Abstract

Indonesia places the third rank regarding tuberculosis cases in the world after India and China. Based on the result of a prevalence survey of Lung Tuberculosis in 2004, a national average prevalence rate of tuberculosis was 0.107%. Data of tuberculosis cases per 10.000 at Banyumas District Health Office from year 2003 until year 2005 consecutively were 1.1 in 2003, 3.7 in 2004, and 3.9 in 2005. Therefore, there needs to make a trend of a tuberculosis occurrence in order to improve the tuberclosis intervention program based on the real database. The objective of this research was to describe the occurrence of tuberculosis in Banyumas District from year until year 2008. Secondary data were obtained from Banyumas District Health Office. The result of this research showed that a number of clinical tuberculosis case in Banyumas District from year 2004 until year 2008 decreased, number of positive BTA cases increased, all cases of positive BTA had been treated, and part of cases had not been healed yet. The tuberculosis case in Banyumas District was an important health problem from year 2004 until year 2008. This condition was proved by data regarding positive BTA tuberculosis as a source of a transmission. The average of Case Detection Rate in Banyumas District was about 40-50% that was lower than the average of National Case Detection Rate (70%). Otherwise, Cure Rate was good enough (85%). As a suggestion, Head of Banyumas District Health Office and Health Centers should find a tuberculosis case both actively and passively and should increase cure rate through monitoring a behavior of drinking medicine on sufferers’ group

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi pada saat ini merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mendukung efektivitas dan efisiensi kinerja bagi suatu organisasi. Globalisasi dunia pendidikan menuntut perguruan tinggi untuk dapat mengelola informasi dengan baik, sehingga kebutuhan informasi masing–masing pihak yang berkepentingan dapat terpenuhi dengan cepat dan tepat. Salah satu sistem informasi yang ada di perguruan tinggi adalah sistem informasi akademik. Perguruan tinggi dituntut membangun sistem informasi akademik (SIA) yang mengintegrasikan dari semua aktivitas-aktivitas akademik, dan menyediakan informasi yang berguna bagi stakeholder. Dalam manajemen dan perencanaan sudah menjadi suatu keharusan bahwa evaluasi merupakan tonggak (milestone) dari suatu pengembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui evaluasi sistem informasi akademik di jurusan kesehatan masyarakat FIKES UNSOED berdasarkan pada kinerja/performance, informasi/data, ekonomi, keamanan/control, efisiensi, dan pelayanan/service (PIECES) dari Sistem Informasi Akademik. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kinerja SIA adalah baik (70,5%); informasi SIA adalah baik (55,3%); nilai ekonomi SIA adalah baik (83,5%); keamanan SIA adalah baik (84,7%); efisiensi SIA adalah baik (51,8%); pelayanan SIA adalah baik (77,6%).

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Air yang dikonsumsi harus terbebas dari bahan kimia berbahaya dan beracun. Hasil uji pendahuluan menunjukkan kadar Fe air sumur sebesar 5,25 mg/L. Air sumur yang mengandung Fe harus diolah menggunakan zeolit dan arang aktif untuk menurunkan kadar Fe. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas variasi ukuran arang aktif dan zeolit terhadap penurunan kadar Fe air sumur di Desa Kebasen. Metodologi : Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment, pretest posttest control group design dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Sampel penelitian berjumlah 56 sampel air sumur yang mengandung Fe ˃ 1 mg/L yang dipilih dengan metode random sampling. Perlakuan penelitian ini menggunakan arang aktif dan zeolit ukuran 80, 100, dan 120 mesh dengan 4 kali pengulangan untuk masing-masing perlakuan. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dengan Saphiro Wilk, uji Kruskal Wallis dan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil Penelitian : Ada perbedaan rata-rata kadar Fe sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan menggunakan arang aktif ukuran 80, 100, dan 120 mesh. Ada perbedaan rata-rata kadar Fe sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan menggunakan zeolit ukuran 80, 100, dan 120 mesh. Kesimpulan : Zeolit ukuran 100 mesh adalah media yang paling efektif menurunkan kadar Fe air sumur di Desa Kebasen yaitu sebesar 93,86%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the content that contained in Donan River is known as a lead (Pb). Lead that contained in the water will accumulate in the body of water organisme, one of which is the body shells (Polymesoda erosa). This type of research is a descriptive study and use the test "one sample t test". Based on the results of research on three stations in the River Donan is in the vicinity of Tritih Kulon, around the industrial area and around the Port Crossing Sleko, indicate that the sample (Polymesoda erosa) examined showed a significant difference to the standard used, SNI No. 7387 Year of 2009. The results of analysis using the "one-sample t test" indicates p value at stations I is 0,028, station II is 0,031 and 0,034 for station III, where a significance value less than 0,05 which indicates there is a significant difference between Pb content in the body of shells in River Donan with standard that used. The results of the calculation of the rate of consumption is safe for the shellfish mussel in the River Donan at station I that is equal to 0.00372 kg/day, the station II of 0.00367 kg/day and station III of 0.0037 kg/day. For the public should not consume mussel shells (Polymesoda erosa) from River Donan Cilacap in quantities of more than 0.004 grams/day to avoid the accumulation of Pb in the body. Abstract

A number of smokers in Indonesia place the third rank in the world. More than 60 million Indonesian people are a smoker. A death case due to a disease related to cigarette is about 427.948 persons every year or equal to 1.172 persons/day. The objective of this research was to describe a student’s understanding about smoking activity and negative effects for both public and environmental health. This study was observational research with cross-sectional approach. Population was all students at Public Health Department of Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto with the following inclusion criteria: 1) Students who entered university from 2007 to 2009; 2) Male; 3) Students were still active attending lectures. Number of sample was seventy-six persons. The result of this research shows that most of the respondents have understood in terms of the negative effects of smoking for both public and environmental health even though some of them (28.95%) were a smoker. This research concludes that theoretically, they understand about the negative effects of smoking for health although some of them are a smoker. As a suggestion, students should make cooperation with Non-Government Organization (NGO) to advocate a local government in order to implement a regulation of a smoking ban. Abstract

