Abstract

The research on the use of mulch of Imperata cylindrica, Mucuna bracteata, and palm midrib compost on the germination and growth of Mikania micrantha had been conducted at the Laboratory of Biology and Botany Gardens, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Riau from September to November 2013. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mulch thickness of I. cylindrica, M. bracteata and palm midrib compost on the germination and growth of M. micrantha, using randomized block design, with seven treatments (M0, M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, and M6). Each treatment had seven replicates with two different thickness of mulch, i.e. 2,5 and 5 cm. The results showed that mulch of I. cylindrica, M. bracteata and palm midrib compost affected the germination and growth of weeds M. micrantha. Mulching with 2,5 cm thickness could inhibit the germination and growth of weed M. micrantha up to 100 %.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tindakan pemasangan kateter dapat menjadi tindakan yang menyelamatkan jiwa, khususnya bila traktus urinarius tersumbat atau pasien tidak mampu melakukan urinasi.Kateterisasi juga dapat digunakan untuk menentukan perubahan jumlah urin sisa dalam kemih setelah pasien buang air kecil, untuk memintas suatu yang menyumbat aliran urin, untuk menghasilkan drainase pasca operatif pada kandung kemih ,daerah vagina atau prostat, atau menyediakan cara-cara untuk memantau pengeluaran urin setiap jam pada pasien yang sakit berat. Studi pendahuluan di RS dr. R. Soetijono Blora, jumlah pasien yang terpasang kateter tahun 2011 sebanyak 1524 orang. Tujuan : 1.Tujuan umum : a.Mengetahui hubungan antara pemasangan kateter dengan kejadian ISK; b.Mengetahui hubungan antara perawatan kateter dengan ISK. 2. Tujuan khusus : a.Mendiskripsikan karakteristik pasien; b.Mengidentifikasi prosedur pemasangan kateter di RS dr. R. Soetijono Blora ; c.Mengidentifikasi prosedur perawatan kateter di RS dr. R. Soetijono Blora; d.Menganalisa hubungan antara prosedur pemasangan kateter di RS dr. R. Soetijono Blora dengan kejadian ISK; e.Menganalisa hubungan antara perawatan kateter di RS dr. R. Soetijono Blora dengan kejadian ISK. Metode Penelitian : Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan studi korelasional yang mengkaji hubungan antara variabel. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 orang pasien di RS dr. R. Soetijono Blora. Hasil Penelitian : Umur responden sebagian besar (26.7%) 41-50 tahun dan 61-70 tahun paling sedikit (6.7%) 20-30 tahun. Jenis kelamin responden paling banyak (63.3%) adalah laki-laki. Pendidikan responden paling banyak (43.3%) adalah SD, paling sedikit (6.7%) adalah perguruan tinggi. Pemasangan kateter di RS dr. R. Soetijono Blora tahun 2013 sebagian besar (76.7%) sesuai standar operasional prosedur (SOP). Perawatan kateter sebagian besar (73.3%) sisuai standar operasional prosedur (SOP). Infeksi saluran kemih di RS dr. R. Soetijono Blora tahun 2013 sebagian besar (63.3%) tidak terjadi infeksi, 36.7% terjadi infeksi saluran kemih. Simpulan : 1. Ada korelasi atau hubungan antara pemasangan kateter dengan kejadian ISK; 2.Ada korelasi atau hubungan antara perawatan kateter dengan kejadian ISK.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the most effective concentration of sucrose for a shoot induction fromcotyledon explants of Citrus nobilis from Kampar. Cotyledon explants were cultured on Murashige andSkoog (MS) medium containing sucrose at various concentrations without supplemented with growthregulators. The treatments consisted of five concentrations of sucrose, i.e. 0, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 g /l. Theresult showed that all explants on different concentrations of sucrose treatment had the percentage ofliving and the percentage of shoot induction reached 100%. The best response for shoot induction aftereight weeks of culture was observed on MS medium supplemented with 50 g/l sucrose with the number ofshoot was 2, shoot length was 4,125 cm, and leaf number was 5,74 strands.Key words: Citrus nobilis lour., concentration of sucrose, in vitro, shoot induction

