Abstract

This study aims to determine the promotion strategy of new student admissions at Raudhatul Athfal Perwanida 3 Palembang. The type of research used is field research (filed research) using a case study method approach (case study) which is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques namely interviews, observation, and documentation. For data analysis techniques with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are first, the promotion strategy used is a strategy to win the competition, a tactical strategy, and a value strategy. Second, the supporting factors in the implementation of the promotion strategy are having a clear segment, a fairly good brand, the trust of the public and alumni is still relatively high, and the advancement of information technology. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are that information technology facilities are still minimal, there are no special human resources for managing technology-based promotional media, and a small promotional budget. Third, there is no involvement of the foundation in thinking and determining the direction of development, the foundation's low attention to students who excel, and minimal providing information technology facilities provided by the foundation.

Abstract

The artilce was a correlational study which aims to determine the effect of the contribution of interpersonal communication and perceptions of the principal's leadership style on the teacher's commitment to carry out tasks. The population and research sample were public high school teachers in the city of Palembang. There were 22 public high schools in Palembang City with a total of 1,269 people. Data collection techniques were carried out in four ways, namely through observation, distributing questionnaires, and documentation, and interviews. Further data analysis was performed using the SPSS Ver computer program. The results can be concluded that the interpersonal communication variable (X1) has a significant effect on teacher commitment in carrying out the task (Y), the perception variable about the principal's leadership style (X2) has a significant effect on the teacher's commitment in carrying out the task (Y), and the interpersonal communication variable (X1) and the perception of the principal's leadership style (X2) simultaneously has a significant effect on teacher commitment in carrying out assignments (Y). Abstract

Work habits and work discipline of a group of individuals are two factors that influence the professionalism of OKU Selatan High School teachers in carrying out teaching assignments. In line with its objectives, this research examines the effect of these two variables on teacher professionalism in the new normal era. Quantitative methods are used with data collected through questionnaires and observation. Data analysis techniques using parametric statistics through linear regression testing. The results of the study succeeded in proving that partially work habits have a significant influence on the professionalism of teacher work. Likewise, work discipline has a significant influence on the professionalism of teacher work; In simultaneous testing it was found that in the new normal era, work habits along with work discipline had a significant influence on the professionalism of SMA teachers in OKU Selatan in carrying out teaching assignments.

Abstract

This study determined (1) the effect of principal’s leadership effectiveness on teacher’s performance, (2) the effect of adversity quotient on teacher’s performance, (3) the influence of organizational culture on teacher’s performance, and (4) the effect of the effectiveness leadership, adversity quotient, and organizational culture on the performance of high school teachers in Pulau Rimau District, Banyuasin Regency. The sample in this study were 101 teachers who teach in all high school/MA level in Pulau Rimau District. The technique of collecting data is using questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using inferential statistics, simple linear regression test and multiple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that the results of multiple linear regression hypothesis testing between leadership effectiveness variables (X1), adversity quotient (X2) and organizational culture (X3) on the teacher’s performance (Y) the value of the regression equation constant is 28.622 and the coefficient value of the independent variable b1 is 0.207, b2 is 0.215 and b3 is 0.561. This means that the effectiveness of leadership, adversity quotient and organizational culture has increased significantly on teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and identify: (1) Implementation of the Special Job Fair (BKK) at SMK Negeri 1 Gelumbang; Obstacles faced at BKK SMK Negeri 1 Gelumbang. This study is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects were the Head of BKK, BKK staff, Principal of SMK N 1 Gelumbang, and alumni at SMK Negeri 1 Gelumbang. Data collection techniques were interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis technique was carried out in four stages: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, (4) data withdrawal. The results of the research showed (1) Implementation of BKK SMK Negeri 1 Gelumbang Activities is carried out through Planning, Implementation, Supervision; (2) Obstacles in implementing BKK SMK Negeri 1 Gelumbang activities are internal and external obstacles.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher professionalism and teacher work commitment on the quality of teaching of Class X students in Middle School in Lempuing District. To achieve these objectives, using quantitative research methods. This research was conducted by SMA/MA in Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, with a sample of 174 teachers from 8 SMA/MA selected by purposive sampling technique and used as the study population. Data collection techniques are systematic observation, literature study, questionnaires, and documentation. The operational definitions of the variables that will be presented are the operational definitions of the variables of professionalism (X 1 ), teacher work commitment (X 2 ) and the quality of learning of class X students of middle school in Lempuing sub-district ( Y). Based on the research that has been done, the results show that (1) there is a positive influence between teacher professionalism on the learning quality of class X Middle School in Lempuing sub-district, (2) there is a positive influence between teacher commitment to the quality of learning for class X Middle School in Lempuing sub-district, and (3) there is a positive influence between teacher professionalism and teacher commitment to the quality of learning for class X Middle School in the Lempuing sub-district.

