Abstract

This study aims to determine the Contribution of Student Competence and the Utilization of Learning Facilities in Schools Against the Learning Readiness of Class X Students in Audio Video Engineering Expertise Program at SMK Negeri 2 Solok. The population of this study were all students of class X audio video engineering skills program at SMK Negeri 2 Solok 2018/2019 academic year, amounting to 60 students. data retrieval using a random sample of 52 students. The research data collection method used documentation and questionnaires shared with students. This data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that (1) contributing to student competency and the use of learning facilities in schools together contributed 42.51% to the Learning Preparedness of Class X of the Audio Engineering Expertise Program at Solok State Vocational High School, (2) Student competence contributed as much as 22.66% of the Learning Preparedness of Class X Students in the Audio Engineering Expertise Program at Solok State Vocational High School, (3) Utilizing learning facilities in schools jointly contributes 14.06% to Class X Students' Readiness in Audio Engineering Skills Program in Vocational Schools Negeri 2 Solok. So it can be concluded that Student Competence and Utilization of Learning Facilities in Schools Contribute to Learning Readiness at Solok 2 Vocational School.Keywords: Student Competence, Use of School Learning Facilities, Learning Readiness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the contribution of student learning and  Family Socioeconomic Statuson student achievement outstanding Class XI Department of Audio Video (TAV) Public and Private SMK Padang. This research is a correlationaldescriptive study. The study population totaled 69 students and the sample amounted to 41 outstanding students of class XI and SMK Padang Private in the Academic Year 2012/2013. Sampling technique proportional random sampling. Student learning outcomes data is obtained from the public and private vocational school student in the city of Padang. While data on student learning and Family Socioeconomic Status were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using a computer program SPSS version 16.0. The results of data analysis showed: (1) How to study and Family Socioeconomic Status together accounted for 56.6% of the outstanding student achievement in public and private SMK Padang; (2) How to Learn accounted for 30.1% of the outstanding student achievement in public and private SMK Padang; (3) Family Socioeconomic Status accounted for 15.13% of the outstanding student achievement in public and private SMK Padang.Keywords: How to Learn, Family Socioeconomic Status, Learning achievement, correlational descriptive, proportional random sampling.

Abstract

Penilitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui seberapa berpengaruhnya penerapan media pembelajaran canva dengan pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik Kelas X Teknik Pendingin dan Tata Udara (TPTU) di SMK Negeri 3 Kota Pariaman mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk desain eksperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Seubjek dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas X TPTU A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X TPTU B sebeagai kelas eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel ini dilakukan dengan purposive sampling atau berdasarkan dengan tujuan tertentu untuk kesetaraan kedua kelas. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan posttest di akhir pembelajaran. Hal ini dinyatakan dari hasil belajar penelitian pada kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata 82,50 sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh rata-rata 74,18. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis didapatkan nilai thitung2,99 > ttabel2,672 maka dapat dikatakan terdapat pengaruh signifikan dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran canva dengan pendekatan saintifik.Kata kunci : Media Pembelajaran Canva, Pendekatan Saintifik, Hasil Belajar, Quasi Experimental design, Nonequivalent Control Group Design

Abstract

The development of a personal room door security system needs to be improved, due to the high crime rate of theft. Personal room is a room that is private and feels to have important things in it. The design and manufacture of this tool aims to create a personal room door security system that uses fingerprint sensors and touch sensors as input functions. This system uses Arduino as the system's main controller. The output component uses a doorlock solenoid, 16x2 LCD and buzzer. The doorlock solenoid functions as a personal room door lock, 16x2 LCD monitors the work process of the system, and buzzer as a sound indicator. Based on the testing and analysis conducted, it was concluded that the personal room door security system could work well. The system can open the door using a fingerprint sensor or touch sensor, so it can improve the personal room door security system. Keywords: Fingerprint sensor, Touch sensor, Arduino, Doorlock Solenoid, 16x2 LCD.

