Abstract

This research aims to get a research instrument, namely quality service lecturer at private university. The research method used mixed methods consists of literature reviews, interviews with students, expert validation, and a test use Rasch modeling. Literature review is carried out to obtain a description of the service quality according to the developing theory. Interviews with students aim to obtain items of review that fit the research context. Expert validation aims to obtain content validity. Collecting data through a questionnaire instrument containing 32 items. The number of respondents was 543 students at Pakuan University. The finding that 31 items of valid lecturer service quality instrument and one (1) item that is invalid must be discarded; This lecturer service quality instrument is very reliable because it has a reliability value above 0.9, both in terms of people reliability, alpha cronbach and item reliability. However, based on the item difficulty level test using item measure, item dimensionality and variable map, and Item: DIF test found several items that must be corrected.

Abstract

THE TEACHER’S PRODUCTIVITY ENHANCMENT BY IMPROVING SELF EFFICACY AND VISIONER LEADERSHIPThe purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between self efficacy and visionary leadership toward teacher’s productivity. The study was conducted in Vocational High School at Ciawi Region. The population of the study was 136 teachers and the sample taken was 102 teachers which were selected using proportional random sampling and data collection was got through questionnaires. The data analysing technique was done using correlation regression partial and multiple. The study result pointed out that there was positive correlation between self efficacy and teacher’s productivity (the correlation coefficient ry1 = 0,596 and the determination coefficient r2y1=0,355), there was positive correlation between visionary leadership and teacher’s productivity (the correlation coefficient ry2 =0,545 where the determination coefficient r2y2=0,297), and also there was positive correlation of self efficacy and visionary leadership to teacher’s productivity (the correlation coefficient ry12 = 0,648 and the determination coefficient r2y12= 0,419). Based on the above result study, it could be concluded that the teacher’s productivity might be improoved through self efficacy and visionary leadership either partially or concurrently.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the positive correlation of situational leadership and self-efficacy with the improvement of teacher work productivity. The quantitative method with correlation analysis were employed, furthermore the Scientific Identification Theory to Conduct Operation Research in Education Management (SITOREM) was applied to determine the priorities. The population includes all the elementary school teachers which are civil servants (PNS) in Bogor, Indonesia while 105 were selected as samples. The findings showed there is a positive correlation between situational leadership and teacher work productivity with a correlation coefficient of 0.783, and between self-efficacy and teacher work productivity with 0.782. This, therefore, means these two factors are influential in increasing the productivity of teachers. The novelty of this research was the use of SITOREM to highlight 7 indicators prioritized to be improved including leader behavior, delegation, direction, teacher achievement, facility use, efficiency, and managerial ability.

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja dan kepemimpinan pendidikan merupakan 2 variabel penting dalam pencapaian tujuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif, pengumpulan datanya dengan instrumen angket yang disisi oleh guru-guru di wilayah domisili Bogor, Jawa Barat, berjumlah 80 orang. Analisis data menggunakan statistif deskriptif dan inferensial. Temuan penelitian ini sebagai berikut:  (1) Persepsi guru laki-laki atas beberapa indicator kepuasan kerja guru lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan guru perempuan. Persepsi guru negeri atas beberapa indicator kepuasan kerja guru lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan guru swasta. Semua indicator  ketidakpuasan kerja guru terdapat pada guru sekolah dasar; (2) Persepsi guru laki-laki atas beberapa indicator kepemimpinan pendidikan lebih rendah dari guru perempuan. Persepsi guru sekolah swata atas beberapa indicator kepemimpinan pendidikan lebih rendah dari guru negeri. Sedangkan persepsi guru sekolah dasar atas semua indicator kepemimpinan rendah; (3) Terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara variabel kepemimpinan pendidikan dengan variabel kepuasan kerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,53 (p > 0,05); dan (4) strategi untuk memperbaiki kepemimpinan dilakukan dalam hal-hal berikut:  penetapan target-target, pengumpulan data dan informasi, pembimbingan dan pengarahan guru professional, pengembangan kurikulum dan pengembangan proses pembelajaran, pembentukan tim yang solid,  komunikasi yang efektif, penyelesaian konflik yang terjadi di sekolah.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find the items of the teacher's innovative work behavior instrument during the Covid 19 pandemic and recommend several things to improve it. The teacher's innovative work behavior instrument was developed through a study of concepts and theories of innovative work behavior until a draft instrument was obtained that met content validity, logical validity, examination by experts to obtain expert validity, and testing of 10 teachers. Instruments that have been corrected based on input from the teacher are then distributed via google-form. Determination of the number of samples in this study using purposive sampling. In this study, researchers chose teachers as respondents with a sample size of 1200. Data analysis used the Rasch model. The findings of this research are that the teacher's innovative work behavior instrument  during the  Covid 19 period, which consists of 11 indicators based on the Rasch model, has met the requirements for use in research. This study recommends 5 things to improve PKIG, namely: (i) making scientific papers, (ii) learning that exceeds the standard, (iii) mentoring other teachers, (iv) pioneering the use of ICT for learning, and (v) struggling to get new ideas/products accepted by others. Based on these recommendations, the implications of this research are that teachers need to be encouraged to conduct research in schools, teach exceeding standards, monitor each other among teachers, cultivate a culture of using learning technology, and promote all teacher innovation products to other parties.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTeachers' organizational commitment is the key to the implementation of quality education. Without high organizational commitment of teacher, the implementation of quality education is unlikely to materialize. Therefore, a clear description and conception of teachers' organizational commitment is needed. The purpose of this research is to describe the teachers' organizational commitment in depth decription. This research uses literature review method. The results of the research were then presented to answer the 3 research problems: the nature of teachers organizational commitment, the processes and factors that shaped the organizational commitment of teachers, and the ways to develop and enhance the organizational commitment of teachers.Keywords: organizational commitment, theoretical review, literature methodABSTRAKKomitmen organisasi guru merupakan kunci pelaksanaan pendidikan yang bermutu. Abstract

