Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of betel leaf extract (P. betle) as an anti-fungal against carp hatchery (O. gouramy) were maintained in a controlled manner inside the aquarium. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of the University of Edinburgh Batang.Eggs test used in this study is gurami roe (O. gouramy) obtained from BBAT River Glam of 1200 eggs with a dense spreading 100 rounds / platform. Containers used in immersion using toples volume of 1 liter of water for 20 minutes, then transferred into an aquarium measuring 30x30x60 cm by 12, filled with water of 20 liters / container and each is equipped with aeration and water heater.Program used was Randomized Lengakap (CRD) with 4 treatments with the provision of betel leaf extract with a concentration of 0 ml, 1.25 ml, 1.50 ml, and 1.75 ml each with three replications. Parameters analyzed are hatching eggs and larvae survival. Results were analyzed with the fingerprint modes, then proceed with further test of Duncan (DNMRT) at the 5% level.From the analysis of variance showed that the difference soaking with betel leaf extract showed a significant influence on the success of hatching eggs and live kelansungan carp larvae (O. gouramy). From the results of research conducted showed that showed that treatment with a concentration of 1.50 ml / l gives results very optimal for egg hatching success was 84.33%, while the survival of larvae was 83.67%.Keyword :  effectiveness, betel leaf extract, fish hatchery

Abstract

This research aims to know the effectiveness of turmeric extract (c. domestical) as anti-bacterial tetas power against egg fish gourami (o. gouramy) maintained in controlled inside the Aquarium. This research was carried out in the installation of ornamental fish Orchid Garden, Jambi.Egg test used in this research is egg fish gourami (o. gouramy) obtained from BBAT Gelam River as much as 1200 eggs with dense stocking 100 rounds/container. The containers used in the immersion uses the jar with a volume of 1 liter of water for 20 minutes, then moved into an aquarium sized 50x40x40 cm as many as 12 fruit, filled water as much as 20 litres/containers and each equipped with aeration and water heater.The design used was Complete Random Design (RAL) with 4 treatment with turmeric extract is concentration of awarding 0 ml/l, 5 ml/l, 10 l, and ml/15 ml/l each with three times in Deuteronomy. The parameters observed were power tetas egg and Larval survival. The results were analyzed with the prints, then proceed with test Duncan (DNMRT) at the 5% level.From the results of the analysis of differences range shows that yout soaking with turmeric extract shows the influence of the very real power of success against tetas egg and Larval survival of fish gourami (o. gouramy). From the results of research conducted showed that treatment with 10 ml/l concentration gave results that are highly optimized for a successful power 75% of eggs tetas whereas larval survival of 75%.Keyword : test the effectiveness of turmeric extract, eggs, fish gourami

Abstract

This experiment aims to study the response of carp (Ospronemus gouramy Lac.) Mean ± 13 grams of cassava leaves early against granting soaked (B), boiled (C), fermented (D), and natural cassava leaves (as a control) were be rearing in semi indorHaving analyzed with ANOVA and LSD (Least Significant Difference) results showed that the highest growth resulting from the treatment of fermented (D) is equal to 30.73 grams and growth absolut 20.67 grams for 40 days were significantly different (P <0, 5). While the survival of the fish ranged 80.00% -93.33% and the best level in feed fermented cassava leaves 93.33%.Kata kunci: Daun singkong, Fermentasi dan ikan Gurami

Abstract

Betok fish (Anabas testudineus, Bloch) is a local freshwater fish that has high economic value and is loved by the community, but has not been widely cultivated, because the betok fish have not been bred so that fish production still relies on catches from nature. The potential for betok fish to become consumption fish and ornamental fish is accompanied by increasing market demand for Violita et al (2019). This study aims to determine the effect of the effectiveness of the broiler's pituitary gland on the ovulatory response of betok fish (A. testudeineus, Bloch) by using a hormone extract from the broiler's pituitary gland. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Where each treatment was given an injection dose: Treatment A: Hypophysis Broiler Chicken 0.2 ml/kg. Treatment B : Hypophysis of Broiler Chicken 0.4 ml/kg. C : Hypophysis Broiler Chicken 0.6 ml/kg. Treatment D : Control. Parameters Observed Ovulation Latency Time, fecundity. Research shows that the average latency time is 8.07 hours. 6518 items.

