Abstract

This study focuses on students' perceptions to explore and measure the elements that form religious moderation. Nine common factors are understood: understanding Islam, sharia balance, values of human beings, plurality in religion, rights of minority groups, national engagement, anti-violence, an attitude of friendship, and educational curricula. The nine factors seem to be interlinked too intimately, and therefore a theme is needed to simplify and make them more operable. This research method is quantitative with the type of explantation research and using a survey approach. The study involved 90 samples. Data analysis techniques of these factors used the help of computer programs such as SPSS software. The results demonstrated that these nine factors could be reduced to produce new names for the three main factors, namely, diversity, peace, and education. The three designations of these factors will help facilitate the approach in an effort to create an understanding of moderation among students in Islamic religious colleges.

Abstract

Impact of career development on employee performance of Islamic higher education. This research is a quantitative study using primary data obtained from a questionnaire and measured using a Likert scale. The population in this study were 75 employees at Islamic higher education institutions. The method of selecting the research sample used simple random sampling without considering the strata of the members of the population because it was considered homogeneous. The measurement and testing data analysis technique used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) using the SmartPLS 3.2 program. The results showed that career development had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Recommendations for further research are to increase the number of research variables and use the mix method as a method to enrich the study.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the contribution of the education process and the quality of graduates of the PTAI community satisfaction. The method is a survey research, data processing with software SPSS 14 for windows. Results showed there were positive and significant contribution either individually or jointly educational process and quality of graduates of community satisfaction.Keywords: Community Satisfaction, Contribution Process and Quality Graduates

Abstract

Professional competence is one of the four competencies that must be possessed by teachers. Efforts to increase professional competence as a teacher's performance certainly do not stand alone, but have a conducting factor. This study identified and tested some of these conducting factors. Three factors were tested in this study: education and training, activeness in professional organizations, and writing and publishing scientific papers. The study used a survey approach. The target population is teachers who take part in the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program in office, as many as 150 people. The sample was obtained by simple random sampling determined at 30% or a number of 60 people. Data collection using a questionnaire, distributed via google forms. Data analysis techniques using computer assistance with software SmartPLS 3.2. The research findings obtained from hypothesis testing explain that: 1) The education and training factor has a significant and positive influence of 23% on efforts to improve teacher professionalism; 2) The active factor in professional organizations has a significant and positive influence of 28.5% on efforts to increase teacher professional competence; 3) The factor of writing and publishing scientific papers has a significant and positive influence of 28.5% on efforts to increase teacher professional competence. Therefore, educational organizations can consider this finding so that they always pay attention to the factors that lead to efforts to increase teacher professional competence.

Abstract

This paper examines the analysis of the use of Tiktok as a medium for da'wah (study on IAIN Manado students). This study aims to find out, analyze, and describe the form of using Tiktok in general and the form of using Tiktok as a medium for proselytizing in IAIN Manado students. The research method used in this study is a type of field research that intends to understand the facts in the research object with a descriptive-qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained are then analyzed qualitatively through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion.The study’s results explained that Tiktok media, in general, is intensely used by students as a means of entertainment, information, and educational media. Specifically, the use of Tiktok for education in the context of instilling Islamic values through proselytizing content is quite intensely utilized by IAIN Manado students. Tiktok is seen as effective as a proselytizing medium if it is used continuously and efficiently as a proselytizing medium because it is quite accessible to students as long as the content cannot be separated from the context of Islamic teachings. Abstract

Administrasi kesiswaan merupakan Salah satu bidang pekerjaan administrasi pendidikan. Dalam administrasi peserta didik atau kesiswaan ada berbagai kegiatan yang harus dikelola dengan baik agar proses belajar-mengajar di sekolah dapat berjalan dengan lancar, tertib dan teratur. Sehingga dapat mencapai apa yang menjadi tujuan pendidikan di sekolah. Pengelolaan administrasi kesiswaan mencakup kegiatan perencanaan kesiswaan, penerimaan siswa baru, pencatatan siswa dalam buku induk, pengelompokkan siswa, kehadiran siswa di sekolah, tata tertib sekolah, mutasi, mengatur organisasi sekolah, kelulusan dan alumni, dan Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS). Dalam pelaksanaan administrasi kesiswaan tersebut, kepala sekolah, dewan guru, dan staf tata usaha memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan tujuan pendidikan secara efektif dan efisien.
