akan diteliti. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah cerita rakyat Miaduka yang ditulis ulang oleh Hari Purwiati dan diterbitkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) dalam cerita rakyat Miaduka dapat ditemukan berbagai unsur imajinasi sebagai karakteristik khas sastra anak melalui demostrasi tokoh nenek Matimuluk yang kemudian berkembang menjadi sajian fantasi sebagai bentuk rekreatif edukatif dari sebuah karya untuk pembaca anak; (2) nilai edukasi yang tergambar dalam cerita rakyat Miaduka berupa edukasi moral, edukasi sosial, edukasi keterampilan serta edukasi multikultural yang diamanatkan melalu perilaku para tokoh dalam cerita; (3) cerita rakyat Miaduka merupakan sebuah cerita yang relevan sebagai bacaan anak baik dari segi bahasa, gaya penuturan maupun kisah yang disajikan. Secara spesifik, cerita rakyat Miaduka termasuk bacaan sastra yang lebih relevan untuk diberikan kepada anak yang masih dalam tahapan Operasional Konkret dalam pandangan psikologi perkembangan anak.  The purpose of this research to describe the element of imagination in Miaduka folklore, describing the value of education in Miaduka folklore and describing the relevance of Miaduka folklore to the psychology of child development. This research is qualitative using the descriptive method as a problem-solving procedure for an object to be studied. The data source in this study is the Miaduka folklore that was rewritten by Hari Purwiati and published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The data collection technique used is library research. The data analysis technique in this study consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the analysis show that: (1) in the Miaduka folklore various elements of imagination can be found as distinctive characteristics of children's literature through the demonstration of the grandmother Matimuluk who later developed into a fantasy presentation as an educational form of recreation for a child reader; (2) the value of education in Miaduka folklore in the form of moral education, social education, skills education and multicultural education through the behavior of the characters in the story; (3) Miaduka folklore is a relevant story as a children's reading both in terms of language, style of narrative and the story presented. Specifically, the Miaduka folklore includes literary readings that are more relevant to be given to children who are still in the concrete operational stage in the view of child development psychology.

Abstract

AbstrakPemahaman masyarakat dalam memaknai umpasa dalam upacara adat seperti, Saur Matua diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan rasa cinta terhadap budaya lokal dan dapat melestarikannya tanpa mengubah aturan yang telah ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah umpasa dalam adat Saur Matua yang bersumber dari tiga informan asli suku Batak Toba. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, teknik rekam, teknik sadap dan teknik lanjut catat. Setelah itu, data dianalisis dengan tahapan mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan membuat simpulan. Hasil penelitian adalah bentuk umpasa; makna umpasa yang terdapat dalam adat Saur Matua adalah makna leksikal, makna referensial, makna konotasi dan makna simbolik; dan fungsi umpasa meliputi fungsi kebudayaan, fungsi kemasyarakatan, fungsi pendidikan, fungsi perorangan dan fungsi religi.AbstractThe understanding of community in interpreting umpasa in traditional ceremonies such as, Saur Matua is expected to foster a love of local culture and can preserve it without changing existing rules. This research uses a type of field research with a qualitative descriptive research approach. The data in this study are umpasa in the Saur Matua tradition sourced from three native informants of the Batak Toba tribe. Data obtained using interview techniques, recording techniques, tapping techniques and note-taking techniques. After that, the data are analyzed with the stages of reducing the data, presenting, and making a conclusion. The results of the research are forms of umpasa; the meaning of umpasa contained in the Saur Matua custom is a lexical meaning, referential meaning, connotation meaning, and symbolic meaning; and umpasa functions include cultural functions, social functions, educational functions, individual functions and religious functions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan jenis tokoh dan teknik penokohan dalam novel Diary Sang Model karya Novanka Raja. Novel Diary Sang Model merupakan novel populer yang dibuat berdasarkan kisah nyata yang berisikan tentang kehidupan seorang model. Penelitian ini memiliki rumusan masalah bagaimana jenis tokoh dalam novel Diary Sang Model karya Novanka Raja, dan bagaimana teknik penokohan dalam novel Diary Sang Model karya Novanka Raja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran jenis tokoh dalam novel Diary Sang Model karya Novanka Raja, dan mendeskripsikan teknik penokohan dalam novel Diary Sang Model Karya Novanka Raja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan berupa jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif yang memaparkan suatu masalah sesuai dengan permasalahan yang ada pada penelitian. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik membaca dan mencatat. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan cara analisis secara langsung kemudian diklarifikasikan menurut kriteria atau pola tertentu dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan maka terdapat unsur instrinsik dalam novel yaitu tokoh dan penokohan. Tokoh merupakan pelaku rekaan yang memainkan peran dengan berbagai watak dan sifat yang dimilikinya yang ditampilkan dalam suatu karya naratif. Berikut penelitian jenis tokoh berdasarkan peran, yaitu tokoh utama, tokoh tambahan, dan berdasarkan wataknya adalah tokoh protagonis, tokoh antagonis, tokoh sederhana, tokoh bulat, tokoh statis dan tokoh berkembang. Penelitian penokohan tersebut terdiri dari teknik ekspositori/analitis (langsung), teknik dramatik (tidak langsung) yang terdiri dari teknik cakapan, teknik tingkah laku, teknik pikiran dan perasaan, teknik arus kesadaran, teknik reaksi tokoh, teknik reaksi tokoh lain, teknik pelukisan latar dan teknik pelukisan fisik.

