Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of junior high school students’ spatial and mathematical logical intelligence based on understanding the concepts. Spatial intelligence indicators in this study are reviewed from students’ abilities in using images as a tool for solving problems, connecting data with concepts that have been held, and finding patterns in solving problems. On the other hand, the indicators of students’ mathematical logical intelligence is observed by looking at students' abilities to mention and understand information that is known in a problem, to draw up a plan of completion and to do mathematical calculations correctly. The indicators of understanding concepts are restating a concept, providing examples and non-examples of concepts, and applying concepts or algorithms in problem solving. The research method in this research is the Ex Post Facto correlational type, with using a purposive sampling as the sampling technique. The results of the data analysis obtained a correlation coefficient is around 0.93 with 86% R square. The relationship between the spatial intelligence variables is shown by the understanding of concepts by 86%, the level of the relationship, with the correlation coefficient is 0.93, where mathematical logical intelligence with an understanding of 80%, with the level of the relationship of 0.89, and the relationship of spatial intelligence with a mathematical logical is described by a 77% level of the relationship, with 0.88, as the correlation coefficient. The results showed that there was a very strong relationship between spatial intelligence and logical mathematics in terms of understanding students' concepts.

Abstract

The oil palm is the most productive plantation product in Indonesia. Government strategies and policies related to oil palm plantations continue to be carried out considering that the plantation area is increasing every year. Segmentation of oil palm plantations based on area, production, and productivity aims to identify groups of potential oil palm plantations in the territory of Indonesia. This segmentation can provide consideration in formulating strategies and policies that will be made by the government. The segmentation method for grouping oil palm plantations uses the K-Means Clustering Data Mining technique with 3 clusters specified. Data mining stages start from data collection until representation is carried out, where 34 data sets are collected, only 25 data sets can be processed further. The results of this grouping obtained three plantation segments, namely 72% of the plantation group with low potential, 20% of the plantation group with medium potential, and 8% of the plantation group with high potential.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best supplier for in-Lite lighting products. The company chose criteria and sub-criteria in supplier selection to optimize product sales continuity. This study used the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, which provided information about the criteria, sub-criteria, and alternatives in the selection of three suppliers: A, B, and C. The existence of priority weights provided a decision in choosing the supplier of the lighting product. The new criteria and sub-criteria were the results of the literature study formulation and then adjusted again with the results of the interview. Seven criteria were determined in this study: production, price, quality, site selection, product suitability, delivery, and service. The results of the calculation of the priority weights of the criteria, sub-criteria, and alternative selection using a questionnaire. The parties involved in the selection of suppliers filled out the questionnaire to obtain a weight for each supplier. Based on the results of AHP calculations, supplier A got the highest weight of 0,442 or 44%, so this supplier is used as a company priority in choosing suppliers for in-Lite type lighting products.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan limbah plastik polipropilena dan tandan kosong kelapa sawit dilakukan dengan cara mengolah serta menggabungkan limbah plastik polipropilena dengan pati tandan kosong sawit menjadi plastik biodegradable yang mudah terurai di alam. Modifikasi komposisi yang digunakan pada pembuatan plastik biodegradable adalah limbah plastik dan pati tandan kosong sawit adalah (80:20; 70:30; 60:40). Metode pencetakan plastik biodegradable adalah dengan metode kempa tekan panas. Hasil karakterisasi plastik biodegradable dengan komposisi optimum yaitu pada perbandingan 60:40 menunjukkan harga kekuatan tarik 6,54 N/m2 dan kemuluran 2,42%. Hasil analisa sifat biodegradable-nya didapatkan penurunan massa yang telah ditanam selama 1 bulan yaitu pada tanah sampah sebesar 6,78% dan analisa dengan FT-IR ditemukan bilangan gelombang 1165 cm-1 yang menunjukkan gugus fungsi C-O bending yang khas untuk menunjukkan ikatan antara limbah plastik polipropilena ter-grafting maleat anhidrida dan pati yang didukung dengan bilangan gelombang 1590-1560 cm-1 yang menunjukkan gugus fungsi C=C pada maleat anhidrida dan polipropilena yang terikat silang.

Abstract

This study aims to compare several methods to get the best methods on forecasting the volume of Indonesian palm oil exports. In addition, this study also aims to estimate the volume of Indonesian palm oil exports for the next five years. Some of the forecasting methods used in this study are linear regression, exponential smoothing, and ARIMA. The data used is historical data on the volume of palm oil exports from 1981 to 2020. The results of calculations and analysis show that the exponential smoothing model of the damped trend method produces the smallest error value compared to other methods, the MAD value is 860,353, the MSE value is 1,707,738,707,222, the RSME value is 1,306,805, and the MAPE value is 20.6%. This method has chosen to be the best forecasting method for the next five years. The forecast results obtained that the volume of Indonesian palm oil exports for the next five years are28.864.223,31 tons, 28.967.062,92 tons, 29.064.976,80 tons, 29.158.200,89 tons, and 29.246.959,81 tons.

