Abstract

PT. ABC merupakan perusahaan manufaktur di Tangerang dan memiliki tipe produksi make to order. Produk Bracket B6H-F194X-00 merupakan salah satu produk dengan jumlah permintaan tertinggi dan selalu diproduksi setiap bulannya. Permasalahan yang terjadi yakni target produksi tidak tercapai pada bulan September 2020 – Febuari 2021 yang disebabkan adanya waste, dampaknya perusahaan hanya dapat mengirimkan produknya sebesar 653 pcs/hari dari rata – rata target produksi sebesar 1100 pcs/hari. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meminimasi waste pada proses produksi Bracket B6H-F194X-00 menggunakan Lean Manufacturing untuk mencapai target produksi di PT. ABC. Penelitian diawali dengan pemetaan Current State Mapping dan waste yang teridentifikasi yaitu waste waiting, unnecessary motion, transportation, overprocessing, dan defect. Pembobotan waste dilakukan menggunakan Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP) dan didapatkan bahwa waste transportation merupakan waste dominan dengan bobot 0.3059. Bobot masing – masing waste digunakan untuk pemilihan Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT) dan diperoleh tools Process Activity Mapping (PAM) dengan bobot skor 7.527. Usulan perbaikan menggunakan metode 5W+1H yakni penggunaan work bench, penggabungan aktivitas transportasi dan penambahan tempat pembuang skrap piercing sementara. Hasil perbaikan kemudian digambarkan dengan PAM setelah perbaikan serta dipetakan melalui Future State Mapping diperoleh bahwa total produksi menjadi 1103 pcs/hari dan target produksi dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) merupakan model bisnis untuk menggunakanpihak ketiga sebagai subkontraktor atau pemasok bagian-bagian tertentu dalam rangka integrasiproduk akhir. Pemasok OEM platform dibagi beberapa tingkatan. Pemasok tingkatan 1 (tier 1) adalahpemasok yang terbesar, tier 1 memproduksi barang yang penting untuk perusahaan OEM. PerusahaanOEM 1st tier tidak terlepas dari waste yang ada di perusahaan itu sendiri. Studi kasus dilakukan padaperusahaan manufaktur OEM supplier tier 1 yang memproduksi brake untuk kendaraan roda 2 (twowheels). Besarnya kuantitas permintaan dari produsen sepeda motor (OEM) dan varian modelnya,serta masih terdapat loss genba (waste) di shop-floor, dan adanya cost reduction yearly dariperusahaan OEM. Maka, perlu dibuat sebuah model atau sistem untuk meningkatkan kinerjaperusahaan. Model yang dibuat berdasarkan prinsip lean yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi ataumenghilangkan waste pada proses manufaktur dengan tools Objective Matrix (OMAX), Value StreamMapping (VSM), Eliminate-Combine-Rearrange-Simplify (ECRS) dimana goal akhir adalahpeningkatan kinerja (produktivitas) perusahaan. Part yang dipilih untuk improvement adalah linemachining master cylinder 5P0, dengan nilai produktivitas dasar OMAX adalah 300. Dilakukananalisa dengan VSM sebagai visualisasi waste yang terdapat pada shop-floor saat ini. Diperoleh wasteyakni motion, over process dan waiting. Setelah dilakukan analisis waste yang ada, berikutnya adalahmelakukan perbaikan menggunakan pendekatan ECRS. Perbaikan dilakukan menggunakanpendekatan ECRS. Hasil yang diperoleh gap waktu standar sebelum dan sesudah adalah 8.29 detik(atau turun sebesar 17%). Perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah eliminate proses facing machining,combine tool burrytori, rearrange penempatan material, simplify penempatan air minum di line.ECRS menunjukkan hasil menaikkan nilai produktivitas di bulan berikutnya sebesar 432, 959, 334,770, 921, 959. Hasil lainnya adalah 4 bulan setelah aktivitas, line machining untuk kebutuhan mastercylinder 5P0 yang sebelumnya menggunakan 6 line direduksi menjadi 5 line (reduksi 1 line). Darihasil pengujian T-test terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai produktivitas dasar terhadapnilai produktivitas setelah perbaikan.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the production capacity of the server rack 08U Type Double ASeriesWallmounted BRI on company X. Current production did not reached the expected target of117 units / week because of the bottleneck workstation. The study began by identifying the bottleneckworkstation using the Theory of Constraints (TOC). The result of identification process showed twobottleneck work stations, that are work station Punching and Ovencoating. The production capacitywas improved by performing the steps as follows: 1) Add 1 machine at punching station, 2) performjob scheduling on parallel machines at punching station using Short Processing Time (SPT) criteria;3) perform job sequencing on bending station using Weighted Shortest Processing Time (WSPT)criteria; 4 ) adds overtime at ovencoating stations, and 5) implementing bottleneck scheduling methodto sequence all jobs. The Results of this study showed that makespan was reduced by 12.03% andproduction capacity increased by 41.9% so that the production target of 117% can be achieved.

