Abstract

Abstract  The background of this research was the lack of junior high school students’ spatial reasoning and quantitative reasoning  in Pythagoras theorem. This research used Didactical Design Research (DDR) method which started by a preliminary study to 18 students of grade IX A Bumi Khatulistiwa  Junior High School.  The preliminary study was aimed to explore students’ learning obstacles to develep didactical design. The developed didactical design was implemented to 20 students of grade VIII A of Bumi Khatulistiwa  Junior High School. After this implementation the developed didactical design was revised. The results of this research were the learning tools used by previous teacher have  explored spatial reasoning and quantitative reasoning, the developed didactical design had minimized students’ epistemological obstacle.    Keywords: Didactical Design, Spatial Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Epistemogical Obstacle

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' perceptions of D3 dressmaking Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality University of Padang on entrepreneurship with a sample of 55 students of D3 dressmaking class of 2012 - 2014. The perception of entrepreneurship using three indicators: awareness, impact, and desire entrepreneurship. This research is quantitative descriptive by calculating the mean, median, mode, frequency distribution and classification techniques. Results of research students' perceptions D3 dressmaking for entrepreneurship in terms of awareness of entrepreneurship from 55 respondents 17 respondents are in the high category with a percentage (30.91%), Tourism and Hospitality in terms of impact of entrepreneurship 26 respondents at high category with a percentage (47.27%) and in terms of the desire for entrepreneurship 23 respondents at high category with a percentage (41.82%). It can be concluded that the D3 dressmaking student of the Faculty of University of Padang have the perception that high in terms of awareness, impact, and desire to entrepreneurship. Abstract

The purpose of the research as an effort to solve the college students problem in Gambar Anatomi lectures at drawing the proportions of the body, because students have difficulty in drawing body proportions. This research is a research and development known as Research and Development (R & D) which aims to produce a learning media valid and practical.The research procedures include define, design and develop stages. The data was from validity test, small group and big group of college students practicallity test, and advisor of Gambar Anatomi leature subject. The validity test given to 4 validator, practicallity test given to 10 college students, big group practicallity test given to 40 college students and given to 1 advisor of Textile Analysis lectures subject. Based validity test the researcher got score 4,54 which categorized as valid. The result of practicallity test from small group was got score 84,19% which categorized as very practical, big group test was got score 82,75% which categorized as very practical and test from advisor of lectures subject was got score 90,00% which categorized as very practical. Abstract

This study aim to determine the motivation in completing the study  in the Department of Family Welfare. The type of thisresearch is descriptive quantitative to explain and interpret the data.The samples in this study were all student dressmaking class from2005-207. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires. Theresult to analysis of data and level of achievement of the respondentsused the percentage rate technique. Abstract

Dengue Hemorragic Fever (DHF) is a disease that spread rapidly. The way of spreading dengue fever through Aedes Aegypti mosquito bites. During the year of 2005-2009, the incident of DHF in DKI Jakarta was always high. It is a challenge for local government in Jakarta to solve the problem. Controling the growth of dengue virus through PSN (Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk) movement requires perseverance, motivation, and community participation. Therefore, research which describe about health behavior related practice of DHF prevention in society is need to be conducted. This quantitative research with cross sectional method aim to describe the DHF prevention practice in an endemic DHF place. The purposive sampling method was used to gain 148 research participants. This study found that 68,69% research participants have prevention practices at a moderate level, and there are still 15% have bad prevention practices. Based on this it is expected that assistance and support of health workers can improve the prevention practice of DHF.

Abstract

Makalah ini akan membahas “M-EQ Plus” yaitu Mobile Emotional Intelligence Plus berbasis multimedia. Aplikasiini merupakan aplikasi kecerdasan emosional dan konten-konten pendukung yang ditanamkan pada perangkat selular untuksiswa SMP di Indonesia. Aplikasi tersebut dibagi menjadi 6 bagian yaitu: tes EQ (emotional intelligence), profil tokoh -tokoh yang memiliki kecerdasan emosi yang baik, komik lucu, ramalan zodiak, info bantuan, dan info pembuat aplikasi.Fungsionalitas yang disediakan untuk pengguna adalah uji tipe emosi yang digunakan untuk menganalisa tipe dasar emosipengguna dan ramalan zodiak untuk mengetahui karakter sifat emosi pengguna. Penentuan tipe emosi melalui aplikasi inidilakukan dengan menjawab pertanyaan – pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh sistem dan menginputkan angka tanggal lahir danbulan kelahiran pengguna untuk mengetahui hasil ramalan zodiak. Ada tiga metode yang akan digunakan untukmengembangkan aplikasi kecerdasan emosional berbasis multimedia, yaitu studi literatur, wawancara dan pengembanganperangkat lunak. Metode studi literatur dilakukan untuk mempelajari bahan-bahan tentang kecerdasan emosional untuksiswa SMP, sedangkan metode wawancara digunakan untuk meminta masukan/komentar dan menguji coba aplikasi kepadapengguna, serta metode pengembangan perangkat lunak dilakukan untuk menganalisa, mendesain, mengimplementasikandan menguji aplikasi. Aplikasi “M-EQ Plus” tersebut diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan Adobe Flash CS3 dan FlashLite 2.0. Aplikasi ini telah diujicobakan pada 37 responden yang terdiri dari 36 siswa SMP Negeri 4 Depok-Sleman-Yogyakarta dan seorang psikolog dengan menggunakan perangkat selular Nokia 5700 dan Nokia N95 dengan hasil 35%orang memberikan penilaian sangat baik, dan 52% orang memberikan penilaian baik, dan juga para siswa dapat mengetahuitingkat kecerdasan emosinya dan menggunakan konten-konten pendukung dalam aplikasi ini.