The study of macrozoobenthos diversity in Way Sindalapai River can be used as one of the basic concepts in sustainable resource management in Liwa Botanical Garden area. Macrozoobenthos has an important role in the aquatic ecosystem, such as a food source for aquatic biota and as a detritivore. This study aims to determine the diversity of macrozoobenthos based on different sediment substrates in Way Sindalapai River, Liwa Botanical Garden, West Lampung. This study uses a purposive sampling method based on differences in the sediment substrates: muddy, sandy, rocky, and scrub with 3 replications. Sampling was carried out using a stratified filter and tweezers to separate the organism from the substrate. Samples were preserved in 70% alcohol and were identified by identification books at the Ecology Laboratory, FMIPA Universitas Lampung. The results of the study found 10 macrozoobenthos orders with a total of 155 individuals included in 13 families. The results of the calculation of diversity index values (H ') macrozoobenthos for all types of 2.26 (medium category). The highest macrozoobenthos dominance index (D) of the four substrates is in the rocky substrate that is 0.41 (low category). While the evenness index value (E) of macrozoobenthos in the Sindalapai Way River was 0.44 (medium category).

Abstract

Diversity is a variety of species that are similarly formed and the abundance of a species. The purpose of this study is to determine the diversity and characteristics of herbaceous plants in Sumber Agung Resort Bandar Lampung Wan Abdul Rachman (WAR) forest park. The method used is a purposive sampling method at several points, done by direct observation using the Belt Transect method with plot size 1x1 m² with a distance between plot 100 m² then the picture of herbaceous plants taken as documentation material. The species is then taken for identification regarding some literature. Data analysis by measuring the parameters of vegetation using the analysis of density and frequency variables which then determine the Importance Value Index (INP). Observation of herbaceous plants was done by identifying and making herbarium. The results of the study are, there are 45 species of herbaceous plants that have been identified, consisting of 22 families. The highest density of herbaceous species that are found belongs to Asteraceae, Solanaceae, Araceae, Poaceae, Zingiberaceae, and Euphorbiaceae. Characteristics of herbaceous growth are influenced by air temperature, soil moisture, and soil pH. The highest Important Value Index (INP) in herbaceous plants belongs to Family Poaceae; Lophatherium gracile with an important value index (INP) 31.43%.

Abstract

Taman Hutan Raya Wan Abdul Rachman (Tahura WAR) is a protected forest area and habitat for various types of plants and animals. Tahura WAR is an area that has a high diversity of ferns, ferns are quite heterogeneous plants both in terms of habitat and way of life, ferns are one group of vascular plants that have a fairly high number of species, live in nature, some are attached to tree trunk (epiphyte) or grow on the ground. This research was carried out in the utilization block of Sumber Agung, which focused on fern species diversity, diversity, dominant species, and descriptions of types of ferns. This research was carried out by direct observation based on the existence of all types of ferns that are considered to represent the place. Based on observations in general, ferns are composed of 37 species, 28 genera, and 14 families. The highest number of ferns is Polypodiaceae with 8 species. With the Shannon-Wienner (H') diversity index of H’= 2.9. Type N. acutifolia dominates this research area with an INP value of 25.8%.

Ada dua kenyataan penting yang perlu disebutkan sebelurn basil penelitian ini disimpulkan serta diajukan saran-saran untuk rnenyusun kebijaksanaan yang akan datang. Pertama ialah bahwa penelitian ini dilakukan hanya pada heberapa proyek transmigrasi pada dua pulau luar Jawa, sehingga hanya menampilkan sebagian dari proyek-proyek yang diadakan selama periode Pelita Kedua, kebanyakan proses transmigrasi yang dibicarakan dalam karangan ini te]ah ditinjau kembali, sekurang-kurangnya dalam pernbahasannya, sehingga beberapa peng.amatan kami mengenai sarnpel para transmigran yang ada in: mungkin tidak tepat berlaku bagi para transmigran yang berpindah tempat pada tahun 1978. Abstract

Abstrak PO KRUI PUTRA adalah suatu perusahaan jasa transportasi pengangkutan penumpang yang berlokasi di daerah Krui kabupaten pesisir barat lampung. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah Proses dalam mendapatkan dan penyampaian informasi yang masih kurang mengenai pemesanan tiket kuota penumpang , tidak adanya sistem informasi secara on-line sehingga menyulitkan bagi calon penumpang untuk mendapatkan informasi, tidak terorganisir penyimpanan data pemesanan tiket dengan baik dan benar sehingga memungkinkan data-data tersebut akan hilang, Serta belum optimalnya sistem tiketing, dikarenakan masih diberlakukannya sistem tiketing manual dimana proses yang berjalan masih manual yaitu dengan mencatat pemesan. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah prosedur sistem berjalan, Use case diagram, aktiviti diagram, Clas diagram, sequence diagram, normalisasi, kamus data, struktur file, struktur menu, spesifikasi program design input dan output, design code. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasikan bahwa secara umum terjadinya permasalahan diatas adalah belum adanya aplikasi yang bisa memproses pemesanan. Oleh karena itu penulis mencoba memberikan solusi dengan merancang sebuah aplikasi yang berorientasi objek dimana proses informasi secara online yaitu dengan menggunakan android, dengan adanya sistem ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam pendokumentasian dan memberikan kemudahan dalam proses pemesanan secara efisiensi. Kata Kunci : Transportasi, Tiket, Pemesanan, Sistem, Informasi, Teknologi
