Abstract

This literature research aims to analyze problems in integrated thematic learning in the use of discovery learning models in elementary schools. This analysis is motivated by the many thesis research problems that have not resulted from the review process of previous research findings and observations comprehensively. The problems raised were limited to seeing the conditions of learning in the field in a simple manner. The research object was 25 articles of thesis research results. Based on the results of the analysis and synthesis of 25 thesis research articles, there were 13 (52%) articles that listed and disclosed problems in general and 12 (48%) articles listed and revealed specific research problems. This shows that there are still many problem descriptions revealed in thesis research that use general problem categories and are not directly related to alternative solutions used to solve learning problems in elementary schools.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan mengidentifikasikan nilai-nilai edukatif lagu-lagu Minang untuk membangun karakter peserta didik. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian konseptual (literatur review), teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi berperan serta, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis hermeneutik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lagu Minangkabau dan Kampuang nan Jauah di Mato memiliki 9 (sembilan) nilai-nilai edukatif, yaitu: (1) Ketuhanan (syarak atau agamo), (2) kecintaan terhadap ranah Minang, (3) persaudaraan dan gotong-royong, (4) kesatuan dan kebersamaan, (5) musyawarah dan mufakat, (6) adil dan damai, (7) keteguhan hati, (8) waspada, dan 9) disiplin. Nilai-nilai edukatif lagu-lagu Minang tersebut dijadikan sebagai pedoman dalam mengarahkan pikiran, tindakan, dan perilaku peserta didik, sehingga dapat diwujudkan peserta didik yang beradat, beradab, berkarakter. Kata kunci: nilai-nilai edukatif, adat Minangkabau, lagu Minang, pembangunan karakter Abstract This research aims to uncover and identify the educational values of Minang songs for student character building. The research method is a conceptual research (literature review), data collection techniques using participant observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes, while data analysis techniques using hermeneutic analysis. The results showed that Minangkabau and Kampuang nan Jauah di Mato songs has 9 (nine) educational values, namely: (1) belief (syarak or agamo), (2) love of the realm Minang, (3) fraternity and mutual assistance, (4) unity and togetherness, (5) deliberation and consensus, (6) fair and peaceful, (7) courage, (8) alert, and (9) discipline. Educational values of Minang songs are used as guidelines in directing thoughts, actions, and behavior of students, so it can be realized the students were well-mannered, cultured, and charactered. Abstract

This article aims to discover, interpret, and identify the educational values embodied in the song of Minangkabau creation by NN. The identification process is done by a multidisciplinary hermeneutic analysis. Interpretation is generated by associating the aspects of language, music/songs, psychological, socio-cultural, and educational, so it can be identified seven (7) educational values. The educational values is a means to educate learners to perform the actions and behaviors that reflect proper Minang people. Education and learning as a means of cultural inheritance are obliged to explore, socialize, actualize, and cultivate the educational values on an ongoing basis in order to create learners who are well-mannered, civilized and noble character

Abstract

The background of this service is the lack of knowledge and skills of teachers in making music as a cultural literacy for elementary school teachers. The purpose of this service is to improve the experience and skills of primary school teachers in learning the art of music as a means of cultural literacy for elementary school teachers. This service method uses the seminar method and hands-on training. The results of the dedication showed an increase in the knowledge and skills of teachers in making music art learning a cultural literacy for elementary school teachers. The implications of this service can be used as a reference by teachers and education practitioners to improve the quality of art learning and its relation to cultural literacy.

Abstract

The implementation of the curriculum 2013 with an integrated thematic approach in the field is still not optimal and there are still many low student learning outcomes. This study aims to improve and enhance the learning outcomes of the art of music by applying the Project-Based Learning model to integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 2 (two) cycles. Data analysis was performed by taking the average results of qualitative and quantitative analyses. Data collection techniques and tools use observation, interviews, document analysis, and tests. The results showed that improvements and improvements: (1) RPP cycle I with a score of 87.28% (Good) has increased to 94.44% (Very Good); (2) the implementation of learning by teachers in the first cycle with a score of 83.33% (Good) has increased in the second cycle to 95.86% (Very Good); (3) The implementation of learning by students in the first cycle of 80.95% (Good), has increased in the second cycle to 90.48% (Very Good); and (4) the results of learning music in the first cycle obtained an average of 73.12, has increased in the second cycle to 83.67.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the success of students in integrated thematic learning using the take and give a cooperative model in grade IV SD Negeri 15 Ulu Gadut. This type of research is classroom action research. Using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were classroom teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners, and 25 students of SD Negeri 15 Ulu Gadut. The conclusions of this study are: 1) the assessment of the percentage of the RPP got a previous increase 0f 80.55% in the first cycle and an increase of 94.44% in the second cycle. 2) teacher aspect increased 76.78% in cycle I increased 92.85% in cycle II. 3) aspect of students experienced an increase of 76.78% in the first cycle and an increase 0f 92.85% in the second cycle. 4) the conclusion of student learning has increased in the first cycle the percentage completeness is 64% to.89,12% in the second cycle.

Abstract

Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses bertujuan untuk membuat siswa termotivasi untuk belajar IPA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA dengan pedekatan keterampilan proses. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 08 Sungai Rumbai yang berjumlah 34 orang, terdiri dari 14 orang laki- laki dan 20 orang perempuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses Aspek kognitif siswa  memperoleh  nilai 90, pada spek afektif siswa adalah 78%, dan pada aspek psikomotor adalah 84 %. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 08 Sungai Rumbai.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar penjumlahan pecahan berpenyebut berbeda dengan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik (PMR) di Kelas V SDN 19 Paninjauan, Kecamatan X Koto, Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari II siklus. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 19 Paninjauan yang berjumlah 22 orang. Rata-rata perolehan pada penilaian RPP adalah 85,4% dengan kriteria sangat baik, siklus II 93,72% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Aspek guru pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 81,25% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan siklus II diperoleh 89,09% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Pada siklus I perolehan hasil belajar dengan rata-rata 52,23% dengan kriteria kurang dan pada siklus II 77,15% kriteria baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pendekatan PMR dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar penjumlahan pecahan berpenyebut berbeda di Kelas V SDN 19 Paninjauan.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik materi tema ekosistem dengan menerapkan strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah di Kelas V SD. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (research action). Dalam penelitian ini digunakan gabungan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V pada Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Perolehan data pada siklus 1 tentang hasil belajar siswa diperoleh skor capaian keseluruhan siswa pada siklus I yaitu 71,8 atau 72%. Perolehan nilai pada  siklus II terhadap ranah kognitif dengan rata-rata 83,91, aspek afektif 82,5 dan aspek psikomotor 84,2, rata-rata nilai dari keseluruhan aspek adalah 83,53. Pada siklus II pertemuan II diperoleh nilai rata-rata aspek kognitif 94,19, aspek afektif 93,7, dan aspek psikomotor 93,3 sehingga rata-rata dari ketiga aspek tersebut adalah 93,73. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat dengan  penerapan strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (Problem Based Learning) dalam pembelajaran tema ekosistem muatan IPA kelas V SD.