Abstract

AbstractThe feed as a source of energy for the growth of fish is a component of the most important costs 40-89% and the quality should be good. The solution is through research. Research in the form of meal cassava leaves (Monihot utilissima) parents as a source of alternative protein substitute for fish meal in feed formulation catfish (Clarias gariepinus). The design used Complete Random Design with 4 treatments and 3 repetitions. The results showed that for the growth and the survival between treatments were not significant (P <0.5), meaning that all treatments were no differences can be categorized and feed ingredients of flour cassava leaves can replace most of the presence of meal fish  in fish feed formulas African catfish. Growth of the best catfish are on treatment A (55% meal cassava leaf: 00% fish meal) with daily growth of 8.27 grams was 2.61% and the B (40%% meal cassava leaves: 15% meal fish) 5.28 gram with daily growth is 1.86%, followed by C (15%%  meal cassava leaves: 15% meal fish ) 1:51% and D (0% meal cassava leaves : 55% meal fish ) 1:33%. Catfish survival rate was not significant (P <0.5), and relatively equally well A (96.17%), B (94.77) and C (95.92) and the best in treatment for D (96.37 ). As users are advised to wear formulations in treatment B (40% meal fish and 15%  meal cassava leaves old). Keywords: Catfish, Ffeed, Meal fish, Meal cassava leaves AbstrakPakan sebagai sumber energi bagi pertumbuhan ikan  merupakan komponen biaya yang paling besar 40-89%  dan kualitasnya harus baik. Solusinya melalui penelitian. Penelitian berupa tepung daun  singkong (Monihot utilissima) tua sebagai sumber protein alternatif penganti tepung ikan dalam formulasi pakan ikan lele (Clarias gariepinus). Rancangan digunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa untuk pertumbuhan dan kelulusan hidup antar perlakuan tidak signifikan (P < 0,5), artinya semua perlakuan  tidak ada perbedaan dan dapat dikatagorikan bahan pakan dari tepung daun singkong dapat mengantikan sebagian keberadaan tepung ikan dalam formula pakan ikan lele dumbo. Pertumbuhan ikan lele terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan A (55% tepung daun singkong : 00% tepung ikan) 8,27 gram dengan pertumbuhan harian adalah 2.61% dan  pada B (40%  % tepung daun singkong : 15% tepung ikan) 5,28 gram dengan pertumbuhan harian adalah 1.86%, diikuti C (15% % tepung daun singkong :15% tepung ikan) 1.51% dan D (0 % tepung daun singkong : 55% tepung ikan) 1.33%. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup ikan lele tidak signifikan (P < 0,5), dan  relatif sama baiknya A (96,17%), B (94,77) dan C (95,92) dan terbaik pada perlakuan untuk D (96,37). Sebagai pengguna disarankan memakai formulasi pada perlakuan B (40% Tepung ikan dan 15% tepung daun singkong tua). Kata kunci: Ikan lele, Pakan, Tepung ikan, Tepung  Daun Singkong Tua

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know correlation the optimum fish and plant density of water for the maintenance of fish catfish (P. hypophthalmus) on akuaponik system in order to produce a high fish survival. As for the benefits of this activity is to improve the production results mainly from the fishery commodity fish catfish (P. hypophthalmus). This research plan will be implemented in February and July of 2019 in the porch Area Fish Seed Telanaipura the Province of Jambi. Research conducted using Randomized Block Design (RAK) wiyh four (4) treatment and three replicates, each treatment are : A treatment : 5 bar/hole, B treatment : 10 bar/hole, C treatment : 15 bar/hole, D treatment : 20 bar/hole. The research of the parameters observed were : survival rates of fish and water quality.

Abstract

AbstractIrrigation systemis majority use for agricultural activies but actually the case is also can be use for fish farming.  One variety of this potential fish farming is “lele sangkuriang” (Clarias gariepinus Var Sangkuriang). “Lele Sangkuriang” is a freshwater fish which pleasurely lives in rapids water. The ideal condition to live for this variety is pH 6,5-9 of acidity and 24oC – 26oC.  The excess of O2 contain will causevesicle fenomena  in it body tissue and sudden deceasing of O2 on the contrary, will cause death. Recirculation system is one of the way to improve the water quality.support O2 distriution all around and accumulation maintaining or collecting  the poison metabolic product so that it can reduce the media poison concentration. These are suh the bakground for us to conduct irrigation canals useness for “lele sangkuriang” fish farming, using the recirculation system. The great benefit  for all society of  Pudak village, Muaro Kumpe district, muaro Jambi Regency can be expectifly reach.Keywords: irrigation canals, lele sangkuriang fish, recirculation system AbstrakSaluran irigasi lebih banyak dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan pertanian, padahal justru potensi budidaya ikan sangat besar. Salah satu potensi tersebut adalah budidaya ikan lele sangkuriang.  Ikan lele sangkuriang (C. gariepinus. Var. sangkuriang) termasuk ikan air tawar yang menyukai genangan air yang tidak tenang. Di sungai-sungai, ikan ini lebih banyak dijumpai di tempat-tempat yang aliran airnya tidak terlalu deras. Kondisi yang ideal bagi kehidupan lele sangkuriang adalah air yang mempunyai pH 6,5-9 dan bersuhu 240 – 260C. Kandungan O2 yang terlalu tinggi akan menyebabkan timbulnya gelembung-gelembung dalam jaringan tubuhnya. Sebaliknya penurunan kandungan O2 secara tiba-tiba, dapat menyebabkan kematiannya. Sistem  resirkulasi  merupakan  salah  satu cara  untuk memperbaiki  kualitas  air, membantu distribusi oksigen ke segala arah, dan  dapat menjaga akumulasi atau mengumpulnya hasil metabolisme  beracun  sehingga  kadar atau daya racun dapat dikurangi dalam media  pemeliharaan Untuk itulah maka kami membuat kegiatan pemanfaatan saluran irigasi untuk budidaya ikan lele sangkuring (C. gariepinus. Var. sangkuriang) menggunakan sistem resirkulasi dengan harapan kegiatan ini dapat memberikan manfaat kepada masyarakat Desa Pudak Kecamatan Muaro Kumpeh Kabupaten Muaro Jambi.Kata kunci : saluran irigasi, ikan lele sangkuriang, sistem resirkulasi

