Abstract

Website is an important part of any organization namely in the government, business, health and education sectors. In the world of higher education, website can be used to disseminate information related to campus life as well as a medium for promoting the existence of the campus to the outside world. As a higher education institution, Polytechnic ATI Padang own a website which is used to display various information about campus academic activities. In its management, the level of user satisfaction of the website of Polytechnic ATI Padang has never been measured. The Webqual 4.0 method used in this study aims to measure the satisfaction of internal website users by looking at the dimensions of Usability, Information Quality, Interaction Quality and Customer Satisfaction. Measurements performed by using a questionnaire instrument with Likert scale then calculated with the help of SPSS software. The results obtained that the independent variables, namely Usability, Information Quality, Interaction Quality have an influence on the dependent variable Customer Satisfaction of 70.1% and there are still 29.9% of other independent variables that can affect the dependent variable Customer Satisfaction. Furthermore, based on the results of the calculation of the satisfaction level with Likert scale, it was found that the variables of Usability, Information Quality, Interaction Quality and Customer Satisfaction received a satisfied interpretation, so it can be concluded that the Polytechnic ATI Padang website provides good service to its users.

Abstract

The computerized system is closely related to today’s office works. Computer works with high intensity of repetition and awkward posture can cause harm or risk. This can cause discomfort in several areas of the body. Therefore, an office ergonomics assessment that focuses on humans as the most important component is needed to determine the impact and causes of the discomfort problem. In this study, MIRTH Office is used as the assessment tools. The questionnaire consists of two parts, namely general information and conformity assessment. The data processing stage in this study consisted of problem identification and problem grouping. The results showed that most of the respondents experienced pain in the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists and lower back. These results indicate the need of ergonomics intervention as early as possible to prevent the risk of musculoskeletal disorders.

Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Kebun Gedeh Mas, Cianjur merupakan perkebunan yang bergerak pada pengolahan bahan baku teh hitam (Orthodoks). Permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah pengendalian kualitas proses pengeringan kurang maksimal dan belum memenuhi standar perusahaan sehingga mempengaruhi produk yang dihasilkan. Agar kerugian dapat diminimalisir, maka perlu dilakukan tindakan perbaikan agar produk yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan standar perusahaan. Konsep DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) pada metode Six Sigma merupakan salah satu metode dalam perbaikan kualitas. Hasil pengolahan dan analisis data yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan pada proses pengeringan produksi teh hitam terdapat cacat produk. Faktor yang menyebabkan kualitas kurang bagus adalah pertama material yang digunakan. Faktor kedua yaitu manusia atau operator, dan faktor ketiga adalah mesin yang digunakan. Langkah peningkatan kualitas dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat implementasi five M-Checklist. Faktor - faktor yang menyebabkan kualitas produk kurang bagus dibuatkan rencana perbaikannya agar tidak terjadi lagi cacat pada produk.

Abstract

Sistem transportasi yang baik dan memadai merupakan hal penting yang harus diperhatikan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelayanan terhadap keperluan masyarakat dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya setiap hari. Aktivitas transportasi tidak hanya berlangsung pada siang hari, namun juga dilakukan pada malam hari sehingga keberadaan lampu penerangan jalan sangat penting untuk menerangi jalan dan melancarkan kegiatan transportasi tersebut. Saat ini kondisi lampu jalan di Kota Padang banyak yang mengalami kerusakan. Penyebab utama kerusakan lampu jalan adalah tegangan, yaitu beban puncak yang terjadi mulai dari pukul 18.00-23.00 WIB. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan Key Performance Indicator (KPI) untuk menghasilkan standar penilaian kinerja dalam melakukan penilaian terhadap pemeliharaan lampu jalan yang ada di kota Padang. Perancangan dimulai dengan mengidentifikasi KPI yang didapatkan dari studi literatur. KPI yang telah didapatkan divalidasi kepada stakeholder untuk mendapatkan KPI yang cocok untuk diterapkan di kota Padang. Setelah itu dilakukan pembobotan KPI melalui perbamdingan berpasangan dengan menggunakan metode AHP.Keywords: penilaian, kinerja, key performance indicators, kinerja pemeliharaan lampu jalan

Abstract

Construction project implementation process is often found inefficiency and problems at every stage of the construction process. Inefficiencies are caused because construction projects have high levels of fragmentation. The high level of fragmentation cannot be separated from the complexity and many work items on construction projects. To reduce the problem of inefficiencies in the implementation of construction projects required good supply chain management or better known as supply chain management (SCM) on construction projects. Therefore it is necessary to study the management of SCM in the construction project to reduce the inefficiency that occurred. SCM management of construction projects is done by designing SCM performance measurement systems in construction projects. This performance measurement system produces indicators that are combined with the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) method. So it helps in performing SCM performance measurement on construction projects. From the design results, obtained 14 SCM performance indicators on construction projects. The performance indicators are then used to perform SCM performance measurement of cement plant construction projects. From the measurement results obtained SCM performance value of 41 from a scale of 100. This shows the performance of SCM on construction projects for the construction of the cement plant is at a marginal level.