Abstract

Industrial Revolution 4.0 has provided changes in various aspects of social life, one it’s changed in the Education sector which called by Education 4.0, utilizing information and digital technology as a supporting technology on the educational process, both in administration and learning processes. This effort to adopt this technology into education is also carried out by private education institutions, including MTs. Muhammadiyah (MTs.M) in Solok Regency, which is part of the junior secondary education. As a private educational institution, MTs.M realizes it is very urgent to increase the competitiveness and the quality of its education, which one of it effort is an integration of technology in the learning process called Blended Learning (BL) through the development of Learning Management systems (LMS) used in online learning management. The experimental method is used to see the improvement of teacher knowledge and skills in LMS-based BL which begins with a survey of school readiness and teacher competencies in BL, then continues with the LMS-based BL training activities for 30 teachers from 9 MTs.M. Pre and Post Training Questionnaire design is used in data collection. The results of this research data show an increase in teacher competence in LMS-based BL, with high enthusiasm in developing LMS as a learning system in each MTs.M.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of designing teaching materials using adobe flash CS6-based electrical and electronic measuring instruments and the increase in student learning outcomes in basic electricity and electronics (DLE) subjects in the audio and video engineering department at SMK N 1 West Sumatra. The method used in this study uses the waterfall model. The waterfall model consists of 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Testing. The research was conducted at SMK N 1 West Sumatra. Data collection techniques are validation from material experts, media experts, practicality tests for teachers and students, then to find out student learning outcomes, test tests are conducted for students. The results of the validation of the material get a mean score of 4.8 with a very feasible category, the results of the validation of media experts get a mean score of 4.83 with a very feasible category, the results of the practicality test of the teacher get a score of 4.7 with the very practical category and 94% presentation, the results of the practicality test students get a mean score of 4.04 with the practical category and 80.8% presentation, and the learning outcomes of X TAV students get a mean score of 75.6 with a presentation of 83.7% and the category is very good. The data obtained shows that the design of teaching materials using electric and electronic measuring instruments based on Adobe Flash CS6 is valid, practical and there is an increase in student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to produce learning media for electronic components using Augmented Reality technology by knowing the performance and magnitude of the feasibility value of learning media for electronic components using the Augmented Reality technology. Designing and making applications using the steps of the waterfall method include: 1) Designing, 2) Architectural Design and Interfaces, 3) Encoding / Programming, and 4) Testing. Application programs are made with laptops that have Intel®core ™ i3 CPU@2.00GHz processor specifications, 4.00GB RAM, Intel® HD Graphics520, 1TB hard drive, with a Windows 10 Pro 64-bit X64 operating system. Integrated Development Environment (IDE) in making this application is Unity 2018.3.6f1 with the marked based tracking method. Based on the results of the feasibility test conducted by two material experts as well as two media experts, that in the aspect of application material got an average value of a total score of 63 out of 68. In the media aspect the application got an average score of 84.5 from the total score of 96 Both of these scores give interpretation that the application of Augmented Reality learning media in teaching electronic engineering is very feasible to be used as a learning media.Keywords: Augmented Reality, Learning Media, Electronic Engineering, Unity 3D

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk menghasilkan, menguji validitas, dan menilai kepraktisan materi ajar dasar listrik dan elektronika berbasis Canva. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) atau R&D dengan model pengembangan 4D (Four-D Models). Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Materi ajar berbasis Canva yang mengacu pada model pengembangan Four-D Models yang meliputi empat tahapan yaitu define, design, develop dan disseminate; (2) Persentase kevalidan media berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli materi diperoleh nilai 82,85% (sangat valid), dan penilaian dari ahli media diperoleh persentase 88,00% (sangat valid), sedangkan berdasarkan uji praktisitas oleh guru diperoleh persentase 97,00% (sangat praktis) dan praktisitas oleh siswa 87,00% (sangat praktis) untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa materi ajar mata pada pelajaran Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika pada kompetensi dasar membedakan spesifikasi data komponen listrik berbasis Canva yang dihasilkan valid.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the difference between learning model of quantum teaching that combine with the technic record writing and structure and learning model of direct instruction in learning ouput on Menerapkan Dasar-Dasar Kelistrikan dan Elektronika for grade X TAV of SMK Negeri 5 Padang on odd semester, academic year 2013/2014. This type of research is true experimental. Participant were slected by non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. 30 students from Class XE3 TAV, which served as a controling class, used learning model of direct instruction. 30 students from Class XE1 TAV, which served as experimental class, used learning model of quantum teaching that combine with the technic record writing and structure. Data is collected from the final test then was analyzed for homogeneity testing, normality and hypothesis testing. The result indicates that experimental class has mean 78,7, while controlling class has mean 69,7. The result of hypothessis testing on significant level α = 0,05 is 4,887 > 2,042. Since the tcount is higher than the t table, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be inferred that learning model of quantum teaching that combine with the technic record writing and structure is better than learning model of direct instruction.
