Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the pattern of education for children with mental disabilities in an unusual school, SLB Dharma Dharma Bakti Pertiwi, Beringin Raya, Kemiling Sub-district, Bandar Lampung. This study is qualitative research. The techniques of collecting data are interview and documentation, while the technique of data analysis is qualitative analysis. The conclusions of this study are: (1) The pattern of inclusive education implemented is regular or general education for children with special needs using a school-based curriculum or KTSP. The strategies used in the approach to the students are:  students are considered as friends, being patient and individual. Instructional media used are textbooks, pictures and props as well as tools and materials for skill practice; (2) The special pattern of education for SLB students are general subjects by providing general subjects with verbal and nonverbal language or giving examples and demonstrations. Skill education and self fostering are given in order that the students will have special skills to take care of themselves and not depend on others. Education of language speaking skills is carried out empathically and by giving motivation to the students to follow the learning activities well, to be able to communicate with friends, teachers, parents and people around him;  (3) The level of absorption of the material with the students of SLB Dharma Dharma Bakti Pertiwi is adapted to the students’ ability. If the students do not understand and comprehend the material presented, the teacher will repeat until the students know and understand.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to identify barriers and opportunities in the implementation of gender mainstreaming in strategic developmentof Central Lampung regency. The approach used is a qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews, questionnaires, review of documentation, and focus group discussion (FGD). The study revealed,: (1) the implementation of the legal framework is still limited; (2) lack of commitment on the implementation of gender mainstreaming in individual and institutional levels; (3) Working Group and gender focal points have not been functioning optimally; (4) there is no gender disaggregated data as well as the mechanism of action has not been established to formulate gender- disaggregated data; (5) gender analysis tools is used on a limited basis by the Badan PP dan KB, while other agencies have not implemented this analysis tool . In addition, the study also found several factors driving the implementation of Gender Mainstreaming in Central Lampung regency, (1) the readiness of human resources to carry out gender mainstreaming in the planning, implementation ,monitoring and evaluation of development; (2) the encouragement of civil society to the government in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development and the establishment of mechanisms to ensure the delivery of gender issues. Keywords: gender mainstreaming, development

Abstract

As known the family has a strategic role, good or bad family structure can affect both the growth of the childs personality or bad, in this case the socialization process has an important role in the formation of the childs personality through plant values, norms or customs that prevail both within the family and the community. The purpose of this study to clarify the factors inhibiting the process of socialization into the values of Islam to the youth in the family. This study used qualitative methods of data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and literature study, while data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study found that the factors inhibiting the process of socialization of Islamic values for adolescents within the family, the first internal factors that condition the parents lack of communication between parents and children and the ability to nurture a child, both the childs condition, such as emotional lability and self-control weak. Then from the first extern factors peers well enough and that both conditions are unfavorable environment.Keywords: the socialization of Islamic values, youth, families

Abstract

PUAP is part of the implementation program PNPM Mandiri-through the help of venture capital in agribusiness ventures in accordance with grow up the potential of the agricultural village of target. Such a program is in the village of PUAP Sriagung Padang Queen who becomes the location of the research, but in execution there are obstacles PUAP cause not a maximum goal achievement program PUAP. The purpose of the research is to identify and explain barriers to the implementation of the welfare improvement efforts PUAP farmer peasants in the village of Sriagung sub-district of Padang Ratu. Research methods used are qualitative research methods. Engineering data collection using in-depth interviews, literature studies and documentation studies.  The results showed that the barriers implementation of internal factors namely PUAP include loan repayment delays, weak institutional gapoktan, remittances have not been evenly distributed, human resources are limited, and to factor in eksern, i.e. a factor of nature and culture of dependency. Thus, the need to do a little extra accompaniment, to control all implementation PUAP, ranging from planning, drafting activities, counseling, mentoring, channelling funds PUAP, and reporting, all parties concerned must be meningkatkn performance, so that the assistance provided actually helped the farmers to increase the welfare of her life. Keywords: resistance, PUAP, gapoktan

Abstract

The family got a major task in child protection. Because of the family the child is born, grow, and thrive. Through a variety of functions, the family is expected to be able to fulfill these responsibilities. This literature study intends to identify the various family functions related to child protection efforts. The results show that there are three family functions associated with the protection of children, namely: the function of socialization, social placement functions/identities, and material protection function and emotional / affective. With these three functions, the family can make the fulfillment of needs / rights of children, among other things: survival, growth and development, protection, and participate optimally in accordance with human dignity.Keywords: Family function, child protection