Abstract

The waste generated in fish farming can be utilized by plants as a source of nutrition by integrating it through the aquaponic system. This study aims to determine the optimum density of catfish maintained on the aquaponic system in producing the best growth. The fish used in this study are catfish (Pangasianodon hypopthalmus F) while the plants used are kale which act as biofilter. This study used RAL with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Where treatment A (2 tail / liter); B (3 tail / liter); C (4 tail / liter); and D (5 tail / liter). From result of research indicate that at treatment B yield best growth that is equal to 2,80 gr at end of research.Keywords: Aquaponic system, catfish, biofilterLimbah yang dihasilkan dalam budidaya ikan dapat dimanfaatkan oleh tanaman sebagai sumber nutrisi dengan mengintegrasikannya melalui sistem akuaponik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kepadatan optimum ikan patin siam yang dipelihara pada sistem akuaponik dalam menghasilkan pertumbuhan terbaik. Ikan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah ikan patin siam (Pangasianodon hypopthalmus F) sedangkan tanaman yang digunakan adalah kangkung yang berperan sebagai biofilter. Penelitian ini menggunakan RAL dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Dimana perlakuan A (2 ekor/liter); B (3 ekor/liter); C (4 ekor/liter); dan D (5 ekor/liter). Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada perlakuan B menghasilkan pertumbuhan terbaik yaitu sebesar 2,80 gr pada akhir penelitian.Kata kunci : Sistem akuaponik, ikan patin siam, biofilter

Abstract

AbstractBaung fish is an endogenous fish of Indonesia. This is a fresh water fish. One of those effort to anticipate the decrease of the aquaculture product itself is  to develop the aquaculture sustainability. The problem of hatching baung fish larvae are the low survival rate and the growth of larvae in high density farmed. Therefore, it needs a study about stock density of baung fish baung fish juvenile.  This study used Random Design analysis with different treatment of stocking density, they were 10 fishes/L (treatment A), 15 fishes/L (Treatment B), 20 fishes/L (Treatment C), and 25 fishes/L (Treatment D). The result showed that the different stocking density was affected the survival rate and the growth of Baung fish.  Keywords : Baung Fish, Stocking density, Survival rate, Growth. AbstrakIkan baung (Mystus numerus) adalah ikan asli Indonesia. Ikan ini banyak hidup di air tawar. Salah satu upaya pengembangan usaha perikanan dalam mengantisipasi penurunan hasil tangkapan dari perairan umum adalah melakukan pengembangan usaha budidaya perikanan secara berkesinambungan. Salah satu kendala dalam pembenihan ikan baung adalah rendahnya tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan larva pada pemeliharaan dengan padat tebar yang tinggi dalam wadah terkontrol. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan penelitian tentang padat tebar pemeliharaan benih ikan baung. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan perlakuan padat penebaran yang berbeda yaitu 10 ekor/Liter air (Perlakuan A) , 15 ekor/liter air (Perlakuan B), 20 ekor/liter air (Peerlakuan C) dan 25 ekor/liter air (Perlakuan D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa padat penebaran yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan benih ikan baung. Kata kunci : Ikan Baung, padat penebaran

Abstract

Suhu merupakan salah satu kualitas air yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan ikan, menentukan pertumbuhan, Suhu sangat erat kaitannya dengan pertumbuhan melalui metabolisme yang terus berinteraksi dan diduga akan terus terjadi selama pemeliharaan, dan fase larva merupakan masa yang paling kritis selama masa kehidupan ikan. Dalam upaya pemeliharaan, tingkat pertumbuhan larva yang dihasilkan menjadi faktor penting, sebagai penunjang keberhasilan produksi  hingga mencapai fase selanjutnya. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengetahui tingkat pertumbuhan secara spesifik (SGR) larva ikan botia (Chromobotia macrachantus) dilakukan penelitian mengenai suhu optimal dengan suhu perlakuan 240C, 260C, 280C dan 300C. Parameter kualitas air yaitu CO2, NH3 , DO, dan pH dilakukan pada awal dan akhir penelitian yang dilakukan selama 28 hari. Hasil penelitian perlakuan B (suhu 26oC) sebesar 4.74%. Kualiltas air hasil penelitian meliputi CO2 sebesar 0.7338 mg/L, NH3 sebesar 0.0018 mg/L, DO sebesar 6.4 mg/L dan pH air sebesar 6.68.
