Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of the role of parents in improving discipline and responsibility for children who are still in elementary school (SD) in Korong rimbo karambia, ulakan tapakis sub-district, padang pariaman district, as well as to find out the inhibiting factors for planting discipline and responsibility. answer to elementary school students in Korong rimbo karambia, ulakan tapakih sub-district, padang pariaman district. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis research type. The research focus is a form of child discipline. The activity stage is the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the report result stage, the data sources used are primary and secondary data. The instrument used in this study was an interview guide sheet, data collection procedures, namely observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data, namely the triangulation of techniques and triangulation of sources, while the data analysis used was to explain, describe, and describe according to the problem. The results showed that (1) parents still supervise their children both in terms of time and behavior, (2) the inhibiting factor in instilling discipline and responsibility for elementary school students, namely the lack of consistency of parents in providing examples due to the busyness of parents at work.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of parental involvement in supporting children's education at an early age, as well as to find out the obstacles faced by parents in supporting children's education at an early age. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis research type. The focus of the research is the form of parental involvement. The activity stages are the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the report results stage, the data sources used are primary and secondary data. The instrument used in this study was an interview guide sheet, data collection procedures, namely observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data, namely technical triangulation and source triangulation, while the data analysis used is to explain, describe, and describe according to the problem. The results showed that the involvement of parents in supporting children's education at an early age in Korong Tiram, Ulakan Tapakis sub-district, Padang Pariaman district can be seen in terms of (1) parental participation in activities held at school. Activities that also involve parents in early childhood education programs are annual activities such as excursions or farewells. (2) When viewed from the involvement of parents in terms of providing education and assisting the educational development of their children, not all parents play an active role in providing education and assisting the educational development of their children in the home or family. there are some parents who are busy with their own business so that they neglect their children and seem not to care about their children's affairs. This causes many children to experience psychological problems such as children who act naughty, seek people's attention, are moody, disturb friends and so on.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian Sumber bahan ajar yang digunakan masih belum bervariasi serta tampilannya belum menarik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan validitas dan praktikalitas modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis model guided discovery learning pada kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Nan Sabaris. Penelitian pengembangan research and development (R&D). Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D (four- D) yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan diakhiri dengan tahap pengembangan (develop). Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SDN 01 Nan Sabaris berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa angket validasi tenaga ahli dan angket uji kepraktisan pendidik dan peserta didik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis validitas modul dan analisis kepraktisan penggunaan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis model guided discovery learning. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah produk berupa modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis model Guided Discovery Learning pada kelas IV IPA SDN 01 Nan Sabaris. Dari hasil analisis terhadap uji validasi modul pembelajaran, maka modul yang dikembangkan berkategori sangat valid dengan tingkat kevalidan sebesarĀ  87,68%. Tingkat praktikalitas modul dari pendidik dan peserta didik 86,03% dengan kategori sangat praktis.
