<![CDATA[Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses siswa kelas IV SDN 17 Rantau Kabupaten Bengkayang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, bersifat kualitatif. Bentuk penelitian ini penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian guru dan siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 12 siswa. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan tahapan; perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase dan rata-rata skor sedangkan alat pengumpul data menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian kemampuan guru menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran siklus I sebesar 78% sedangkan siklus II sebesar 89% dan kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses siswa pada siklus I sebesar 75% sedangkan siklus II sebesar 88%. Keterampilan proses siswa mengobservasi siklus I sebesar 65% sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 73% . Keterampilan proses siswa melakukan eksperimen siklus I sebesar 61% siklus II 80%. Keterampilan proses siswa mengkomunikasikan siklus I sebesar 60% dan pada siklus II sebesar 73%. Keterampilan proses siswa menginferensi siklus I sebesar 60% dan pada siklus II sebesar 67% . Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa dalam pembelajaran energi panas pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV SDN 17 Rantau Kabupaten Bengkayang. The method used is descriptive qualitative. This research forms the subject of action research studies teacher and fourth grade students who totaled 12 students.
