Abstract

Memang matematika sampai saat ini masih tetap menjadi materi sulit bagi sebagian siswa. Matematika dalam pembelajaran masih memiliki jurang pemisah dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Berbagai strategi pembelajaran digunakan untuk membantu mempermudah pemahaman matematika. Budaya Pop yang ada dan digandrungi oleh siswa, bisa menjadi potensi yang bagus guna membuat matematika lebih indah dan asyik untuk dipelajari. Selain itu banyak penemuan baru di era digital mulai dari aplikasi rumus, aplikasi semacam geogebra, mathlab, matchad, photomath dll. Bagaimana pembelajaran matematika berkembang sampai saat ini. Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat juga merubah polah hidup masyarakat, hubungan kerja hingga menginfiltrasi terhadap pendidikan bahkan sampai pembelajaran. Terebih munculnya media sosial (whatssap, twitter, facebook, line, youtube dll) yang bergandengan dengan budaya pop akan memberikan lompatan jauh dalam evolusi pembelajaran matematika. Tentu dulu bagi guru belum terpikirkan bagaiman menggandeng budaya pop untuk pembelajaran. Karena keduanya merupakan hasil dari kebudayaan berbeda. Tentu tulisan ini akan menguraikan bagaimana hubungan media sosial, budaya pop dan pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Education and the economy are still a major problem in our country. The low level of community education causes the economy is still low. Cerme village of Lamongan regency is one example of civilization which also has problems both. This devotion focuses on the efforts to assist local msayarakt how to improve their reading ethos, internet recognize and how to do business or buying and selling transactions online or E-Commerce. Besides this dedication is done for one month. This form of advisory activities is the establishment of a reading park, internet installation and online business training or E-Commerce. With internet facilities that have been installed by UMSurabaya team hope after community training can access the latest knowledge and business with the help of internet. While for school children they can use the reading park and can access knowledge through the internet as well.

Abstract

So far, mathematics has become a difficult subject for students. Therefore some parents choose the way to bring in private teachers to help their children understand math. This devotion is the accompaniment of learning for students at SD Muhammadiyah 18 Surabaya and the fisherman children who are still in school kenjeran surabaya area. This devotion is done by a number of fun mathematical realists (REMATIKA) Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya. The volunteers make the media of learning innovation a number of seven media to help students memmami math with fun and fun way. Among them are learning of the set with the media of smart dolls (BOPIN), smart turtle, KOTAMAT (mathematical box), FRAMEWORK (mathematical war tower), Kurung Sakti, and Pirates of Mathematics

Abstract

This research begins from the low student’s learning result, because in the mathematic’s learning process students aren’t actively involved and learning process more focus to teacher (teacher centered), so teacher more dominates and becomes the center of attention in learning activity. This proves that less effective learning process at school. The purpose of this research is looking for the effectivity of mathematics learning using statistic ball media with inquiry model at mathematics learning VIII class junior high school spesifically for statistic lesson. Type of this research is descriptive quantity research. Research design used one group pretest posttest design. Research sample is 30 students class VIII-C Muhammadiyah 15 Junior High School, Surabaya. Research data is observation to find out students activities and teachers ability to manage learning, questionnaire to find out student’s response, and test question in the form of essay for measure mathematic ability on statistic learning. The result of this research shows that teacher’s ability on manage learning get a very good category, student’s activity get a very active criteria, completeness of student’s learning result shows that 80% from all students reach KKM. Student’s response to this mathematics learning, students show a positive response. So, application of mathematic learning models used statistic ball media with inquiry model effective use on mathematic learning at student grade VIII-C Muhammadiyah 15 Junior High School, Surabaya.

Abstract

This research starts from the low activeness and student learning outcomes caused by several factors including conventional mathematics learning where the teacher teaches only with the lecture method and other factors are the factors of teaching material students have less attractive and incomplete so that the learning material cannot be conveyed properly and lack of interest in students reading the material available in teaching materials. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of android-based comics with the RME approach to quadrilateral flat material. Comic-shaped teaching materials use a 4-D development model which includes 4 stages, which include the stages of defining, planning, developing and disseminating, in this study limited to the development stage. This type of research is the development of Research & Development (R & D) and uses the 4D development model. The learning outcomes test of students who have carried out learning using an Android-based comic-based teaching material with the RME approach in class VII-B schools in Muhammadiyah Middle School 15 Surabaya obtained completeness of 74.07%. Students' responses to the Android-based comic-based teaching materials developed were obtained at 85.19% which are included in the criteria of "very strong". The results of field trials in class VII-A Muhammadiyah Middle School 15 Surabaya obtained the classical completeness of the learning outcomes test of 88.89%. Student responses to the comic-shaped teaching material developed were obtained by 92.75% which was included in the criteria of "very strong".

