Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) merupakan salah satu kecakapan penting abad 21 yang harus dimiliki siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS untuk siswa kelas VII SMP pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam educational design research menggunakan model dari Plomp. Melibatkan 3 tahapan yaitu tahap preliminary research, prototyping stage, dan assessment phase. Proses validasi produk dilakukan oleh ahli, teman sejawat, guru dan siswa. Prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, lembar observasi, wawancara, dan uji coba secara terbatas di sekolah. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkonversi data kualitatif dan kuantitatif ke dalam bentuk deskriptif berdasarkan penilaian ideal, validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda soal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa kriteria penilaian ideal produk masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Skor rata-rata dari dosen ahli yaitu 91,875%, teman sejawat 92%, guru 92%, siswa 85%. Sedangkan validitas instrumen sebesar 0,89, reliabilitas instrumen 0,69, tingkat kesukaran 0,40, dan daya pembeda soal 0,33 Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are essential skills for students in the 21st century. This study aims to develop a HOTS-based assessment on heat (caloric) and heat transfer in the 7th grade of juniors high school. This study was included in educational design research using Plomps' model. It used three stages: the preliminary research stage, the prototyping stage, and the assessment phase—the HOTS-based assessment product validated by experts, peers, teachers, and students. Data collection procedures used questionnaires, observation sheets, interviews, and limited trials at school. The data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative data to convert into descriptive form based on the ideal assessment, validity, reliability, difficulty index, and discriminant index. Based on the analysis, the ideal assessment criteria for the product were in the very good category. The experts' average score was 91.875%, peers 92%, teachers 92%, and students 85%. Furthermore, the instrument validity score was 0.89, the instrument reliability was 0.69, the difficulty index was 0.40, and the discriminant index was 0.33.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengaruh metode learning cycle dan inkuiri terbimbing terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa (2) Pengaruh pemahaman metode ilmiah tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertipe kuasi eksperimen. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada program studi Pendidikan IPA FKIP UST semester 1 tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk prestasi belajar dan pemahaman metode ilmiah menggunakan tes. Teknik analisis data untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan dengan sel tidak sama (ANOVA). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Tidak ada pengaruh pembelajaran dengan metode learning cycle dan inkuiri terbimbing terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa (p=0.057) (2) Ada pengaruh pemahaman metode ilmiah  rendah dan tinggi terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa (p=0.000).

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui (1) kecenderungan hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis dari siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Imogiri melalui pembelajaran model PBL dan DI. (2) Mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar dari siswa siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Imogiri melalui pembelajaran model PBL dan DI ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, tes, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAKOVA satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang sangat signifikan antara hasil belajar IPA dengan model PBL dan dengan model DI ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa (F hitung = 5,323 dan p = 0,002). Skor rata-rata hasil belajar IPA dengan model PBL lebih tinggi daripada DI. Hal ini berarti bahwa model PBL lebih efektif daripada model DI.

Abstract

SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW PADA KREATIVITAS BIDANG PEMBELAJARAN SAINS: DOMAIN, TREND PENELITIAN, DAN ANALISISNYAAbstractCreativity is an important aspect to be developed in students and becomes one of the main skills needed in the world of work. This study aims to review the results of research on creativity in the field of science education which includes aspects of domains, research trends, and methods. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is carried out carefully and strictly on articles sourced from international reputable databases. The selection results obtained 22 articles published from 2010 to 2020. The perspective of creativity research lies in the 4Ps (Person, Process, Product, and Press) as a single component. The trend of creativity research is mostly related to multi-representation, concept understanding, evaluation, and creative learning design. In addition, research trends are explored to improve the creative processes and products of junior high and high school students, as well as several course institutions and elementary schools. While the most creative research methods use quasi-experimental and mixed methods. Research with a quasi-experimental design allows the measurement process before and after treatment. Researchers can find out whether the treatment has an effect on creativity in terms of the results of statistical tests.AbstrakKreativitas merupakan aspek penting untuk dikembangkan pada siswa dan menjadi salah satu keterampilan utama yang dibutuhkan di dunia kerja. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mereview hasil penelitian-penelitian tentang kreativitas bidang pendidikan sains yang meliputi aspek domain, trend penelitian, dan analisisnya. SLR dilakukan pada artikel-artikel yang bersumber dari database bereputasi internasional. Hasil seleksi diperoleh 22 artikel yang diterbitkan dalam rentang 2010 sampai 2020. Sudut pandang penelitian kreativitas terletak pada 4P (Person, Process, Product, dan Press) sebagai sebuah komponen satu kesatuan. Tren penelitian kreativitas paling banyak berkaitan dengan multirepresentasi, pemahaman konsep, evaluasi, dan desain pembelajaran kreativitas. Selain itu, trend penelitian melakukan eksplorasi untuk meningkatkan proses dan produk kreativitas siswa sekolah menengah pertama dan sekolah menengah atas, juga beberapa lembaga kursus dan sekolah dasar. Sedangkan teknik analisis data  penelitian kreativitas paling banyak menggunakan quasi eksperimen dan metode campuran. Penelitian dengan desain quasi-eksperimental memungkinkan proses pengukuran sebelum dan sesudah treatment sehingga peneliti dapat mengetahui apakah perlakukan yang diberikan berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas berdasarkan hasil uji statistik. How To Cite: Sujatmika, S., Lestari, E.S., Affandy, H. Abstract

This study aimed to identify the science concepts in the dyeing process of Ulos woven fabrics that will be used as a science learning resource for junior high schools. An ethnoscience study by exploring the original science contained in a community group based on scientific science. This study used a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach through the process of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The location of research was carried out at the Ulos Batak By Gallery at Manjunjung Hutabarat, Jl. Major General. Y Samosir No, 76, Partalijulu Village, Tarutung District, North Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The instruments used were observation sheets, interview guidelines, and questionnaires. Collecting data through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. To test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques (source, technique, and time). Based on the results of the study, it is known that the natural dyeing process in the manufacture of Ulos fabric includes the preparation of materials (plants), the plant processing stage, the dissolving stage of natural dyes, the dyeing stage, the drying stage, the fixation stage, the washing stage, and the final drying stage. The science concepts in the curriculum 2013 are in accordance with the process of coloring Ulos cloth, and namely plant classification, solid pressure, heat transfer, physical changes, energy in living systems, separation of mixtures, boiling points, temperatures and their changes, chemical changes, elements, compounds, mixtures. It can be concluded that the manufacture of Ulos woven fabric in this study is a learning resource that can integrate learning materials in various fields of science fabrics (physics, biology).

Abstract

Abstract: Development research (design research) with the 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate) aims to 1) develop interactive learning media based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) for seventh grade junior high school students, 2) find out the feasibility of interactive learning based media PBL for grade VII junior high school students. Research is limited to the develop stage. Data collection techniques use assessment instruments for several experts. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis based on the ideal evaluation category. Based on the results of the assessment of media experts obtained an average score of 64, with a percentage of ideals of 80%, including both categories. The results of the assessment of material experts obtained an average score of 59, with an ideal percentage of 81.94%, including the excellent category. Peer reviewer assessment results obtained an average score of 72, with a percentage of ideals of 90%, including the excellent category. The results of the science teacher assessment obtained an average score of 117, with an ideal percentage of 81.38%, including the excellent category. The results of the assessment of student responses obtained an average score of 68.55, with an ideal percentage of 81.68%, including the excellent category. It can be concluded that the interactive learning media developed is very feasible to use in learning. Keywords: Interactive Learning Media, Problem Based Learning