Abstract

This study intends to describe and assess the production unit management of SMK Negeri 1 Gelumbang, including implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Descriptive qualitative research is what this study is. procedures for gathering data through observation, interviews, and documentation, followed by methods for analyzing data that include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing. According to the study’s overall findings, management has been successfully implemented at SMK Negeri 1 Gelumbang’s production unit. Beginning with the planning, organizing, carrying out, monitoring, and evaluation of what has been accomplished and identifying the issues that are impeding the implementation of the Production Unit. Product marketing from each production unit of knowledge competence is also fairly good, and they are beginning to use digital marketing through social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp, which can be accessed both inside and outside the educational setting.

Abstract

This study examines the extent to which certification allowances and motivation affect teacher’s performance in improving the quality of public elementary school education in Pemulutan Induk District. This is a quantitative with descriptive approach. The sample in this study was 87 respondents. The questionnaire is provided in the form of a URL https://forms.gle/dhHt23H7tgmPmKX56 as instrument, then analyzed descriptively using the SPSS version 25. The findings of this study show that certification allowances and motivation affect teacher’s performance in improving the quality education partially and simultaneously. It gives new insight to improve education quality, the principals and all stakeholders should give attention to the certification allowances, and teacher’s motivation, and it will improve the teacher’s performance.

Abstract

Leadership is a birth from a protracted process of change in a person rather than a position or title. Teacher performance is always the center of attention because it is one of the factors in improving student achievement, so that teacher performance is always considered and various efforts are made to improve teacher performance. The infrastructure resources that Gunung Raja District schools have to support the educational process are insufficient to assist teachers in their instruction and prevent the development of students’ knowledge and abilities. The researcher is motivated to study "The Influence of Principal Leadership and Infrastructure Support on the Performance of Public Elementary School Teachers in Tanjung Raja District" in light of these circumstances. The survey research approach was employed in this study. 262 instructors, including the principals of 26 public primary schools in the Tanjung Raja District, made up the study’s population. Out of a total population of 262 respondents in 26 public elementary schools in Tanjung Raja District, the researchers selected 144 participants In this research, the technique and data collection that researchers use is through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The conclusions: The effectiveness of the teachers is significantly influenced by the head of the school’s leadership. The performance of the teachers improves in direct proportion to the amount of leadership exercised by school administrators. The infrastructure has a considerable impact on the caliber of instructor performance. The quality of the school’s infrastructure and its infrastructure infrastructure will affect the teacher’s performance. Infrastructure has significantly and significantly impacted the principle of the school’s leadership.

Abstract

This study describes in depth the Principal’s Strategy in Improving Learning Management at SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Megang. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using interview methods, observation methods, and documentation with research instruments in the form of observation guidelines and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, research informants namely the principal, deputy principal, and teacher. The results of the study show that: (1) Implementation of Learning Management at Gunung Megang 1 Public High School includes all implementation and activities carried out in a transparent and open manner and then always coordinates with the school committee and involves both academic and non-academic (2) Supporting factors in the leadership of school principals in SMA is the support of all teachers and staff, (3) supervision carried out by the principal at SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Megang, Muara Enim Regency, always evaluates every activity.