Abstract

Abstract.Dataset is the key to natural language processing. Datasets can be created by giving information to a text or sentence (annotation process). The process can be done either manually or automatically. The automatic one is considered easier and it takes a shorter period of time compared to the manual process. This study is done to develop an application of data annotation (AADT) using Progressive Web Apps (PAW). This application is built by implementing text information extraction to support NER (Named Entity Recognition) approach. The result shows that AADT successfully helped the annotation process of the text data. PWA application sustains the data storage which is continually accessed with small change rate. Besides, PWA is able to keep this application stable. NER (Named Entity Recognition) implementation in this application successfully produced the dataset desired by its users.Key words: Natural Language Processing, Named Entity Recognition, Annotation, Progressive Web Apps.Abstrak.Dataset adalah komponen utama dalam pemrosesan bahasa alami. Dataset dapat dibuat dengan melakukan pemberian informasi pada sebuah teks ataupun sebuah kalimat (proses anotasi). Pembuatan dataset dapat dilakukan secara manual dan otomatis. Pembuatan dataset secara otomatis lebih mudah dan membutuhkan waktu yang lebih singkat daripada pembuatan secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat aplikasi alat bantu proses anotasi AADT (Aplikasi Anotasi Data Teks) dengan menggunakan PWA (Progressive Web Apps). Aplikasi ini dibangun dengan menerapkan information extraction terhadap teks untuk mendukung pendekatan NER (Named Entity Recognition). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berhasil membantu proses anotasi data teks. Penggunaan PWA pada aplikasi ini membantu dalam penampungan data yang akan diakses secara terus menerus dengan tingkat perubahan yang kecil. Selain itu PWA membuat aplikasi tetap stabil. Penerapan NER pada aplikasi ini berhasil menghasilkan dataset yang sesuai dengan keinginan pengguna.Kata Kunci: Pemrosesan Bahasa Alami, Named Entity Recognition, Anotasi, Progressive

Abstract

  This study aimed to describe about the craft of SongketBungoTanjung which includes decorative and the meanings which contained in Songket motifs Tenunan Sogket Bungo Tanjung. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. Collecting data in this study was using techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the SongketBungoTanjung consists of six motifs derived from naturalist decoration which have functional characteristic namely: KapalSenggat, Duren Pecah, Kembang Duren, Teratai di Atas Air, Teratai di Dalam Air and Merak. While, the decorative pattern which used to fill the field of ornamental patterns and decorative patterns symmetrical periphery. As the meaning of the motif is Kembang Duren means a child that must be given knowledge from childhood, Teratai means flower that grows in Bungo and into the first history which came to Bungo, Duren Pecah means the people who is knowledgeable will always be good at keeping themselves, Motif KapalSenggat means in life we have to be introspective and cautious, Merak implies the meaning of the sacrifice of a mother is very large. key word: Songket, Bungo Tanjung

Abstract

Research  to improve decorative student creativity [of] tablecloth [pass/through] method [gift/ giving] of practice and duty [in] SMA N 4 Payakumbuh.Kreativitas student in this research can be seen from four indicator that is: Feeling to like to know student siswa,keberanian, creating new ideas, getting new pengelaman in decorating tablecloth with application embroidery. Research type that is Research Of Action Class ( PTK) consist of II cycle. Research Subjek [is] student of SMAN 4 Payakumbuh, amounting to 20 student people in class development of executed [by] data collecting diri.Teknik [is] Observation and technique analyse quantitative data and qualitative Result of research indicate that student creativity [at] indicator: feel to like to know [at] cycle of I mean 54%, cycle of II 84%. Bravery [at] cycle of I mean 56%, cycle of II 88%. Creating new ideas [at] cycle of I mean 57%, cycle of II 87%, and get new experience [at] cycle of I mean 63%, cycle of II 85%. Becoming student creativity mean in decorating tablecloth with application embroidery with four indicator, cycle of I 59% categorized less and cycle of II 85% very well, student creativity bararti have been reached, with attainment goals which have been specified [by] that is 80%. Abstract

This study aimed to describe the interest of students, the intrinsic factor(aptitude and motivation), extrinsic factors (the role of parents and peers),determine the influence of factors of intrinsic and extrinsic factors in choosing theStudy Program of Family Welfare (Prodi PKK) Department of IKK FPP UNP.The research type is quantitative descriptive research. The population of thisresearch is students of PKK Study Program of FPP UNP Class of 2012-2016registered in semester of January-June 2017 as many as 211 people. Samplingtechnique using Stratified Random Sampling technique with a sample of 68people. Data collection with questionnaires using Likert scale and analyzed byregression. The results showed the interest of students in the high category(79.65%), the intrinsic factor (aptitude and motivation) high category (80.56%)where talent is very high category (85.18%) and motivation high category(74.22%). Extrinsic factors (the role of parents and peers) very high category(81.32%), where the indicator role of parents is very high category (88.26%) andpeer high category (74.38). Based on the F test the intrinsic factors (talent andmotivation) and extrinsic factors (the role of parents and peers) give effect of33.1%. Persisally (t test) intrinsic factor (talent and motivation) influenced studentinterest 27,7% with 25% talent and motivation 9.4%. Extrinsic factors (the role ofparents and peers) affect student interest 19.5% with details of the role of parents13.9% and peers 11.8%. So the biggest factor influencing the student's interest inchoosing the PKK Study Program of IKK FPP UNP is the intrinsic factor of talentand motivation.Keywords: Talent, motivation, parent's role, peers, Interests