Abstract

The  development  of  more  advanced  affects  parents.  Most  parents  wished  for  her clever  counting  etc.  Because  demand  is  so  great  would  be  a  problem  if  the  expectations imposed  on  early  childhood  in  a  span  of  2‐7  years.  Educational  institutions  also  as playgroup  as  the  age  of  arithmetic  that  is  not  appropriate  for  children.  Because  on the one  hand,  early  childhood,  still  in  play.  But  both  of  them  can’t  be  disputed  and  faced resistance.  A  Both  of  them  can  be  bridged  by  their  mathematical  educational  games  in order  to  enhance  the  creativity  of  children.  So  in  early  childhood  should  be  targeted  not cognitive  intelligence  but  the  creativity  of  children.  Therefore,  this  study  will  focus  how  to foster the creativity of children with math games. The approach in this study using literatif study. Is to find various references to give an answer to these problems.  Keywords:  Education, Creativity and Mathematics games

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray Terhadap Hasil Belajar dan Minat Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas VII yang berjumlah 19 peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner respon peserta didik dan tes hasi belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai = 11.85 dan nilai signifikansi (Sig) adalah 0.001. Karena , yaitu maka ditolak dan diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Lebih lanjut, P-value atau nilai signifikansi 0.001 < 0.05, sehingga pengaruh yang ada adalah signifikan. Kemudian kuesioner respon peserta didik diperoleh persentase untuk keseluruhan pernyataan lebih dari merespon positif. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan hasil belajar dan minat belajar peserta didik jika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray. Kata kunci: Minat Belajar, Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray, Hasil Belajar. Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of the Cooperative Learning Model, type Two Stay Two Stray on Learning Outcomes and Learning Interest of Class VII Students, amounting to 19 students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The instruments used for this study were the student response questionnaire and the learning achievement test. The results of this study indicate the value = 11.85 and the significance value (Sig) is 0.001. Because, that is, then rejected and accepted. This means that there is an influence of the application of the cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray to the learning outcomes of students. Furthermore, the P-value or significance value of 0.001 <0.05, so that the influence is significant. Then the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage for the overall statement more than responding positively. So it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes and learning interest if using the cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray. Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia belum sepenuhnya menjawab permasalahan sosial masyarakat yang ada. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan untuk menangani hal tersebut. Gagasan KH. Ahmad Dahlan dan Paulo Freire bisa dijadikan model dalam implementasi pendidikan agar bisa menjawab permasalahan sosial kehidupan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbandingan pemikiran KH. Ahmad Dahlan dan Paulo Freire yang meliputi gagasan besar konsep pendidikan dan implementasinya dalam pembelajaran yang memuat strategi, pendekatan dan metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literature. Data dikumpulkan melalui penelusuran terhadap artefak, dokumen serta artikel ilmiah yang relevan dengan pokok bahasan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini adalah, meskipun mereka hidup di tempat dan masa yang berbeda, namun peneliti menemukan empat persinggungan pemikiran keduanya. Pertama, pada gagasan besar baik KH. Ahmad Dahlan ataupun Paulo Freire menggunakan konsep pendidikan kritis. Kedua, Strategi yang digunakan oleh mereka untuk mengimplementasikan gagasan pendidikan adalah strategi authentic learning. Mereka membawa muridnya untuk membaca fenomena nyata yang dialami. Ketiga, keduanya memilih pendekatan student center learning. Keempat, metode yang mereka gunakan adalah dialog dengan para muridnya. Keempat persinggungan tersebut memiliki relevansi dengan pelaksanaan pendidikan Indonesia saat ini. Secara konseptual, strategi, pendekatan dan metode yang digunakan kedua tokoh di atas terwakili dengan adanya Kurikulum 2013.
