Abstract

AbstractThe results of research using descriptive analysis shows that the agricultural extension program in Medan Krio Kecamatan Sunggal BPP is Legowo 4:1 cropping system, establishment of Gapoktan, Integrated Crop Management Field School (SLPTT), RDKK Subsidized Fertilizer and Agribusiness Program Rural (PUAP). While the research results obtained using multiple linear regression that simultaneously socioeconomic factors, education, experience, area and number of dependents are able to explain changes in income of paddy farmers at 99%. Partial factors of education and area of land affected by the real-value t count> t-table and the experience factor and the number of dependents does not affect real with t-values calculated <t-table on the  income of paddy farmers at 95% confidence level (a=5%). Abstract

AbstractThis study to determine the growth response of several types of clones of cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) with an organic fertilizer in polybag. The design used was Randomized Design Group factorial with two factors were studied, namely: organic fertilizer factor which is denoted by the letter "O" and the stage is divided into 3 = without giving Oo, O1 = Amazing Bio Fertilizer Growth (ABG) and O2 = Super Bionic Fertilizer and Cocoa varieties factor denoted by the letter "K" is divided into three types: TSH 858 = K1, K2 = K3 = RCC 70 and PA 300. Organic fertilizer as the first factor and the varieties of cocoa as a second factor, while the parameters measured were plant height (cm), number of leaves (pieces), stem diameter (mm), leaf area (cm), root wet weight (g), weight wet bars (g), root dry weight (g), stem dry weight (g) and root volume (cc).Keywords:organic fertilizer, clone, cocoa, polybag

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan limbah organik dan mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kacang hijau. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2016 sampai bulan Desember 2016 di Lahan Pertanian Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) Sampali. Penelitian ini menggunakan  Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK)  faktorial dengan 3 ulangan dan terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan, yaitu : Pemberian Kompos bunga jantan kelapa sawit (K) dengan 4 taraf, yaitu :  K0 : Kontrol, K1 : 75 g/Plot, K2 :150 g/Plot, K3 : 225 g/Plot dan pemberian Pupuk Urin Kelinci (U) dengan 3 taraf, yaitu : U0  : Kontrol, U1: 20 ml/tanaman, U2 : 40 ml/tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Kompos bunga jantan kelapa sawit pada tanaman kacang hijau memberikan pengaruh yang nyata pada beberapa parameter pengamatan yaitu jumlah polong perplot, berat polong pertanaman, berat polong perplot, berat biji kering pertanaman, berat biji kering perplot, namun tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, umur berbunga dan berat 100 biji kering. Selanjutnya, pemberian urin kelinci dan interaksi kedua perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua peubah amatan.Kata Kunci : Kompos,  Urin kelinci, Pertumbuhan, Produksi, Kacang Hijau

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of shallots extract and coconut water as well as the interaction between shallots extract and coconut water on the growth jasmine plant by using  randomized design group with two factors studied namely : coconut water (A) which consist of four standard that A0 = without giving, A1 = concentration 20% (200 cc/l), A2 = concentration 25 % (250 cc/l), A3 = concentration 30 % (300 cc/l) while shallots extract (B) which consist of four standard that B0 = without giving, A1 = concentration 0,5 % (5 cc/l), A2 = concentration 1 % (10 cc/l), A3 = concentration 1,5 % (15 cc/l). coconut water as the first factor and shallots extract as a second factor.Key words : growth, jasmine, coconut water, shallots extract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth response of some kind of clone of cocoa ( Theobroma cacao L. ) with an organic fertilizer in a polybag with using randomized block design (RBD ) factorial with 2 factors studied , namely : The first factor is Organic Fertilizer ( O ) divided into 3 levels ie O0 = Without Giving , O1 = Amazing Bio Fertilizer Growth ( ABG ) and O2 = Fertilizer Super Bionic , and the second factor varieties Cocoa ( K ) is divided into three types namely TSH K1 = 858 , K2 = 70 and K3 = RCC PA 300 . While the parameters measured were plant height ( cm ) , number of leaves ( blade ) , stem diameter ( mm ) , leaf area ( cm ) , root fresh weight ( g ) , stem fresh weight ( g ) , root dry weight ( g ) , stem dry weight ( g ) and root volume ( cc ) . The results showed that the use of organic fertilizers provide a significant effect on the parameters of plant height , leaf number , stem diameter , leaf area , stem fresh weight , and root volume and provide no real influence on the parameters of the wet weight of the rod . Treatment varieties only significant effect on plant height parameters , and no real influence on the other parameters .While the interaction of treatment showed a marked influence on the parameters for a high cocoa seedlings and other parameters showed no real difference.Key wordas : organic fertilizer, growth, cocoa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi dan interval pemberian monosodium glutamat (MSG) serta interaksi terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao. Penelitian dilaksanakan diJl. Tuar No.65 Kecamatan Medan Amplas, Medan dengan ketinggian tempat + 27 mdpl pada bulan Januari sampai dengan April 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 faktor, faktor pertama Aplikasi pemberian Monosodium Glutamat (MSG)  dengan 4 taraf yaitu: M0 = Tanpa pemberian (Kontrol), M1 = 2 g/liter air, M0 = 4 g/liter air, M0 = 6 g/liter air dan faktor kedua interval pemberian Monosodium Glutamat (MSG)   dengan 3 taraf yaitu : A1 = 4 hari sekali, A2 = 8 hari aplikasi, A3 = 12 hari sekali. Terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang 3 kali menghasilkan 36 satuan percobaan, jumlah tanaman per plot 4 tanaman dengan 3 tanaman sample, jumlah tanaman seluruhnya 144 tanaman dengan jumlah sampel seluruhnya 108 tanaman. Parameter yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), luas daun (cm2), diameter batang (cm), berat basah bagian atas (g), berat basah bagian bawah (g), berat kering bagian atas (g), dan berat kering bagian bawah (g). pengaruh aplikasi pemberian monosodium glutamat (MSG) memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap parameter diameter batang, berat basah bagian bawah tanaman, berat kering bagian atas tanaman. Perlakuan terbaik pengaruh aplikasi pemberian monosodium glutamat (MSG) adalah 6 g/liter air. sedangkan pada faktor interval pemberian monosodium glutamat (MSG) memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap parameter jumlah daun. Perlakuan terbaik interval pemberian monosodium glutamat (MSG) adalah 12 hari sekali. Interaksi aplikasi dan interval pemberian monosodium glutamat (MSG) berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua parameter.