Abstract

Digitalisasi pemasaran merupakan salah satu alternatif solusi dalam membantu memulihkan keterpurukan pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di masa pandemi Covid-19. Keterbatasan kompetensi dan jumlah Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) pada UMKM sendiri merupakan tantangan yang cukup besar dalam penerapannya. Sehingga, kegiatan pengabdian ini difokuskan untuk memberikan pemahaman, keterampilan dan pendampingan terkait kompetensi pemasaran digital kepada UMKM dalam upaya meningkatkan penjualan dan brand awareness. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama lima bulan dan terlaksana dengan baik, dimana dihasilkan minimal 3 platform media pemasaran digital untuk setiap UMKM, yaitu google bisnisku, instagram bisnis, dan whatsapp bisnis. Manfaat dari kegiatan ini dapat dirasakan oleh UMKM sehingga dapat mengembalikan siklus penjualan mereka menjadi lebih baik dan juga meningkatkan brand awareness masyarakat terkait produk mereka karena akan menjadi lebih mudah untuk di akses.

Abstract

This study aims to provide suggestions for improvements in overcoming stock shortages of soft drink products using a forecasting method. The results of such forecasting will be compared with the forecasting methods used by the company at this time. The Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method was used in this study to improve the accuracy of demand forecasting in soft drink products (TBE 350 mL K12 Aseptic). This study used product sales data for the period January 2016 to January 2022. Based on the results of calculation and data processing, it is known that the best model is ARIMA (2,1,0) with a MAPE value of 35,966%. Meanwhile, the method used by the company has a MAPE value of 36.569%. It Shows that the ARIMA method (2,1,0) has better forecasting accuracy compared to the company's forecasting method with a MAPE difference of 0.604%.  The validation results were obtained forecasting in January 2022 with ARIMA (2,1,0) of 22,569 cartons, while the company's method was 21,194 cartons. This shows that the ARIMA method (2,1,0) is more accurate in forecasting because it has a forecast value in the January 2022 period close to the actual demand value, which is 23,193 cartons. The ARIMA model equation (2,1,0) for forecasting soft drink products in the following month is Zt = 0,494Zt-1 + 0,210Zt-2 + 0,297Zt-3

Abstract

Pasca Pandemi Covid-19 mendorong sektor industri yang salah satunya adalah sektor UMKM, untuk kembali bangkit dan pulih. Oleh karena itu perkembangan transformasi digital saat ini diharapkan dapat membantu memulihkan kondisi UMKM yang berada disektar. Berbagai macam media dan aplikasi digital banyak bermunculan dalam segala bidang keilmuan, dan dapat dimanfaatkan dalam rangka meningkatkan keterampilan para pelaku UMKM. Melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, UMKM didampingi dan dibimbing untuk dapat memahami dan mengaplikasikan keterampilan digital pada keseharian mereka, guna memulihkan dan meningkatkan kembali usaha mereka. Empat UMKM dibidang kuliner terpilih untuk diberikan bimbingan serta pendampingan selama lima bulan, dengan fokus penerapan aplikasi dan media digital dalam upaya pemulihan dan pengembangan usaha. Penerimaan dari UMKM binaan sangat baik dan antusias, sedikit banyak hasil dari pemdampingan dirasakan hingga beberapa diantaranya mengalami kenaikan omzet penjualan. Sehingga dapat dinyatakan, bahwa kegiatan pendampingan dengan penerapan media digital dirasakan cukup efektif dalam membantu memulihkan kondisi UMKM pasca pandemic Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the concept of Value Stream Mapping and its significance in process improvement. It highlights the key steps involved in creating a VSM and emphasizes its role in identifying and addressing various types of waste, such as waiting time, unnecessary movement, and rework. By mapping the current state of a process, organizations gain insights into its inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Furthermore, the importance of developing a future state Value Stream Map that outlines the desired state of the process after implementing improvements. It emphasizes the need for continuous monitoring and evaluation to ensure sustained progress and ongoing optimization. Overall, Value Stream Mapping offers organizations a systematic approach to analyze, optimize, and enhance their processes. By visualizing the value flow and identifying opportunities for improvement, businesses can achieve higher levels of efficiency, reduced costs, improved quality, and ultimately deliver greater value to their customers. The calculation and analysis explained that the total processing time was 105.8 minutes and the total lead time was 47 minutes resulting in a non-value added (NVA) of 34 minutes. If the converted into a process percentage form, it is 32% of the total time spent on operational air freight.
