Abstract

Layanan dan infrastruktur telekomunikasi merupakan bagian penting dari kehidupan modern karena hampir di segala bidang membutuhkan hal tersebut seperti pendidikan, pemerintahan, ekonomi dan sebagainya. Oleh karena pentingnya sektor telekomunikasi di Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan maka perlu evaluasi tentang penyebaran layanan dan infrastrukturnya selain dilihat dari sisi fungsional dan perkembangan teknologinya. Provinsi Papua adalah provinsi terbesar di Indonesia namun justru memiliki layanan telekomunikasi yang paling sedikit dan terbatas. Demikian pula untuk penyebaran layanan ke kabupaten maupun ke distrik (kecamatan) masih belum merata. Hal tersebut terbukti dari laporan hasil distribusi pita frekuensi yang hanya 1,5% untuk kawasan Maluku dan Papua serta kerapatan layanan tiap kabupaten yang ditunjukkan pada hasil penelitian ini.

Abstract

Jaringan Metro Ethernet umumnya didefinisikan sebagai bridge dari suatu jaringan atau menghubungkan wilayah yang terpisah bisa juga menghubungkan LAN dengan WAN atau backbone network yang umumnya dimiliki oleh service provider. Admission control adalah suatu mekanisme yang mencegah jaringan mengalami over-loaded. Jika QoS yang diminta tidak dapat disediakan, maka jaringan tidak akan mengirimkan tanda ke aplikasi untuk memulai mengirimkan data. Jika aplikasi telah memulai pengiriman data, maka sumber daya pada jaringan yang sudah dipesan aplikasi tersebut akan terus dikelola secara end-to-end sampai aplikasi tersebut selesai. Didalam penelitian ini akan di lihat pengaruh Algoritma Lucent dan CAC pada Router Cisco yang di implementasikan dengan simulasi OPNET 14.0. Akan dilihat performansi dari 2 buah alogoritma tersebut, dengan karakteristik Distribusi trafik yang berbeda beda untuk 3 layanan, voice, video dan data.

Abstract

Academic performance is an important key to student success or failure. Therefore, academic performance prediction become a popular research on education. In general, several researches used GPA to predicting academic performance. However, there are some aspect that also plays a role in student academic performance, like friend relationship. So, this paper will analyze the correlation between academic performance and friend relationship. Friendship will be seen from communication frequency between students when become University delegation. Each students friend will have weight to show their closeness. In this paper, proposed method gives friendship weight based on communication frequency proportion between student among all student in one faculty. Indeed, close friends have a higher weight than other friends. So, the friendship weight sorted into descending order to get the closest friend. Then, their GPA convert into academic label, i.e. cumlaude, excellent, very good, or drop out. Furthermore, label will be compared to obtaining validation of our hypotheses that friendship plays a role in academic performance achievement. We use scholar student delegation dataset in competition from year 2015 in 7 study programme with 160 scholar students. Experimental results showed that the proposed method can predict academic performance 43% from the total data sample.

Abstract

The development of sensor technology for early warning at an affordable price makes it possible to be implemented in the community. Therefore, an application is needed to send this early warning information to community members and warning response centers in real-time by considering the distance from the location of the incident. So, in this research, we proposed a dissemination application for early warning in a community (DissApps). The application was build using Code Igniter Framework, MySQL database, Mapquests, and Wablas API. This application can be used for disseminating emergency response situations such as thievery, a natural disaster such as earthquake, flood, forest fire.

Abstract

Background: Recently, WhatsApp has become the world's most popular text and voice messaging application with 1.5 billion users. A lot of WhatsApp Application Programming Interface (API) has also been established to be connected to other applications. On the other hand, the development of natural language processing (NLP) for WhatsApp messages has snowballed. There are extensive studies on the dissemination information using WhatsApp but the study on NLP involving data from WhatsApp is lacking.Objective: This study aims to implement NLP in smart dissemination applications by using WhatsApp API.Methods: We build a framework that embeds an intelligent system based on the NLP in WhatsApp API to disseminate a dynamic message. Some of the sentences are used to evaluate the accuracy of this application.Results: Smart dissemination consists of dynamic filter and dynamic content. Dynamic filter was conducted by using the POS tagger and clause statement. Meanwhile, dynamic content was built by using the replace MySQL function. There are twofold limitation: the application could not transform a message that matches rule <3> with conjunction “dan”; has the same attribute before and after <CC> tag; and the maximum of the logical operator is one type for coordinating conjunction (AND/OR) in one sentence.Conclusion: Our framework can be used for dynamic dissemination of messages using dynamic message content and dynamic message recipient with an accuracy of 95% from twenty sample messages.