Abstract

Marketing management is a process of management.  Marketing is various theoretical approaches were developed based on the empirical facts in order to arising a concept regarding the reference of action at practical level or operational and managerial level. The series of management activities, marketing management could be seen as company’s effort in dealing with more competitive global competition. Those efforts were conducted by the companies in dealing with competition through the application of marketing strategy, combined with competitive advantage strategy, as well as batik industry at Surakarta, Central Java.The growth of batik industry which is getting tighter in the middle of the various type of batik of the world, batik Indonesia has not yet losing its characteristics. Even batik of Central Java which is consider to have the richest design is still possessing its soul/spirit. Nevertheless, as neighboring countries are rapidly promoting their batik’s products through various continents, batik of Indonesia seemed made no further progress (stay still). Batik which is wear as daily clothing recently is indeed print out with batik’s motif/design. There is indeed an enlightening development in a matter of batik’s consumption nowadays. If batik was only used for certain events, today, its region of utilization has became more broaden. Batik is also often modified with other motif / design for daily clothing. Along with the times, batik is also squirming. Its fabrics is presenting with its latest design.From the result of the test toward the model within this research, using estimation of Maximum Likelihood Estimation (ML), analysis of Structural Equation Model (SEM), and the assistance of Amos 6 software toward 200 respondents of batik entrepreneurs at Surakarta, it is able to provide the explanation regarding the influence of marketing diffusion and marketing orientation toward competitive advantage in developing/increasing market performance at batik’s companies at Surakarta.Within this research, the result obtained from marketing strategy (Products, Price, Promotion, and Distribution), and Marketing Orientation, providing positive influence toward Competitive advantage with the value of first Determination Coefficients (R2) is equal to 0,841, it shows that by using marketing strategy and maximum marketing orientation, it could increase company’s competitive advantage of batik’s companies at Surakarta as much as 84,1%, the value of second Determination Coefficient (R2) is equal to 0,791, which means that by marketing strategy, marketing orientation and high competitive advantage could increase the performance of batik’s company at Surakarta as much as 79,1%.Key words       :           Marketing strategy, Marketing Orientation, Competitive Advantage, Marketing Performance

Abstract

Sistem pengajaran yang cenderung monoton yaitu denganmenekankan pada hafalan-hafalan mengakibatkan minat siswauntuk belajar IPA-fisika menjadi rendah. Hal tersebut dapatmengakibatkan hasil belajar siswa rendah pula. Untukmeningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, perlu dilakukan upayaperbaikan pada sistem pengajaran yakni dengan modelpembelajaran aktif menggunakan media pencocokan kartu indeks.Masalah yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalahbagaimanakah cara meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokokbahasan alat optik dengan menggunakan media pencocokan kartuindeks? Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar padasiswa menggunakan model pembelajaran aktif dengan mediapencocokan kartu indeks. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2Pecangaan Jepara dan merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas(PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII E dengan jumlah42 siswa dalam satu kelas. Sedangkan siswa yang mengikutipenelitian berjumlah 40 siswa. Data masukan dalam penelitian iniada 2 macam, yaitu data kuantitatif yang didapat dari tes danobservasi serta data kualitatif yang didapat dari angket. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan siklus I ke siklus II mengalamipeningkatan baik dari aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik.

Abstract

The practice of plagiarism in writing is quite common, both public and academic. Plagiarism is an act of abuse, theft, deprivation, publishing, statement, or declaring itself as a thought, idea, writing, or creation that actually belongs to someone else. For manual checking, whether a work is categorized as a work of plagiarism or a book is definitely a long time. Therefore, an application is needed that can detect the level of originality of a work more effectively, efficiently, and accountably. The application process is to find the basic words in the final assignment abstraction with the steaming method being tested. After obtaining the basic words of each word, formed gram and searched for hash values using the Rabin Karp algorithm. The final assignment abstraction hash value will be tested compared to the Final Task abstraction value in the database. It is expected to find out how much the level of plagiarism abstraction with the final task testing mechanism looking for presentation of final assignment similarity abstraction value compared to the final assignment abortion of the database and the comparison results in percent form, stored in the database and displayed in the system sequentially from the total presentation similarity of the biggest to the smallest.

Every educational institution conducts a number of efforts to satisfy its consumers, including Course and training institutions. it is not  easy to Implement consumers'satisfaction, moreover, recently tile quantity Of Course takers are higher than several years ago- It can be recognized by the limited domestic job opportunity that causes unbalanced  between the work-force increasing and tile domestic job necessity. This matter significantly leads to the increasing of unemployment In this case of the unemployment, the Course institutions  keep their existence by improving the program quality demand in relation of service quality implemented to the consumer oriented service fonn.  It happens to a large number of the Course and training institutions In Center Java, therefore they always make efforts to improve the service quality in purpose of Improving institution image By the improvement The institutions would implement the Consumer satisfaction and trust.By tile use Of Generalized Least Square (GLS) and Structural Model (SEM) that nm through AMOS 6.l' software to 300 respondents, the research explains the influence of set-vice quality  toward  brand  image consumer  satisfaction  and  trust among  the Course and training institution  In East Java.In this research, the value of the first Determination  Coefficient (R2) is 0,651. It shows that maximum service quality can increase the image of tile course and training institutions In East Java by 65.1 %. The value of the second Determination Coefficient (R2) is 0,592. It shows that with maximum set-vice quality and brand image can raise satisfaction among tile: training and course  takers in East Java by 59.2%. And the third Determination Coefficient value (R2) is 0,688. It show; that with the maximum service quality, brand image and Consumers'  satisfaction can increase the trust of the training and course takers in East Java by 68.8%.Keywords:  Training and Course Institutions in East Java, Service Quality, Brand Image, Consumer Satisfaction, Consumer Trust.