Abstract

This study was aim to to analyze Consumer perception in Medan against local and import fruits as well as any factors affecting consumer products to purchase local and import fruits. Some 350 respondents were interviewed using a questionnaire. The data is obtained has been analyzed using descriptive analysis, perception analysis, factor analysis and test data quality. The descriptive analysis shows that the majority of respondents were aged 17-24 years, male 72,9%, college students and recent high school education 93,4 %. In the analysis of the perception there are 350 respondents who answered the questionnaire returns and then there were 263 respondents to know when to ask Do you know about the local fruits on the market, while 87 respondents have heard and know little. Ther are 350 respondents who answered the questionnaire returns and there were 186 respondents who answered knew when asked Do you know about fruit imports in the market. The remaining 162 respondents had heard of but knew little and 2 respondents claimed not to know. For the factor analysis KMO test value obtained for 0.746 (great for the meticulous sampling), commonality 0.384 to 0.770 and total variance is 46,986 percent. In the quality test data on the reliability of the test can be of value for Cronbach's Alpha based on standardized items 0.782 is greater than the basic standard Cronbach's Alpha 0.756 which can be deduced that the grains realibel questions.Keywords: Perception, Local, Import, Fruit, Medan

Abstract

The aims of this study was to evaluate the response of growth and yield of green bean (Vigna radiata L.) against solid organic fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer. The design used was a factorial randomized block design (RAK-F) with the two factors studied, namely: Factor Nafos Guano organic fertilizer dense (N) consists of 4 levels of treatment that is N0 = without giving,    N1 = 16,88 g / plot (75 kg / ha), N2 = 33,75 g / plot (150 kg / ha) and N3 = 50,63 g / plot (225 kg / ha). Factors Supermes liquid organic fertilizer (S) comprises 3 levels of treatment that is  S0 = without giving, S1 = 1,5 cc / liter of water and S2 = 3 cc / liter of water. The parameters measured were plant height, number of branches, days to flowering, pod weight per plant, weight of pods per plot, seed weight per plot and weight of 100 seeds. The results showed that administration of solid organic fertilizer significantly affect the parameters of plant height, weight of pods per plant and 100 seed weight. Dose of the best applications that N3 = 50,63 g / plot     (225 kg / ha). Liquid organic fertilizer significantly affect the parameters of plant height, days to flowering and pod weight per plant. Dose of the best applications that S2 = 3 cc / liter of water. The interaction between organic fertilizer liquid organic fertilizer dense and not a real effect on all parameters measured. Green bean crop production due to solid organic fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer is as much as 9427.63 g (1.16 tonnes / ha). Keywords: green beans, nafos guano and supermes

Abstract

AbstractThis study was aimed to determine the level of understanding and caring campus community towards environmentally sustainable campus in the University Muhamadiyah North Sumatra. Some 408 respondents were interviewed using a questionnaire. The data is obtained has been analyzed using descriptive analysis, perception analysis, factor analysis and test data quality. The  results   showed   that   majority   of respondents    familiar with what is Environmentally sound campus or Eco-Campus. The descriptive analysis shows that the majority of respondents were aged 17-21 years, male, college students and recent high school education. In the analysis of the perception there are 403 respondents who know about environmentally sustainable campus while the rest do not. For the factor analysis KMO test value obtained for 0.891 (great for the meticulous sampling), commonality 0.464 to 0.715, total variance is 59.765, and the eigenvalue criterion of 59 percent. In the quality test data on the reliability of the test can be of value for Cronbach's Alpha 0.875 is greater than the basic standard Cronbach's Alpha  0.870 which can be deduced That the grains realibel questions. Based on the results of this study, environmentally sustainable campus can be a shared desire campus community at UMSU to get a cool atmosphere, beautiful and comfortable.Keywords: Perception, Campus environmentally sound, Eco-Campus

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth and yield response of corn ( Zea mays L. ) on chicken manure and liquid organic fertilizer plus . The design used was a Randoimized Block Design Factorial with two factors studied, namely : Chicken Manure Factor ( K ) consists of 3 levels and consists of K0 = 0 kg / plot , K1 = 1.5 kg / plot and K2 = 3 kg / plot. Factor Plus Liquid Organic Fertilizer ( Sea Horse Star ) ( B ) is divided into 4 levels without giving B0 = B1 = 3 ml / l of water , B2 = 6 ml / l of water and B3 = 9 ml / l of water. The parameters measured were plant height ( cm ), number of leaves ( blade ), days to flowering ( days ), ear length ( cm ) , cob weight per sample ( g ), weight of cobs per plot ( kg  , number of seeds per cob ( seed ) and dry weight of seeds per plot ( g ).
