Abstract

One of the theories developed in graph theory is the dominating set. Dominating set is a concept of determining the minimum point on the graph with the provision of a point as dominating set to reach the point that is around it. The smallest cardinality of the dominating set is called the domination number denoted by (G). Given graph G with point V and E side, let D be a subset of V. If each point of VD is adjacent at least one point from D, then D is said dominating set in graph G. Currently a lot of applications from dominating set, one of which is making irrigation fields. Wetland irrigation is needed to irrigate the rice fields so that the rice field is not short of water and can irrigate sufficiently, but it takes as little as possible for irrigation making in order to irrigate the rice field well. The research focuses on application of dominating set to rice field irrigation. Keywords: dominating sets, rice field irrigation

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the importance of High Order Thinking Skills in relation to solve mathematical problem solving. The method used is to describe the learning of mathematics related to problem solving using high-level thinking skills based on the results of a supportive reference study. Problem solving is a high-level mental process and requires a more complex process of thinking. Problem solving is a non-routine problem, meaning that the problem cannot be solved directly. This problem requires higher thinking skills in solving them. High Order Thinking Skills in Bloom Taxonomy in the cognitive domain consist of six levels: remembering, understanding, understanding, applying, analyzing, analyzing and evaluating (create). With high-level thinking skills a person will be able to solve problem solving problems properly. Given the importance of high-level thinking skills, these skills must be possessed by each student in answering mathematical problem solving. Keywords: High order thinking skills, problem solving questions

Abstract

IP address is a numerical identification were assigned to a device such as a computer, router or printer are contained in a computer network that uses the Internet protocol for communication. Each computer must have an IP address that is to be kept secret. To determine IP address we can use a methods, the method use Super edge anti magic (SEATL). Super edge anti magic total labeling of G graph is bijective function  with the property that the edge-weights  form an arithmetic progression where a>0 and d ? 0 are two fixed integers. ), form an arithmetic sequence with firstterm a and common difference d. Such a graph G is called super if the smallest possiblelabels appear on the vertices. In this paper we study about methods to develop code tag and detect a number of IP Address on computer setup.

Abstract

A graph G of order p and size q is an called an (a,d)-edge antimagic total if there exist a bijection f:(V(G)E(G))? {1,2,...,p+q} such that the edge-weights, w(uv) =f(u)+f(v)+f(uv); ; uv,(G) form an arithmetic sequence with ¯first term a and common diference d. Such a graph G is called super if the smallest possible labels appear on the vertices. In this paper we will study a super edge-antimagic total Tribun Graph and the application of developing of polyalphabetic cryptosystem. The result shows that connected Tribun Graph admits a super (a; d)-edge antimagic total labeling for d = 0,1,2, and it can be used to develop a secure polyalphabetic cryptosystem. Keywords:  Super (a; d)-edge-antimagic total labeling, Tribun graph polyalphabetic cryptosystem.

Currently a lot of applications from dominating set, one of which is Minimizing the Construction of Lakes at River Meeting Points to Reduce Floods in Jakarta. In this study a river meeting will be rebuilt to select floods in Jakarta. Flooding is a natural disaster which is currently often in Indonesia. Especially in Jakarta. Jakarta is one of the risk areas for flooding in Indonesia and floods that always occur suddenly There are so many ways to reduce them, but that doesn't work. One of the causes of flooding in Jakarta is the overflow of river air. When a patient appears suddenly several rivers that have large currents, air flow will collide at the meeting point. When the river flows, the air will overflow large enough. Therefore, it is important to develop a lake at the river meeting point but it is necessary to make the lake as minimal as possible and also to be efficient. The research application dominates the set of lake developments in each river meeting point in the city. Keywords: dominating set, river, flood

Abstract

Polyalphabetic cipher cryptosystem is the study of mathematical techniques that related to aspects of information security such as confidentiality, data integrity, authentication and authentication of data origin. With the internet, long distance communication can be done quickly and cheaply. However, the internet is not very secure because it is a public communication medium that can be used by anyone so it is very vulnerable to information tapping. Cryptography has been widely used in life for example banking atm ATMs, account numbers sacrificed, sending secret military messages. By applying polyalphabetic cipher cryptosystems, pins, account numbers and secret messages sent will be more secure and the information will not be easily known. Keywords: polyalphabetic cipher cryptosystem, banking, pin

Abstract

Kata kunci: Proses Berpikir, Pemecahan Masalah, Scaffolding Abstrack This research is a descriptive qualitative, aims to explore students' thinking processes in statistical problem solving for class VIII before and after being given assistance or scaffolding. The research subjects consisted of two eighth grade students. The research was conducted by giving two statistica problems , then the results were analyzed and compared with the results of interviews conducted on research subjects. From the results was found that in question number 1, Subject 1 (S1) carried out 3 steps of the thinking process, namely: understanding the problem, planning a solution, and implementing the plan. The difference in thought processes before and after scaffolding is in the second and third steps. While the second subject (S2) did the same three-step thought process as the first subject (S1), but there was a thinking error made by the first subject in the three steps, so the whole scaffolding was given. In the second question, both the first subject and the second subject carried out four thought processes, namely: understanding the problem, planning a solution, implementing the plan, and re-examining the results of the settlement. Scaffolding is given in the second and third steps.generally, there are differences in students' thinking processes before and after the scaffolding process.
