Abstract

This study aims is to apply the learning model by using prezi to improve understanding of English courses. This research was conducted at the PGRI university of Madiun in the Academic Year of 2017/2018. The research subjects were students of Primary School Teacher Education. This study uses a classroom action research design (classroom action research) was used to solve learning problems in the classroom that seeks to study and reflect in depth some aspects of learning. This research was divided into two cycles that are adjusted to the time allocation and topic chosen. Based on the findings of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of prezi media can improve understanding of English class 2B material, Primary School Teacher Education Study Program. This increase was shown by the achievement of the average understanding of the concept of the first cycle of 73 with 69% completeness and in the second cycle of 83 with 94% completeness. So it can be concluded that there has been an increase of 25%. This shows that the application of the learning model using this prezi media can improve students' understanding.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The purpose of this study was to determine students' understanding in making simple sentences with simple present tense patterns, the types of grammatical errors made by students in making simple sentences with simple present tense patterns, grammatical errors that generally occur in making simple sentences with simple present tense patterns. The subjects of this research are students of semester 1, class A, Information Systems study program. The data collection technique was done by written test. In the written test, the researcher used a written test instrument in the form of English questions about the simple present tense. The written test questions are in the form of multiple choice and essay. The test questions are divided into 3 parts in the tryout test, namely completing sentences, making sentences, and translating sentences. In the third meeting, students complete sentences, answer questions and make a simple present tense paragraph. Based on the research, it was found that: after students were given another explanation about simple present tense sentences, 20 students out of 27 students (74%) answered using simple present tense sentences correctly. It can be said that there has been a 26% increase in understanding of simple present tense sentence patterns.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the types of errors had been made by students in writing the sentence of simple past tense in English subjects. The low level of student understanding of simple past tense material is one of the reasons which influence the mistakes in making the sentence of simple past tense. It could be proven through the results of the pra-test, where four types of errors were found, namely (1) Error using verb suffix (-ed, -d) in regular verb words, (2) Error using simple verb forms past tense irregular verb, (3) Error using the help word in negative sentences, (4) Error Using To be. However, after the teaching and learning process was carried out, the error was reduced, including in the use of the suffix on the verb (-ed, -d) in the regular verb of the previous 15 students had been reduced to 5 people. While errors in the use of simple past tense verb forms (irregular verb) from the previous 14 students become 3 students. Furthermore, errors in the use of the help word in negative sentences were carried out by 13 students into 2 students. Then errors in use to be in the simple past tense carried out by 15 people decreased to 2 people.Keywords: Simple Past Tense, Error Analysis

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran dengan menggunakan prezi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman matakuliah bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas PGRI Madiun Tahun Akademik 2017/2018. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah pembelajaran di kelas yang berusaha mengkaji dan merefleksikan secara mendalam beberapa aspek dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dibagi dalam dua siklus yang disesuaikan dengan alokasi waktu dan topic yang dipilih. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa penerapan media prezi dapat meningkatkan pemahaman materi bahasa Inggris kelas 2B, Prodi PGSD. Peningkatan ini ditunjukkan dengan ketercapaian rata-rata skor pemahaman konsep siklus I sebesar 73 dengan ketuntasan 69% dan pada siklus II sebesar 83 dengan ketuntasan 94%. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan sebesar 25%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media prezi ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa.

Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture initiated the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. Several programs in Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program include industrial internships, independent projects, student exchanges, community service projects, humanitarian programs, and so on. Kampus Mengajar 2 is one of the programs had been running. The program received various responses from the public, which were expressed on social media. The Supervisor at kampus mengajar 2 was also active in providing various comments on kampus mengajar 2 telegram groups in the form of good, bad, and neutral comments. These comments have the potential to generate a growing sentiment among the general public and academics. Based on these issues, the researcher analyzed the kampus mengajar 2 sentiments toward the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program with the data source being comments on the supervisors' telegram group. The data obtained from the telegram group is classified as good, bad, or neutral using the Naive Bayes method and K-Nearest Neighbors on up to 591 data points. The data is then divided into two parts: training data and testing data. Testing data can account for up to 20 percent of total data, with the remaining 80 percent serving as training data. The accuracy results on sentiment analysis show that the Naive Bayes method outperforms the KNN method, with 99.30 percent for Naive Bayes and 97.20 percent for K-Nearest Neighbors.

Abstract

The Government of Indonesia's official Covid-19 website is the most trusted information link between relevant agencies and the wider community. Usability is an important factor in determining how easily and successfully users can obtain information from a website. Heuristic studies were conducted to obtain findings on the discrepancies in the previously released website design. The website's homepage has a usability percentage of 78.74 percent and a standard deviation of 8.84 percent. The Covid-19 distribution page is 70.36 percent usable, with a standard deviation of 9.84 percent. The evaluation results are based on the United States' Research-Based Web Design and Usability Guidelines. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) discovered that the home page's links were poorly identified, that important information was not relevant, and that the use of icons was inconsistent. The distribution page discovered difficult-to-identify links, scrollbar redundancy in the frameset, and content complexity that required the user to be able to read diagrams well.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes of English by using videoscribe learning media. The subjects of this study were 30 class 1B. The object of this research was learning English past tense by using videoscribe. This research method is classroom action research using two cycles. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and tests. The results of this study indicate that the increase in the average value of the class from the initial condition 44.16 to 78.63 and the increase in learning mastery from the initial condition of 20% increased to 93.33%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes of English by using videoscribe learning media. The subjects of this study were 30 class 1B. The object of this research was learning English past tense by using videoscribe. This research method is classroom action research using two cycles. The research will be carried out in two cycles; each cycle is planned for two meetings. Each meeting is two hours of lessons. Each cycle contains planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and tests. The results of this study indicate that the increase in the average value of the class from the initial condition 44.16 to 78.63 and the increase in learning mastery from the initial condition of 20% increased to 93.33%.

Abstract

Program studi sistem Informasi merupakan salah satu Prodi yang ada di Universitas PGRI Madiun, yang didalamnya melakukan kegiatan Tri Dharma Perguruan tinggi, Proses Bisnis untuk aktivitas dalam prodi Sistem informasi belum dipetakan sesuai dengan standard sehingga perlu dibuatkan pemodelan proses bisnis. Proses Bisnis adalah koleksi dari aktifitas yang tersetruktur pada suatu organisasi, yang menghasilkan produk atau layanan, untuk kebutuhan internal organisasi. Proses bisnis dapat dipetakan dalam bentuk diagram yang menggambarkan hubungan kerja yang efektif dan efisien antar unit organisasi. Jenis proses bisnis terbagi menjadi dua yaitu, proses utama dan proses pendukung. Dari hasil pemodelan BPMN menggunakan Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect didapat desain pemodelan proses bisnis berupa 11 pemodelan tahap awal, dan masih bisa dikembangkan lagi dan dilengkapi lagi sesuai kondisi program studi yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi lembaga dan biro biro terkait serta prosedur operasional standart yang berlaku
