Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. XYZ in the garden section, a company engaged in the forestry sector of industrial plants and products that produce HVS paper (such as paper one, otc), paperboard, kiky books, tissue (teas). PT.XYZ manages raw materials that are not in accordance with the target, the purpose of this study is to determine the amount of workload and the number of workers in the garden section at PT. XYZ. To collect the data needed in this study, data collection techniques were used through direct observation of the object under study, interviews and various other reference sources. Data analysis using the Workload Analysis method. From the results of calculations using the method, workload is one aspect that must be considered by every company, and workload must be considered for a worker to get harmony and high work productivity. By using the Workload Analysis method and to find out how much the optimal number of workers is in the raw material section. After analyzing the data using this analysis, it can be obtained that the average workload on the raw material section is 184.39%, which means that the workload is excessive. In order for the workload of each workforce in the garden to be optimal, it is advisable to increase the workload with an average workload of 92.19% so that effectiveness can be achieved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of he education level of married women on the use of contraceptives on married women workers in West Sumatra Province. (2) the effect of the  type of work on the  use of contraceptives on married female workers in West Sumatra. (3) the effect in the area of residence on thee use oof contraceptives on thee labor oof married women in West Sumatra.(4) the effect of working hours on the use of contraceptives married female workers in West Sumatra. (5) the effect of income on the use of contraceptives on the labor of woman married in West Sumatera. This research uses data from the National Social Economic Survey (SUSENAS) in 2018. The analysis tool used is logistic regression analysis, and the total number of respondents is 8251 people. The result of the studying indicated that(1) thee level of education has a significant negative effect on the opportunities for married female workers to use contraceptives in West Sumatra, (2) the type of work has no significant negative effect on the opportunities for married womens works to use contraceptives in West Sumatra, (3) the area of residence dooesn’t have a significant positive effect on the opportunities for married female workers to use contraception in West Sumatra, (4) working hours has a siginificant and positive effect on the opportunities for married womens works to use contraception in West Sumatra, (5) income Not a significant positive effect on employment opportunities for married women in using contraceptives in West Sumatra.

Abstract

The Study aims to analyzed the effect of number of branches bank inclusion, ATM machine inclusion, number of deposit accounts inclusion on Indonesian economy. Data used from 2012-2017 that invlove 6 main islands in Indonesia by The Central Bureau of Statistic and CEIC data. The data analysis used regression panel model to estimate the effect of Indonesian economy. The results show that number of branches bank inclusion, ATM machine inclusion an number of deposit accounts inclusion have positive and significant impact on Indonesian economy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Foreign Investment (PMA), Domestic Investment (PMDN) on Human Resource Quality (HR) and Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) on the Economy in Indonesia, where the quality of human resources is measured using the average length school residents aged 15 years and over. This type of research is descriptive and associative research, namely research that describes the research variable and finds the presence or absence of influence between independent variables and dependent variables. The types of data in this study are secondary data and panel data from 2012-2016 per Province in Indonesia. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis and inductive analysis. In inductive analysis there are several tests, namely: Panel Regression Model, Classical Assumption Test, t Test. The results of this study indicate that (1) Foreign investment (PMA) has a positive and significant effect on the economy in Indonesia, (2) domestic investment (PMDN) has a negative and not significant effect on the economy in Indonesia, (3) the quality of human resources has a positive effect and significant to the economy in Indonesia, (4) the level of labor force participation (TPAK) has a positive and significant effect on the economy in Indonesia. By using α = 5%.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the relationship between energy use, economic growth and environmental emissions in Indonesia. The type of this research is associative descriptive research, where the data used is secondary data 1982-2016 which uses the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) data to see the long and short term at the same time. The findings of this study indicate that there is no causality or unidirectional relationship between energy use and economic growth. There is no causal relationship or unidirectional relationship between economic growth and environmental emissions. There is a causal relationship between environmental emissions and energy use.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leading sectors in West Pasaman District and find the structure change economic in West Pasaman District. The method used in this study is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to see the leading sector and Shift Share Analysis to see a chage in economic structure in West Pasaman District. This type of research is descriptive and quantitative research with the data used are primary data and PDRB data from 2012-2016. The results showed that (1) the leading sector in West Pasaman District was agriculture, forestry and fisheries (2) there was a change in the economic structure in West Pasaman District from the agricultural sector to the industrial sector and services

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence bettwen PAD, DAU, DBH, DAK on Regional Expenditure in the District/City of West Sumatra. This study also analyzed whether there was a flypaper effect in West Sumatra an how the condition of reginal financial capabilities in teh District/City of West Sumatra. The data used are secondary data in the form of panels with a period of time from 2015 to 2017, with the technique of collectting documentation data and libarary studies obtained from relevant intitusions and agencies. The variabels used are Reginal Expenditures, PAD, DAU, DBH, and DAK. The research method used is the Panel Regression Model and the Quadrant Mwthod. The results show that: (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between PAD and Regional Expenditure (2) there is a posotive and significant relationship between DAU and Regional Expenditure (3) there is a negative and insignificant relationship between DBH and Regional Expenditure (4) there is a positive and significant relationship between DAK of Regional Expenditure (5) inicated a flypaper effect in West Sumatra (6) from 19 District/City in west sumatra, only 5 regions occupying qudran I, 4 regions occupying qudran II, one occupying qudran III and 9 regions occupy qudran IV.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of money supply M2, interest rate, government spending and local tax on the inflation in West Sumatera. This type of research is descriptive research and secondary datain the form of time-series from quartely 1 2007 to 2017 quartely 4 using the method of Autoregresive Distributed Lag analysis. The results of this study indicate that money supply in the long run have a significant and positive effect on inflation West Sumatera. In the short run  and long run the interest rate has a significant and positive effect on inflation in West Sumatera. Government spending in the Long run has a significant and negative effect on inflation in West Sumatera. Based on the result of this study can be concluded that there is inflation in West Sumatera is monetery of phenomenon in the long run.

Abstract

The purpose of this studywas to determine the efect of income, gender, type of work, number of dependents, level of education to visit commercial tourist attractions in West Sumatra. This type of research is descriptive, where this study uses secondary data in the form of national socioeconomic survey data in 2017 and uses logistic regression methods. The results of this study indicate that income, type of work, number of dependents, level of education have a positive and significant effect on opportunities for tourist visits in West Sumatra, while gender, has a negative and significant effect on opportunities for tourist visits in West Sumatra.Keywords: tourist visits, income, gender type, type of work, number of dependents, education level.

Abstract

Study aims to determine the effect of political stability, crime and global competitiveness on foreign direct investment in 6 ASEAN countries by using secondary data from 2013 to 2019 and using panel data regresi analysis techniques. The results show that political stability has a positive and significant impact on foreign direct investment in 6 ASEAN countries. crime has a negative and significant effect on foreign direct investment  in 6 ASEAN countries. Global competitiveness has a positive and insignificant effect on foreign direct investment in 6 ASEAN countries. And economic growth as a control variable has a positive and insignificant effect on foreign direct investment, foreign direct investment in 6 ASEAN countries. Together, political stability, crime, global competitiveness and economic growth affect foreign direct investment in foreign direct investment in 6 ASEAN countries.