Abstract

The objective of this study are: (1) analyzing the influence of type of involvement to brand trust in every cosmetic product categoiy in East Java; (2) analyzing the influence of level of involvement to brand trust in eveiy cosmetic product category in Bast Java; (3) analyzing the influenre of attribute product to brand trust in eveiy cosmetic product category in F.ast Java:, (4) analyzing the  influence of type  of involvement to customer satisfaction in every cosmetic product category in East Java; (5) analyzing the influence of level of involvement to customer samfaction in  every  cosmetic product category in East Java; (6) analyzing the influence of attribute product to customer satisfaction in every cosmetic product category in East Java; (7) analyzing the influence of customer satisfaction to brand loyalty in every cosmetic product category in East Java; (8) analyzing the influence of brand trust to brand loyalty in every cosmetic product category  in F.ast Java and; (9) analyzing the influence of customer satsfaction to brand trust in every cosmetic product category in East Java.Populations Qf this study are women age between 20 - 50 years old that lives in East Java during the research period, using cosmetic everyday including moistumer, foundation, powder, blush on, eyes shadow, eye  brows  pencil and lipstick. The respondent is taken by snowball sampling technique to assure that each of the respondents is the member of the population. All data is analyzed with AMCS version4.01 using Structural Equation Model.The results of this study are: (1) ffpe of involvement is positively influencing customer satisfaction; (2) level of involvement is positively  influencing customer satisfaction; (3) Attribute product is positively irrfluencing customer safisfaGbon; (4) type of involvement is positively influencing brand trust (5) level of involvement is positively influencing brand trust (6) attribute product is pooitively infiuencing brand trust;(7) customer satisfaction is positively influencing brand loyalty; (8) brand trust is positively influencing brand loyalty and; (9). customer  satisfaction is positively influencing brand trust.Keywords: customer satisfaction, brand trust, brand loyalty, involvement attribute product

Abstract

The development of genetic engineering technology to produce superior hybrids cause competition among producers of hybrid com seeds getting tighter. To win this competition, Indonesia PT. DuPont should consider factors that influence consumer decisions to buy a pioneer of hybrid com seeds (P21) in terms of the marketing mix, that are  product, price, promotion and distribution.This research was conducted using a questionnaire with a sample of farmers who had bought and  planted the  seeds of hybrid corn pioneer (P21) In Bantul Regency. In this research, the researcher used 100 respondents. Validity and rellablllty tests used to measure each  item of research variables. Data analysis is  done using classical assumption test, then tested by multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and test the coefficient of determination.Keywords: decision of pruchasing, product, price, promotion and distribution

Abstract

Imunisasi merupakan salah satu bentuk intervensi kesehatan yang sangat efektif dalam upaya menurunkan angka kematian bayi dan balita. Puskesmas Gedong Air salah satu puskesmas di Bandar Lampung dengan cakupan yang baik. Permasalah pada penelitian ini adalah adakah hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu, status pekerjaan ibu, dan pendapatan dengan imunisasi dengan kelengkapan imunisasi dasar pada bayi. Jenis penelitian ini deskritif korelatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki anak bawah dua tahun di puskesmas gedng Air. Dengan jumlah sampel 100 responden. Instrument yang digunakan berupa kuessioner. Hasil analisis mennjukkan ada hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dan pendapatan keluarga dengan kelengkapan imunisasi dasar pada bayi, hasil dari analisis diperoleh p value = 0,000 (p value < 0,05). Perhitungan odd ratio (OR) = 21 menunjukkan ibu dengan tingkat pengetahuan baik cenderung memberikan imunisasi dasar lengkap kepada bayinya dibandingkan dengan ibu pengetahuan kurang. Semakin luas pengetahuan seseorang semakin mudah orang melakukan perubahan dalam tindakkannya (Notoatmodjo, 2003). Pendidikan dan pekerjaan tidak behubungan dengan kelengkapan imunisasi dasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, saran yang diajukkan kepada tenaga kesehatan adalah supaya mmberi penyuluhan epada ibu dan kelurganyamengenai pentingnya imunisasi dasar dan melakukan pemantauan tehadap kelengkapan imunisasinya, sedangkan untuk ibu yang mempunyai bayi hendaknya meluangkan waktunya untuk mengimunisasikan anaknya.
