Abstract

This research aimed to find out the implementational role of Children Daycare Centre (TPA) as an intermediary in children care during parents absence due to work using descriptive qualitative method through interview on 27 informants. The result shows that there children daycare centre has siginificant role in childern parenting and education, due to children are left at the daycare are not only children are given basic but are also given learning which helps in their development. Furthermore, motivational factor of parents to leave their children in daycare centre (TPA) are also caused by lack of trust in using babysitter service, which leads parents to have confidence in children daycare centre (TPA); there is also need of parent to have their children be given education which will help children’s development and growth; daycare location which is close to home or working place; also affordable cost of daycare centre. However, during child parenting implementation at the daycare centre, educators face few problems such as directing children in care, miss communication with parents, also the lateness of parents in picking up their children. Nevertheless, children daycare centre has positive effects to both parents and children such as children are understands the importance in worshipping Allah SWT; children are more active and self-reliance; children are more social; and lastly children are taught to know the concept of letters, numbers, and colours.
