Abstract

The millennial generation is the continuation of the relay of national and state life. Welcoming Indonesia's golden 1st century of independence in 2045, the Indonesian nation needs a generation that is intellectually intelligent, skilled and has character. This paper aims to analyze the integration of character education through Islamic religious education at SMA Asy-Syafiiyah Medan. The background of this research shows that the age of the students studied is the millennial generation category. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a research background in SMA Asy-Syafiiyah Medan. Data were collected by means of observation, interview and documentation study techniques. The results of this study are the integration of character education through learning Islamic Religious Education effectively given to the millennial generation at SMA Asy-Syafiiah Medan, this is marked by 3 integral stages, namely (1) the planning stages, including the presentation of the integration of character education in the syllabus and learning curriculum. ; (2) the stages of implementation, including learning and school culture (climate); and (3) the third stage, namely evaluation. The evaluation in two steps, namely the evaluation of the process and results. Process evaluation is carried out in the learning process, while result evaluation is carried out at the end of the semester.

Abstract

Al-Thahthawi's educational thought was motivated by his existence as a reformer in Egypt at that time. Al-Thahthawi made updates on all fields in Egypt, and one of them was in the field of education. Education is carried out not only for men, but also for women. And this education is done not only to broaden knowledge, but also to instill personality and instill a spirit of patriotism. As for some of his thoughts. The purpose of education according to al-Thahthawi is for the formation of personality, not only, not only for intelligence. Thinking about the curriculum that in addition to religious studies should also include modern sciences so that they can adapt the Shari'a to the needs of their time.

Abstract

The development of technology that continues to grow makes it easier for everyone to learn. Likewise with learning the Quran especially memorizing the Quran. Busyness experienced is not a reason not to memorize the Qura. Various online tools and applications can be used to memorize the Quran, one of which is the tahfiz onlineprogram. Tahfiz Online is one of the means by which someone memorizes the Quran online by using whatsapp media. This study aims to describe the process of learning memorizing Quran which is carried out by the tahfiz online program which starts from the process of recruiting new students, the learning process, and evaluating the learning which is carried out by the Tahfiz Online program. The research method used is qualitative research with data collection methods of observation and interviews. The results of this study describe that new student recruitment activities carried out by the online tahfiz program are carried out with Alquran reading tests conducted by students by sending voice notes to the teacher (musyrif). Furthermore, in tahfiz learning activities, each student carries out two activities namely ziyadah (adding new memorize) and murajaah (repetition). Ziyadah activities are carried out every Monday to Friday by sending voice notes in the group that will be corrected by each musyrif. Whereas the deliberate activities carried out on Saturdays and Sundays are carried out in pairs. Evaluation of learning are carried out every week with aspects of assessment including daily memorization values, activeness in groups, etiquette, and ending with a final exam with the term IMTAK (Imtihan Akbar).

Abstract

Pesantren Nurul Quran is an Al-Quran boarding school devoted to students. To enter this pesantren, mahasantri candidates are required to go through recruitment stages including the Quran recitation test and interviews. Students who study at the pesantren consist of students of the Al-Quran Higher Education Institute (PTIQ) and also students of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University in Jakarta. This study aims to describe the implementation of tahfiz learning in Pesantren Nurul Quran. The research method in the research is qualitative descriptive with data analysis of Mile and Huberman models. The results of this study are: a) The method used in tahfiz learning is the method of talaqqi and takrir, b) Murajaah activity is carried out in four parts, namely personal murajaah, murajaah by guidance, murajaah in the tahajud, and murajaah weekly, c) Evaluation in tahfiz learning is done regularly on the last week of each month. While the difficulties faced by mahasantri in memorizing the Quran are a) the difficulty of memorizing new verses that are not understood in its meaning, b) Busyness in activities outside the pesantren, which is between preparing lectures and memorizing the Quran at the pesantren.

Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum hopes that learning will be carried out actively. One effort to activate student learning is by using a scientific approach. Conceptually, this scientific approach is expected to be effective in creating active and scientific students. But the concept is not in line with the phenomenon of learning practices in the field. Many of the students actually become stiff and have difficulty in following the learning path. This paper aims to find out: (1) Implementation of the scientific approach in Fikih learning in MTS. PAI Medan, (2) Problems in implementing the scientific approach to Fikih lessons in MTS. PAI Medan, (3) Solutions to the problems of the Scientific Approach in Fikih learning in MTS. PAI Medan. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a case study approach. The results showed that the implementation of the scientific approach was carried out through five teaching experiences namely observing, asking, gathering information, associating, and communicating. Problems in implementing the scientific approach First, the unfamiliarity of students in thinking scientifically. Second, student difficulties in reasoning information. Third, lack of learning facilities. Fourth, the lack of learning resources available in the library. Fifth, students lack courage. Sixth, the function of the teacher as a facilitator sometimes does not work. Seventh, students have difficulty communicating the results of their scientific activities. Eighth, the occurrence of knowledge gaps between students. The solution to overcome these problems is to provide additional knowledge through training, and form teacher working groups.