Abstract

PT Bintara Tani Nusantara merupakan suatu perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dibidang industri Pengelolahan Kelapa Sawit. Pada saat produksi permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah mesin screw press yang mengalami downtime. Downtime yang terjadi pada mesin mengakibatkan proses produksi akan terganggu atau dapat berhenti beroperasi pada stasiun kerja selanjutnya. Untuk mencegah terjadinya downtime, perusahaan perlu menerapkan sistem perawatan guna meminimalkan kerusakan yang terjadi pada mesin. Penerapan sistem perawatan yang dilakukan adalah dengan Total Productive Maintenance melalui metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Berdasarkan pengolahan dan analisis data didapat nilai OEE mesin screw press adalah 45,55%. Dengan kondisi ini jelas mesin screw press dapat dikatakan tidak memenuhi standar untuk nilai OEE yaitu kurang dari 85%. Faktor yang menyebabkan nilai OEE rendah karena mesin sering mengalami kerusakan secara tiba-tiba pada saat proses produksi. Untuk meningkatkan nilai OEE, perusahaan seharusnya memperhatikan kondisi mesin yang ada serta memastikan melakukan perawatan mesin secara berkala sehingga kerusakan mesin bisa dikurangi.

Abstract

                                                                                                                                                   Palm Oil Mill is an industry that processes Fresh Fruit Bunches into Crude Palm Oil. The processing is supported by the use of several production machines, one of them is a sterilizer machine that works to boil TBS. Damage to the sterilizer machine can reduce the level of productivity. To overcome the occurrence of such damage, it is necessary to analyze the damage that occurred. Damage analysis was carried out using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and Caused and Effect Diagram approaches. From the results of observations and interviews, there are 3 types of damage that often occur. Of the three damages, the type of error that needs to be corrected immediately is based on the value of the Risk Priority Number (RPN), namely damage to the leaky rubber packing door with an RPN value of 85.65. Meanwhile, other types of damage are Leaking Inlet Pipes and detached Aluminum Pipes which have RPN values of 52.48 and 28.9. Based on the analysis of the causes of damage to the rubber packing door, the company can make improvements to the maintenance system, use quality materials, training and socialization, budgeting costs, and monitoring work methods

Abstract

Pengadaan material memegang peran penting dalam terselenggaranya proses bisnis di perusahaan. Proses pengadaan material yang perusahaan lakukan biasanya ditunjang dengan fasilitas sistem informasi terintegrasi ERP seperti SAP. Khusus untuk proses procurement perusahaan menggunakan e-procurement dan SAP Material Management modul. Adanya durasi lead time yang cukup lama mengenai sampainya dari beberapa material tertentu yang dibutuhkan pabrik pada proses pengadaannya. Karena itu perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap proses pengadaan material pada implementasi SAP ERP yang sudah ada. Evaluasi akan dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Gambaran tentang bagaimana proses pengadaan material dilakukan setelah penerapan SAP diukur performance-nya dari frekuensi case dan durasi lead time. Selanjutnya ditentukan atribut data pada event log apa saja yang dibutuhkan pada penelitian dan dilanjutkan dengan ekstraksi event log. Event log kemudian akan diolah dengan tools process mining tertentu. Keluaran dari proses ini adalah model proses bisnis pengadaan yang sesungguhnya dijalankan dan terekam pada modul SAP MM. Dari hasil process mining, tidak ditemukan ketidaksesuain dan kesenjangan mayor pada proses berdasarkan prosedural pengadaan yang ditetapkan. Namun, dapat ditemukan waktu tunggu yang lama setelah create PR Doc menuju RFQ Date, rata-rata waktu mencapai 173 hari hingga PO delivery. Selain itu, ditemukan terdapat sedikit bottleneck pada waktu tertentu dimana adanya aktifitas dan case sangat banyak yang perlu ditangani oleh para user.  Penelitian ini memberikan analisa sebab akibat penyebab permasalahan tersebut baik dari hasil process mining dan kuesioner yang didapat. Perusahaan sebaiknya membuat kebijakan target waktu pengadaan dan menetapkan prosedur RFQ, pemilihan vendor yang lebih efektif sehingga dapat mempersingkat waktu proses pengadaan ini.

Abstract

PT Bukit Muria Jaya is a company engaged in the manufacture of cigarette paper which has good quality paper, has a white color and low tear strength. The process of making cigarette paper carried out in PT Bukit Muria Jaya Laboratory has several stages of the process starting from taking raw materials in PM (paper machine) 1, mixing with starch, printing process, pressing process, and drying process. At the time of making cigarette paper using pulp of the NBKP and LBKP types. The shed paper that is made will be tested for the specified physical parameters such as grammature, tensile strength and permeability. In this research, cigarette paper will be made without using a CaCO3 filler with NBKP: LBKP variations are 35: 65, 45: 55, 55: 45, 65: 35, 75: 25, 85: 15, 95: 5%. The results showed that all variables used did not meet the desired physical properties of cigarette paper.

Abstract

One of the plantation companies and palm oil mills in West Sumatera is part of the group and makes a positive contribution. In one of the palm oil factories in West Sumatra, there is a problem with the flow of the work process, where there is an accumulation of products of different sizes in the factory area. This hinders the product transfer process. In addition, this situation will affect the use of the land area. Therefore, it is necessary to consider how to make or change the layout of facilities more effectively and efficiently. An activity Relationship Chart will be used as a method to make recommendations for the layout design of palm coconut factories. The flow of the crude palm oil production process from the proposed layout design weighs the car and bunches of fresh fruits before heading to isolation until the bunches of ripe fruits are stored in the storage tank before being transferred to the transport car. Based on the proposed layout redesign, the management of the oil palm mill can consider improving the placement of the area in the boiler station, as well as the placement of production not too far from the production process.
