Abstract

AbstrakKota Tanjungpinang merupakan ibukota Provinsi Kepulauan Riau yang juga termasuk daerah pesisir. Sebagai Kota yang sedang berkembang, maka kepadatan penduduk di Kota Tanjungpinang terus meningkat secara signifikan. Dampak akibat padatnya jumlah penduduk yaitu alih fungsi lahan sebagai lahan permukiman, industri, sarana dan prasarana serta kegiatan lainnya. Salah satu alih fungsi lahan yang terjadi yaitu alih fungsi kawasan mangrove yang menyebabkan rusaknya ekosistem di daerah pesisir dan lautnya. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran akan dampak rusaknya ekosistem mangrove di daerah pesisir serta kurangnya pemahaman terhadap upaya pelestarian ekosistem mangrove menyebabkan permasalahan tersebut terus terjadi. Pengabdian masyarakat yang diadakan oleh tim Pengabdian Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji (UMRAH) ditujukan kepada masyarakat Kota Tanjungpinang dengan metode pendidikan/edukasi kepada masyarakat Tanjungpinang untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang peran pentingekosistem mangrove bagi daerah pesisir, meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepedulianmasyarakat dalam melestarikan daerah pesisir serta mendorong masyarakat untuk ikut melakukan konservasi mangrove. Kegiatan pengabdian berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini terlihat dari keinginan masyarakat untuk ikut menandatangani janji pelestarian lingkungan.Kata Kunci: edukasi masyarakat, pelestarian, daerah pesisirAbstractTanjungpinang City is the capital of Riau Islands Province which is also a coastal area. As a developing city, the population density in Tanjungpinang City continues to increase significantly. The impact due to dense population is the conversion of land as residential land, industry, facilities and infrastructure as well as other activities. One of the functions of land conversion is the conversion of mangrove areas which causes damage to the ecosystem in the coastal and marine areas. Lack of knowledge and awareness of the impact of damage to mangrove ecosystems in coastal areas and a lack of understanding of efforts to conserve mangrove ecosystems causes these problems to continue to occur. Community service provided by the Raja Ali Haji Maritime University (UMRAH) community service team is aimed at the people of the city of Tanjungpinang with education methods to the Tanjungpinang community to provide knowledge about the important role of mangrove ecosystems in coastal areas, increase public awareness and concern in preserving coastal areas and encourage the community to participate in mangrove conservation. Community service activities went well. This can be seen from the desire of the community to join in signing environmental pledges.Key Word: community education, preservation, coastal area

Abstract

AbstrakSaat ini banyak sekali terjadi kasus korupsi di pemerintahan maupun sektor swasta dilakukan oleh para lelaki yang sudah memiliki istri dan anak.Dengan adanya penyuluhan ini, diharapkan wanita khususnya anggota BKOW bisa menjadi pelopor dirumah tangga untuk membentuk keluarga anti korupsi baik kepada anak dan suami. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan 4 metode yakni: ceramah, dialog, bedah kasus, dan best practice. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, peserta menjadi antusias, yang terlihat dari banyaknya pertanyan yang diajukan serta terbentuknya komunikasi yang baik. Pengabdian ini perlu dilanjutkan kembali, di organisasi-organisasi wanita lainnya agar penyampaian iniĀ  mencakup banyak wanita aktif di kepulauan Riau.Kata Kunci: Penyuluhan Hukum, Korupsi, Organisasi Wanita.AbstractNowadays there are many cases of corruption in the government and private sector carried out by men who already have wives and children. With this counseling, it is hoped that women, especially BKOW members, can be pioneers in the household to form an anti-corruption family for both children and husbands. This devotional activity is carried out with 4 methods namely: lectures, dialogue, case surgery, and best practice. As a result of this activity, participants became enthusiastic, which was evident from the many questions raised as well as the formation of good communication. This service needs to be resumed, in other women's organizations in order for this delivery to include many active women in Riau islands.Keywords: Legal Counseling, Corruption, Women's Organizations.

Abstract

Bintan Regency community has long been known to have various folklore geniuses. But not many have been appointed as objects of research, particularly in terms of the value of their local wisdom. This study used descriptive qualitatative method. Data collection using interview teachniques and documents. Data analysis uses content analysis techniques. The result obtained showed that folklore district of Bintan community contained local wisdom values such as the value of Islamics religion, moral value, social values, hard work values, and educational values.