Abstract

The research aims to describe the skill of Islamic education student in developing learning and innovation skills of student through a scientific approach. This study used a qualitative method based on descriptive analytic. The subjects of this research were 20 Islamic education students of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University and North Sumatera State Islamic University who were carrying out practice of teaching in school. The subjects were chosen based on the the purpose of this study, thus the subjects were only students who used a scientific approach. Data collection is done by using interviews, observation, and study documentation. The study was conducted in July to October 2019. The results of this study showed that the ability of Islamic education students to observing aspects 80.63%, questioning aspects 75%, information gathering aspects (experimenting) 65%, reasoning/ associating aspects 78%, and communicating (comunicating) aspects 51.67% . Furthermore, in the average, the overall learning activity was carried out by islamic education teacher prospective students in developing learning and innovation skills with a scientific approach of 70.06% was achieved in a good category.

Abstract

During the Covid 19 pandemic, this is an opportunity for every parent to build closeness and instill the values of Islamic education in their children. Routine work that is usually carried out in the office, transferred to home or work from home. Parents' activities at home should be used to actualize Islamic education that parents have neglected or have not implemented. This study aims to describe the actualization of Islamic education carried out by parents in the family environment during the pandemic. The research method used is qualitative. The data collection method using questionnaires and interviews. This research is focused on three scopes of Islamic education, namely faith education, worship education, and moral education. The results of the study are that in actualizing Islamic education in the family environment there are several activities carried out by parents. To actualize Islamic education in the aspect of faith education, parents carry out several activities, namely dialogue, instilling a muraqabah attitude, getting used to thayyibah sentences, telling stories of friends, and seeing the universe. In the aspect of worship education, the activities carried out are inviting children to read the Qur'an, inviting children to pray 5 times a day on time, getting used to giving alms, and setting an example. While in the aspect of moral education, the activities carried out by parents are getting children to say greetings, getting children to speak politely, reprimanding and giving advice when children say dirty words, and getting children to eat with good eating manners, and providing examples

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kontribusi Pengajian Al-Hidayah dalam meningkatkan iman dan imun umat pada masa pandemi Covid 19. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengajian Al-Hidayah memiliki kontribusi yang sangat signifikan pada masa pandemi baik dalam meningkatkan iman dan imun umat. Pada sisi peningkatan iman, pengajian Al-Hidayah melakukan berbagai kegiatan keagamaan berupa webinar-webinar yang berisi tentang sikap seorang dalam menghadapi pandemi. Hal ini berdampak pada kekuatan iman umat agar mampu menyikapi kondisi pandemi dengan ikhtiar dan menguatkan keimanan kepada Allah SWT. Sedangkan pada sisi peningkatan imun, pengajian Al-Hidayah telah melakukan berbagai kegiatan di antaranya: a) membuat sosialisasi untuk menaati protokol kesehatan berupa membuat surat edaran kepada seluruh anggota pengajian Al-Hidayah, b) membagikan masker dan sanitizer kepada masyarakat, dan c) memberikan sembako kepada masyarakat yang terdampak pandemi Covid 19.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Kreativitas guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar pada mata pelajaran matematika di MIS Yapni Tanjung morawa Kabupaten deli serdang. Yang dilatar belakangi bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelejaran Matematika cukup memprihatinkan dan kegiatan pembelajaran yang berlangsung dikelas tatap muka terbatas pada kegiatan menyimak dan berceramah saja. Padahal, tuntutan kurikulum kemampuan yang hendak dicapai adalah berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriftif. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, wali kelas dan siswa.teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi, sedangkan penyajian keabsahan data dilakukan dengan memfokuskan pada hal – hal yang menjadi pokok bahasan, analisis dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitiaan ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) keterampilan guru sudah mulai berkembang untuk menerapkan kreativitas dalam pembelajaran sudah cukup baik. Guru sudah menerapkan berbagai metode yang bervariasi agar siswa dalam belajar mudah memhami dan berkurangnya kesulitan belajar pada siswa. 2) penerapan kreativitas guru sudah sangat dilakukan guru untuk membuat siswa nyaman belajar dan memhami pembelajaran dengan baik dengan menerapkan berbagai media atau metode untuk mengembangkan kreativitas bagi seorang guru. 3) adapun kendala yang dihadapi guru saat diterapkannya kreativitas belajar dalam mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran yaitu cakupan tentang sarana dan prasarana sekolah yang kurang mendukung agar berjalan baik.salahsatunya adalah kurangnya alat atau pun media belajar yang disediakan oleh pihak sekolah untuk menunjang pembelajaran tersebut.Kata kunci : Kreativitas Guru, Kesulitan Belajar, Pembelajaran Matematika.

Abstract

Nowadays, most campuses use the internet for their learning process. Students may search the Internet for literature or information related to the lectures. This phenomenon has an impact on students' behavior in studying religion through the Internet. This phenomenon raises worries because not a few students surf in cyberspace and try to look for information related to religious issues without any further explanation. Furthermore, they did not check the validity of the information. This paper aims to describe and analyze students’ ability in religious digital literacy. The sources come from Islamic religious students at some State Islamic University under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This is mix-method research with explanatory sequential. In collecting data, the researcher used questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques were performed with descriptive quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. This research shows that from eight components of digital literacy, including components of functional skills and beyond ability students of Islamic religious education in the "excellent" category, the component of creativity in the "good" category, components of collaboration in the "good" category, components effective communication in the "good" category, components the ability to find and select information in the "good" category, components of critical thinking and evaluation in the "good" category, components of cultural and social understanding in the "good" category, and components e-safety in "good" category. The kindly whole from every component from such digital literacy, then religious digital literacy of students of Islamic religious education is at an interval value of 4.0 who enter in the "good" category.
