Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the mathematical reasoning ability taught by the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) model with a contextual approach is better than the direct learning model, to determine the students' KKM achievement in mathematical reasoning abilities taught using the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) model with a contextual approach. , and to find out students' interest in learning when the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model with a contextual approach was applied to social arithmetic material for class VII. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMPN 10 Singkawang and the samples in this study were Grade VII A and VII B students. The analysis technique was in the form of two sample t-test, right-hand t-test, right-hand z-test one sample, and the percentage of interest in learning. The results of the research are that the mathematical reasoning ability using the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) model with a contextual approach is better than the direct learning model, students' mathematical reasoning abilities have reached the KKM and students' interest in learning is high.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahhan masalah matematis siswa di SMA Negeri 6 Singkawang ditinjau dari gaya belajar menurut honey mumford pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel. Jenis peneltian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Singkawang yang berjumlah 21 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yag digunakan adalah teknik kuesioner, teknik tes dan teknik wawancara. Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah angket gaya belajar Honey mumford, soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar aktivis memiliki kecendrungan senang dengan pengalaman atau permasalahan baru, siswa dengan tipe gaya belajar ini mampu memahami masalah, merencanakan masalah, merencanakan penyelesaian, melaksanakan penyelesaian namun sedikit tergesa-gesa dalam memerikasa kembali. 2) siswa degan gaya belajar reflektor memiliki kemampuan observasi yang tinggi sehingga membantu siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah namun melakukan kesalahn jika di bawah tekanan. 3) siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar pragmatis memiliki kecendrungan menyukai cara-cara praktis dalam belajar, siswa dengan gaya belajar ini mengalami kesulitan saat merencanakan penyelesaian. 4) Siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar teoritis memiliki kemampuan pemecahan yang baik .Kata Kunci: kemampuan pemecahan masalah, gaya belajar, honey mumford.

Abstract

The partners of this service activity are teachers throughout West Kalimantan with partner problems, namely a decrease in the quality of learning in Merdeka Learning. Quality learning cannot be separated from the ability of teachers as planners, implementers, facilitators, and evaluators. One of the efforts that can be done to improve the quality of learning is to carry out lesson study. The purpose of this Community Service activity is the formation of a learning community that consistently makes self-improvement in the learning process to reduce the decline in learning outcomes in Merdeka Learning. The method of implementing this  activity is mentoring lesson study to teachers throughout West Kalimantan. The implementation follows the method of implementing lesson study, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Regarding the usefulness of the activity to the 300 participants, data obtained from 300 people felt that this activity was very useful or equivalent to 100% of the number of participants. This shows that the activity of "Lesson Study as an Effort to Improve the Quality of Learning in Independent Learning" has provided positive benefits for participants and its benefits have been felt. The supporting factor for this activity is the enthusiasm of teachers who take part in the service program activities carried out. The inhibiting factor of service activities is the limited time for carrying out activities