Suku Akit (suku laut) who originally lived as a nomadic person lives in sampan. They have occupied houses on the land. Their houses were obtained through the government program Ministry of Social Affairs. This study described the existence of Suku Akit. Abstract

STEAM merupakan suatu pendekatan modern yang mampu menghasilkan pembelajaran yang menarik dan memberikan kerangka untuk penerapan konsep sains dalam memecahkan masalah sehari-hari dengan sistematika dan seni yang sesuai. Pendekatan STEAM dianjurkan untuk diterapkan di sekolah sebagai penyempurna dari pendekatan STEM yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Namun, dinamika dan perubahan pendekatan pembelajaran ini dirasakan sangat memberatkan bagi guru. Mitra pengabdian di MGMP Biologi Kota Tanjungpinang mengeluhkan cepatnya pergantian strategi pembelajaran yang dianut. Anggota MGMP belum tuntas berkenalan dengan pendekatan STEM, saat ini sudah muncul lagi pembaharuannya dalam bentuk pendekatan STEAM. Kesulitan yang dialami mitra ini membuat mereka tidak mampu untuk menerapkan pendekatan STEAM dalam pembelajaran biologi. Berdasarkan permintaan MGMP Biologi Kota Tanjungpinang, maka kami merumuskan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra tersebut. Bentuk pengabdian yang dilakukan berupa kegitan pelatihan dan pendampingan penerapan pendekatan STEAM bagi MGMP Biologi Kota Tanjungpinang. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan melalui rangkaian pelatihan tatap muka dengan guru-guru, dilanjutkan dengan penerapan dan uji coba pembelajaran dari hasil pelatihan yang sudah dilakukan. Pada bagian akhir dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui keberhasilan program pengabdian dan respons peserta.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the problems that exist in the use of the Google Classroom-based Learning Management System and e-learning as an online learning media in eleven science grader of MAN Tanjungpinang. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were eleven science grader of MAN Tanjungpinang. The sampling technique was used total sampling technique where the entire population was sampled so that the number of research sample were 55 students. The research instruments used in this study are a questionnaire instrument to obtain problematic data that occurs in the use of the Google Classroom-based Learning Management System and E-Learning. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average percentage of problematic use of LMS based on Google Classroom and e-learning at MAN Tanjungpinang was 63.64% which was included in the high problematic category. Abstract

This research and development will produce an integrated science module with an integrated blended learning model for flood disasters that is valid, practical and effective. Prior to development, it is necessary to analyze the problem. One part of the problem analysis is a needs analysis. This study aims to analyze the need for the development of an integrated science module based on integrated blended learning for flood disasters. The object of this research is the teacher and students who provide responses through a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out with simple statistics, namely percentages and also qualitatively. The results of the study stated that teachers and students agreed that during the pandemic period science learning was carried out using a blended learning model. Teachers and students also agree that science learning is integrated with events in the school environment, one of which is the flood disaster. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop an integrated Science Module that helps the implementation of learning during the pandemic and integrates disasters that exist in the school environment.

Abstract

Motivated by the needs of students for teaching materials on Respiratory System material, the researcher decided to develop teaching material in the form of electronic handout to support the learning of Respiratory System material. This study aims to produce an e-Handout based on Discovery Learning for Respiratory System Material that is valid, practical, and effective. This research uses a 4D development model with four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Based on the results of the media and material validity test of e-Handout based on Discovery Learning for Respiratory System Material, the results were very valid. The results of the practicality of media get results with the criteria very practical. The media effectiveness assessment received the very effective criterion with an average classical completion of 86.6%. Based on the results of the research obtained, it can be concluded that the e-Handout based on Discovery Learning for Respiratory System Material is declared valid, practical, and effective for use in learning Biology of Respiratory System material. The developed e-Handout is packaged in a pre-existing form and can be used for independent learning. This research is expected to be a reference for other researchers who will develop similar products on other Biology materials.

Abstract

This research is a research and development with the ADDIE model. In the media and material validation process carried out by lecturers and teachers using instruments in the form of questionnaires, to measure practicality by teachers and students using instruments in the form of questionnaires, and effectiveness for students was measured using learning outcomes instruments consisting of 20 questions. The results of media development in the form of e-modules, namely the results of the validation of material experts obtained 94%, the validation of media experts obtained 90% in very valid criteria. Then for the implementation results in the form of teacher practice results obtained 96.6%, student practice results obtained 96.91% on very practical features and student effectiveness results obtained at 0.71 including the high category calculated on the N-Gain formula and for classical mastery a proportion 93.10% is obtained with a very effective mixture. Based on the results of the research, it can be interpreted that the science learning e-module is equipped with a game about the classification of practical living things in terms of attractiveness, ease of use, material adjustment and effectiveness in terms of KKM achievement.