This research aims to improve the quality of the learning process and the result of learning process Thisresearch is a quasi experimental study. This research subject is class gared IV-A, IV-B and IV-C Public Elementary School Manggis Cicurug Sukabumi. Analysis technique used for pre-requisites analysis test which includes normality test, homogenity test, and hypothesis test using t-test. In the normality test with liliefors test showed that the class experiment 1 Ltestvalue is (0,144) with Ltable of (0,149), the class experiment 2 Ltestvalueis (0,074) with Ltable of (0,154), while the control class Ltestvalue is (0,151) with Ltable of (0,161), so that the value of Ltestfor all data ≤ than the value of Ltable with the significant standard is α= 0,05%, all data gives normal distribution. In the homogeneity with bartlett test Xtest value is (3,208) ≤ with Xtable of (5,991). In the hypothesis test with t-test showed that the class experiment 1 and the control class ttestvalue is (14,12) ≥ than ttable of (1,99394), the class experiment 2 ant the control class ttestvalue is (9,96) ≥ than ttable of (1,99962), while the class experiment 1 and the class experiment 2 ttestvalue is (2,83)≥ than ttable of (1,99656), therefore all the data showed that H0 rejected and Ha accepted. Based on this research, it can be concludedthat there are differences of result between the using cooperative learning model guided inquiry and student teams achievement divisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of the implementation of the discovery learning model on learning outcomes for the Sub-theme of Gratitude for Diversity. This study used an experimental method with a quasi-experimental type of two-group design at the Cibarusah Jaya 04 State Elementary School, West Java. Data collection techniques using test instruments, data analysis using descriptive statistics, testing prerequisite analysis and finally hypothesis testing using t test. The population is 72 students with the sampling technique using purposive sampling, so that 72 students are sampled. This research was conducted in the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The results of the research show that there is an effect of the implementation of the Discovery Learning model on learning outcomes for the Sub-theme of Gratitude for Diversity. This can be seen from the N-Gain in the experimental class group of 80, while the control class group got an N-Gain value of 71. The completeness of learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group was 92% while in the control class group it was 56%. The results of testing the research hypothesis show that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted because tstatistic (2.9785) > ttable (1.99). Based on these findings, the use of the discovery learning model is highly recommended to improve the learning outcomes in elementary schools

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find statement items that can measure accurately and at the same time find statement items that can be submitted as materials for improving educational leadership in schools. This study used a quantitative research design with data obtained through a research instrument filled with 449 teachers from Indonesia through purposive sampling method and data analysis techniques using Rasch modeling. Before the questionnaire is used, it first gets input from the expert and it tested on 10 teachers. The findings of this research are: (1) There are 11 items are stated to measure accurately the variable of the principal's educational leadership; (2) There are priorities for improving educational leadership in schools, namely: (i) increasing respect for all differences (diversity) in schools; (ii) the principal should provide inspiration in implementing the best education; (iii) school principals should be more collaborative in the success of school programs; (iv) the principal should be better able to resolve internal conflicts in schoolsKeywords: leadership behavior; educational leadership; Rasch Model Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menemukan butir-butir pernyataan yang dapat mengukur dengan tepat sekaligus menemukan butir pernyataan yang dapat diajukan sebagai bahan perbaikan kepemimpinan pendidikan di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kuantitatif dengan data diperoleh melalui instrumen penelitian yang diisi oleh 449 guru dari wilayah Indonesia melalui metode purposive sampling dan teknik analisis data menggunakan Pemodelan Rasch. Sebelum instrumen digunakan terlebih dahulu mendapat masukan dari ahli (expert judgement) dan  diujicobakan kepada 10 guru. Adapun temuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Sebanyak 11 butir dinyatakan dapat mengukur dengan tepat (fit) variable kepemimpinan pendidikan kepala sekolah; (2) Prioritas tindakan untuk memperbaiki kepemimpinan pendidikan di sekolah yaitu: (i) meningkatkan penghormatan pada segala perbedaan (keberagaman) di sekolah; (ii) kepala sekolah hendaknya memberikan inspirasi dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan terbaik; (iii) kepala sekolah hendaknya lebih kolaboratif dalam menyukseskan program-program sekolah; (iv) kepala sekolah hendaknya lebih mampu menyelesaikan konflik internal di sekolah dengan baik Kata kunci: perilaku kepemimpinan; kepemimpian pendidikan; Rasch Model