Abstract

Nowadays, carton boxes are very popularly used, mostly in food industries, pharmacy and other consumer products. Most carton box industries work base on customer order (Make-to-order company), because most of carton box order are prepared for particular customer. Carton box are not only used for containing and protecting the product, but also functioned to inform the product to the customers. Make-to-order company has a high level of uncertainty such as the type and design of the product, the step of production, production time, cost, equipments and machine. This could create further problems; the overdue of order and completing process, and the acceptability of the product. This research is intended to design an order processing model for the carton box industry to accelerate order receipt process and evaluate the feasibility of the order. This paper focused on two models, those are the order entry model and order evaluation model. In order entry model, product code is given, and calculation model for needed raw material is made by using mathematical formulation. In order evaluation model, expert system and decision tree are used for analyzing the process capability and selecting machinery as well as designing the steps of production.

Abstract

This research was intended to produce an order (job) scheduling model at Carton Packaging Industries (CPI) that is useful for giving information about the time delivery to customers. The proposed model is quite complicated because of the characteristic of Make to Order (MTO) varies production process greatly between each order. The job’s schedule for CPI is prepared for production process that consists of 5 stages where in each stage uses different type of machinery. Not all jobs can be processed by all machines at a given production stage. Every job flow through 5 stage in the same order, but not all stages have to visited by all jobs. Stages may be skipped for a particular job. This condition makes CPI is classified as Hybrid and flexible flowshop for machine eligibility (HFFME). HFFME is complicated and is difficult to calculate by using conventional heuristic model. This research used genetic algorithm for solving the complex problem of HFFME and the resulting model called the Genetic Algorithm for hybrid and flexible flowshop with machine eligibility (GA-HFFME). This model is developed to minimized makespan, the objective of scheduling. The experiment was conducted towards 11 orders and it was found that the GA-HFFME is effective to solve that problem.

Abstract

Intisari—Dengan Persaingan yang cukup ketat dalam dunia industri beton pracetak saat ini tentunya membuat PT.ABC sebagai manufaktur beton pracetak dituntut untuk dapat menghasilkan produk yang memenuhi ekspetasi pelanggan baik dari segi waktu dan kualitas. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut perlu dilakukan analisis pemborosan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Lean supply chain sehingga akan meningkatkan efisiensi sistem manufaktur. Pendekatan ini dilakukan dengan menggambarkan aliran informasi perusahaan melalui tools Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Aktivitas Perusahaan akan di kelompokkan dalam value added, non value added, dan necessary non value added. Dari pemetaan VSM terlihat pemborosan banyak terjadi di aliran rantai pasok. Hal ini terlihat dari Terjadinya keterlambatan kedatangan material utama dari supplier mengakibatkan proses terhenti, Perubahan rencana produksi yang mendadak, Terganggunya penjadwalan produksi yang disebabkan oleh lead time yang panjang. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya yang efektif dan efisien untuk meminimasi pemborosan di aliran rantai pasok agar dapat memenuhi ekspetasi pelanggan. Penelitian ini berhasil merinci besar value added time adalah 2.025 menit, total necessary but non value added time adalah 335 menit sehingga total supply chain lead time adalah 2.360 menit.Abstract— With the strict competition in the precast concrete industry at this time, causing PT.ABC as a precast concrete manufacturing is required to be able to produce products that meet customer expectations both of time and quality. To achieve this, a waste analysis needs to be done using the Lean supply chain approach so that it will improve the efficiency of the manufacturing system. This approach is carried out by describing the flow of company information through Value Stream Mapping (VSM) tools. Company activities will be classification in value added, non value added, and necessary non value added. From the VSM mapping it is seen that a lot of waste occurs in the supply chain flow. This can be seen from the delay in the arrival of main material from the supplier resulting in the process stalled, a sudden change in production plans, disruption of production scheduling caused by a long lead time. Therefore, effective and efficient efforts are needed to minimize waste in the supply chain flow in order to meet customer expectations. This research succeeded in detailing the value added time is 2,025 minutes, the total necessary but non value added time is 335 minutes so that the total supply chain lead time is 2,360 minutes.