Abstract

The research that will be raised is about the development of learning media Levidio Storyboard in learning to write the text of film / drama review on the students of class XI SMK. The purpose of this research is (1) Levidio Storyboard learning media in learning to write movie/drama review text, and (2) implementation of Levidio Storyboard media development in learning to write movie/drama review text. This writing is a development writing that refers to the development model of Borg and Gall that has been modified by the author includes seven steps namely writing and gathering information, planning stage, product development stage with Levidio Storyboard, expert validation, first phase revision, field trials, and revisions Final stage improvement. The location of the research was SMKN 7 Samarinda in April s.d. May 2017. Based on data analysis, Levidio Storyboard media is feasible and appropriate for use in learning to write text of film/drama review for students of class XI SMK.Keywords: learning media, levidio storyboard, writing, review text

Abstract

This research is a development research. The aim of this research is to produce a media study base on Macromedia Flash to increase the result of study for students class XI in cell course. This development research applies 4-D model which includes define stage, design stage, develop stage, and disseminate stage. Base on the result of media test, obtained a media study base on Macromedia Flash is valid according to validators and qualified: (1) the ability of teachers to manage learning was good criteria,(2) the activity of students in learning process was active,(3) classical learning completeness is achieved,(4) the respond of students in learning component was positive. The result of research in effective class base on descriptive analysis obtained result that a media study base on Macromedia Flash has been fulfilled, among others: (1) result study in class XI reach 92, 86 % students achieved completeness, (2) the ability of teachers to manage learning was good, (3) student’s activity during the class achieved good criteria, (4) the respond of students in learning was positive. Based on the results of analysis data can be concluded that media study learning model base on Macromedia Flash on cell course in class XI senior high school was good quality.

Abstract

Language affects society because linguistic forms treat men and women discriminatively as a reflection of the strong influence of language on the culture or habits of the speaking community. This study aimed to describe the representation of gender in speech and language politeness of senior high school and vocational school students in Samarinda City and Kutai Kertanegara Regency. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The results of this study showed first, for the speech form by female students towards female teachers, they dominantly used the following forms: positive speech, expressive speech, and assertive speech. Second, for the speech form of female students towards male teachers, they preferred the form: expressive speech and assertive speech. Third, for the speech form of male students towards female teachers, they used the following forms: positive speech, commissive speech, and assertive speech. Fourth, the speech form of male students towards male teachers was expressive. Fifth, gender representation in student’s language politeness showed that female students were more likely to comply and male students were more likely to deviate from the principles of linguistic politeness. This study concludes female students followed the principle of language politeness towards female teachers. Male students expressed more deviations towards male teachers.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aims of (1) developing teaching materials to write short with storyboard media on high school students; (2) make a lesson plan of writing short story with storyboard media at grade X of high school students; (3) implementation of writing short story with storyboard media at rade X of high school students; (4) knowing the effectiveness of teaching materials in writing short story by using storyboard media at grade X of high school students. This study need a development research method adapted from the Borg and Gall development model with 10 stages beginning with needs analysis, planning, initial product development, initial product revision, product trial, product revision, small field trial, revision product, operational field test (large group), final product revision, and product dissemination and implementation. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the teaching materials to write short story with the developed storyboard media was considered feasible and effective to be used as teaching materials for Bahasa Indonesia at Grade X of high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop text learning materials to write complex procedures with learning discovery learning model using audio visual media (video). The research form used is research and development method (R&D). The design used in the research and development of this teaching material adopted from Borg and Gall design model. This development research was conducted in SMA. The result of validation of this teaching material proved to be valid with the average of validation of content (material) 82% said valid, validation of 100% validity of the linguist, and the validation result of the media expert on the 93% video assessment stated very valid and on the handbook rating 84% students stated very valid. The results of the class XI test of SMA showed 86% stated very valid. From the result of data analysis through t-test formula yield Thitung (13,68)> ttabel (1,703), so there is cognitive difference between before and after student use instructional material developed in book with learning discovery learning modeling using audio-visual media with material text of complex class XI procedures. Then the results of the development that has been done to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of research for the development of teaching materials to write essays with local wisdom through PBP in grade XII high school students. The scope of this development is limited only to the development of teaching materials, development of learning tools and effectiveness in the learning process. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D), using development research design with Brog & Gall model. Source of data that become object in this research is student of class XII in SMA Negeri 9 Balikpapan. Development of teaching materials obtained by the material expert test results 82% declared feasible, 84% media expert test declared feasible, 85% design assessment test declared feasible, field test 72.3% small group declared good, a field test of large group 79.6% expressed well. So as a whole the data obtained from the development of teaching materials declared eligible, the development of learning tools refers to the modified syllabus and RPP adapted to the learning activities, evaluation results provide improvements in students' skills in writing essays. The overall quality of teaching materials that are the product of this development is categorized eligible for use of class XII students even semester.
