Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini yakni meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman masyarakat lokal dalam memetakan potensi desa, khususnya produk unggulan kawasan pedesaan (Prukades). Untuk berikutnya, hasil pemetaan Prukades tersebut dapat dijadikan pengembangan usaha BUMDes di Pekon Sukabanjar. Metode PkM mencakup tiga tahapan, yakni (1) tahapan pendekatan, mulai dati upaya peningkatan aspek kognitif terhadap peserta PkM hingga tahap pendampingan dan pemberdayaan; (2) tahapan pekerjaan, yakni identifikasi faktor kekuatan dan kelemahan dalam upaya menemukenali potensi desa-Prukades; dan (3) tahapan tindak lanjut program. Mengacu dari hasil pelaksanaan PkM terungkap bahwa keberadaan BUMDes di Pekon Sukabanjar belum berdampak secara optimal meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyakat sekitar. Setidaknya kendala terbesar terletak pada masih lemahnya aspek tata kelola pengelolaan BUMDes di pekon tersebut. Adapun hasil pemetaan prukades di Pekon Sukabanjar mencakup: (1) keunggulan hasil pertanian yakni alpukat, kopi, singkong, sayur mayur, dan peyediaan bibit tanaman, dan (2) keunggulan potensi wisata mencakup jasa angkutan wisata air Danau Ranau, pemandian air panas di kaki Gunung Seminung, hingga ziarah tempat keramat/suci. Rekomendasi hasil PkM ini menekankan pada prukades yang dimiliki oleh pekon dapat dijadikan pengembangan jenis usaha pada BUMDes di Pekon Sukabanjar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to identify barriers and opportunities in the implementation of gender mainstreaming in strategic developmentof Central Lampung regency. The approach used is a qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews, questionnaires, review of documentation, and focus group discussion (FGD). The study revealed,: (1) the implementation of the legal framework is still limited; (2) lack of commitment on the implementation of gender mainstreaming in individual and institutional levels; (3) Working Group and gender focal points have not been functioning optimally; (4) there is no gender disaggregated data as well as the mechanism of action has not been established to formulate gender- disaggregated data; (5) gender analysis tools is used on a limited basis by the Badan PP dan KB, while other agencies have not implemented this analysis tool . In addition, the study also found several factors driving the implementation of Gender Mainstreaming in Central Lampung regency, (1) the readiness of human resources to carry out gender mainstreaming in the planning, implementation ,monitoring and evaluation of development; (2) the encouragement of civil society to the government in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development and the establishment of mechanisms to ensure the delivery of gender issues. Keywords: gender mainstreaming, development

Abstract

This paper reviews the issue of child trafficking as a transnational crime is also related to globalization. By browsing a variety of documents and books related to child trafficking, this paper gives an overview of the humanitarian issues for the global and local level. In the end, child trafficking is happening in various parts of the world have threatened the existence of human dignity and the future of child endangering.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to identified and described the fear of crime level differentiation among goods transport drivers and private vehicle drivers when they crossed the Trans Sumatra, Lampung Province. This research was also clarified the mechanism of coping (adjustment) to the fear of crime level between goods transport drivers and private vehicle drivers through the journey crossed the Trans Sumatera, Lampung Province. This research used a quantitative approach, meanwhile the type of the research was explanative. The total number of respondents were 200 people. Related to the result of different test calculation, there was a significant fear of crime rate differentiation between freight drivers and private vehicle drivers. In this case the freight drivers have higher average rank for the fear of crime rate compared to the private vehicle drivers. Keywords: perceived risk, fear of crime, coping strategies

Furthermore, this paper also presented growth opportunities identification and handling of organized crime in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to identify and explain  trends  in crime statistics  in the area of  criminal  law  Bandar  Lampung  Police  Resort  in  2007-2011.  This study uses  a quantitative approach,  as for  the type  of research used is  descriptive. Secondary data  used in  this study  include official   crime  statistics  in 2007-2011 were  sourced  from Bandar Lampung Police Resort, especially Puskodal  Ops and Criminal,  and data on  demographic  developments  derived  from the Central Bureau  of Statistics of Bandar  Lampung.  The results of  the analysis  showed  the total crime rate in 2007-2011 in the city of Bandar Lampung is fluctuating up and down. The peak value  is  the total  crime  rate  in 2009,  which amounted to 24.2. Then followed  in 2010  (23.3)  and  in 2007 (22.2). In this case, the crime of theft by weighting has a fairly high crime rate compared to other types of crimes.Kata Kunci: Crime trends, demographics.

Abstract

Increasing the news about crimes committed in the province of Lampung, consciously or not, affect the pattern of community life. Many aspects (activities) productive hampered by fear are caused. The real implications of the rise of the news that is the limited / inhibition of community activities in public spaces or simply to mobilize someplace. This study illustrates the differences in the level of perceived risk, fear of crime, and community coping mechanisms that move in the two regions with the highest crime rate in the province of Lampung. The approach used in this research is quantitative, while the research method used is described and an explanatory. The number of samples in this study amounted to 80 people who are living and active communities in two districts / cities in Lampung province that has the highest crime rate. The results of different test (two independent samples test - Mann Whitney) were conducted on three variables show that that there are differences in the level of perceived risk, fear of crime, and significant coping mechanism between perceptional respondents who move in North Lampung and in Bandar Lampung (the calculation in three variables Asymp Sig <0.05). Referring to the descriptive overview of the response variable in all three assessments indicates that respondents who move in North Lampung give a higher assessment category compared with respondents who move in Bandar Lampung. In this case, the circumstances in Bandar Lampung tend to be more favorable in terms of safety aspects when compared with North Lampung.

Abstract

The study was carried out to obtain the anatomy of conflict and spreading patterns by region in Tanggamus, Lampung province. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used is data intensity (frequency) for both that are still in the form of conflict or potential conflict that has occurred in Tanggamus in 2014. The results of this study indicate that (1) Tanggamus have a fairly wide area coverage from one region to another. The condition can be an opportunity or obstacle, even can also be a threat to the welfare of society. To that end, the provision of physical and non-physical infrastructure that is easily accessible/used by the public should be of particular concern for the stakesholders in Tanggamus. (2) Regarding to social conflict in Tanggamus, when referring to the data in the previous year (2014), showed that Tanggamus has the potential conflicts that quite alarming when it is not carried out a series of efforts to prevent conflict. The results of the identification of the data shows that there are 22 regions with the potential for conflict in this region. and; (3) There are variations in the background there is the potential for social conflict in Tanggamus, based on the field/category of potential conflict, it appears that at every district has a distinctive pattern. There is one case of potential conflict that comes from social factors, and in other cases the economic factor comes to land/agrarian.Keywords: Mapping, social conflict

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui dan menjelaskan persepsi risiko transportasi pada warga yang melakukan mobilitas Nonpermanen dari Kota Bandar Lampung menuju DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan eksplanatif. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini mencapai 520 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian risiko (risk assessment) yang mencakup variabel, kemungkinan (probability), konsekuensi (consequence), dan khawatir (worry) menunjukkan pola yang hampir serupa. Dalam hal ini, responden memberikan penilaian bahwa untuk variabel kemungkinan (probability) berada pada level sedang, adapun variabel konsekuensi (consequence) juga berada level sedang, dan sedangkan variabel khawatir (worry) berada pada level yang tinggi.Kata kunci: Persepsi, risiko, transportasi umum