Abstract

The weaving operator of CV XYZ has an unergonomic work posture with a bent back and unbalanced legs at work. This non-ergonomic condition was identified by using the Nordic Body Map questionnaire to find out complaints on 28 body parts of three operators. From the identification of weaving operators using a nordic body map, it is known that there are complaints on the back, waist, and hips of the body. Identification using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment method shows that the final result of the assessment is 11, which means that there is a need for improvement now on the operator's work posture. The results of the QEC method show an exposure score of 97.12% for operator 3 and the action that must be taken is research and changes now. To reduce the risk of high work posture, a proposal for improving the working posture of the weaving machine set up operator was formulated by designing a manual scissor lift tool. In the process of designing tools, Indonesian anthropometric data is needed. The stages of designing tools are identifying operator needs, conceptualizing tools using a need metric matrix, selecting tools concepts with combination tables and scoring concepts and describing the design of tools using AutoCAD and CATIA software. From the results of the selection of several alternative concepts, a tool in the form of a manual scissor lift was chosen which has a combination of elements, namely a square working platform design, using 2 hydraulics and raw materials made of steel. Meanwhile, the manual scissor lift specification has a maximum height of 85 cm, a footing length of 70 cm and a footing width of 46 cm. It is known that before the proposed improvement, the final result of the REBA score was 11 and after the improvement the final result of the REBA score was 4 which indicates that the operator's work posture has improved after using the assistive device, especially in the arms, legs and back of the operator

Abstract

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) predicts that by 2050 the world's population will reach 9.1 billion. That means agricultural production must increase by 70% in that year to meet the food needs of the population. Based on data from the official Cigelam village website, it is known that the number of farmers is 161 people or 2.34% of the total population of Cigelam village. Based on a field survey that was conducted in August 2022 in Cigelam village, there are smallholder farms that grow chili, corn and other fruit trees. Farmers water the plants at certain hours manually by turning on the water pump without seeing whether the plants are short of water or not. The problem faced by farmers/planters in Cigelam village is that they plant crops in areas with hot and temperate zones so that the plants need to pay more attention to soil moisture. This Community Service Program introduces smart agricultural technology or smart farming to farmers in the village of Cigelam which can increase the quality and quantity of agricultural products in a smart way. The implementation method used is to provide counseling about smart farming and demonstrations of automatic plant sprinklers based on soil moisture. From the answers to the evaluation of the implementation of the activities by the training participants it was found that the usefulness of the activities and the materials provided received good and very good scores of 92%. It is hoped that the benefits of this counseling can be spread again to other farmers and implemented. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)/Organisasi Pangan dan Pertanian memprediksi bahwa pada tahun 2050 jumlah penduduk dunia akan mencapai 9,1 milyar. Itu berarti produksi pertanian harus meningkat sebesar 70% pada tahun tersebut demi mencukupi kebutuhan pangan penduduk. Berdasarkan data dari website resmi desa Cigelam diketahui jumlah petani/pekebun adalah 161 orang atau 2,34% dari jumlah penduduk desa Cigelam. Berdasarkan survey di lapangan yang sudah dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2022 di desa Cigelam terdapat pertanian rakyat yang menanam pohon cabai, jagung, maupun pohon buah-buahan lainnya. Petani menyiram tanaman mereka pada jam tertentu secara manual dengan menyalakan pompa air tanpa melihat apakah tanaman sedang kekurangan air atau tidak. Permasalahan yang dihadapi para petani/pekebun di desa Cigelam yaitu mereka menanam tanaman di daerah yang berzona panas dan sedang sehingga tanaman perlu lebih diperhatikan kelembaban tanahnya. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat kali ini memperkenalkan teknologi pertanian pintar atau smart farming kepada para petani dan pekebun penduduk di desa Cigelam yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas hasil pertanian secara pintar. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan tentang pertanian pintar dan demonstrasi alat penyiram tanaman otomatis berdasarkan kelembaban tanah. Dari jawaban evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan oleh peserta pelatihan diketahui bahwa kebermanfaatan kegiatan dan materi yang diberikan mendapat nilai baik dan sangat baik sebesar 92%. Dirahapkan manfaat dari penyuluhan ini dapat disebarkan lagi ke petani lain dan diimplementasikan.
