Abstract

This article aims to describe and analyze gender relations and the division of roles between men and women in the life of the Hubula tribe in Kampung Isaima, DIstrik Usilimo, Jayawijaya Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative ethnographic approach. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes the stages of data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results showed that there was participation in production and reproduction activities, husband and wife did the division of labor based on the consensus that they had previously discussed. However, despite the participation of men / husbands, the share of women in production and reproduction activities is still larger. Then in social activities, men take a bigger portion.

Abstract

This research, which is located in Merauke Regency, aims to identify two things; first, tracing the framework for developing tourist destinations based on local wisdom of the Marori Tribe, second, finding the correlation of local wisdom of the Marori Tribe which was adopted as a development of culture-based tourism in the Wasur National Park area, Merauke Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data was collected by means of interviews, literature studies, and documentation as a complement. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data display, as well as drawing conclusions and data verification (conclusion drawing and data verification). The results of this study state that the development of cultural tourism based on local wisdom carried out by the Marori Tribe in Wasur National Park has included all components in the framework of developing tourist destinations, namely attractions, accessibility, amenities, ancillary services, and institutions

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the process of Acculturation of Religion and Sacredness in the Lanny Tribe in Lanny Jaya Regency. Then, analyzing the form of religious acculturation and sacredness in the Lanny tribe in Lanny Jaya Regency. As well as uncovering the Implications of Acculturation of Religion and Sacredness to the Lanny Tribe in Lanny Jaya Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. Determination of key informants is done in a snowball manner by determining key informants who guide the researcher in determining the next informant. Data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation, and focus group discussions. Data analysis includes the stages of preparing data, reading all data, coding data, analyzing data, and interpreting data by putting it in the form of interpretive narratives. The results showed that the acculturation process was carried out with the process of introducing Christian religious teachings which was carried out peacefully and persuasively, even though there had been tension, but it did not last long. forms of acculturation that occur include substitution, syncretism, addition, deculturation, and rejection. These forms of acculturation experience their respective adjustments, both from traditional sacred practices and the Christian religion. The implications of acculturation have a very significant impact on changes in the lifestyle of the Lanny people, such as orientation in life.
