Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan media dalam proses belajar mengajar mempermudah kemampuan siswa untuk memahami materi. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi informasi, pembelajaran matematika saat ini, khususnya pada materi mangurutkan pecahan, yaitu dengan memanfaatkan teknologi komputer untuk membuat dan mempresentasikan media pembelajaran. Salah satu media pembelajaran adalah multimedia interaktif.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah perbedaan pembelajaran melalui multimedia interaktif dan melalui buku teks terhadap hasil hasil belajar siswa pada materi pecahan kelas IV, SDN Gadang 01 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV A dan IV B, SDN Gadang 01 Malang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan tes. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan antara pembelajaran melalui multimedia interaktif dan melalui buku teks terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dimana hasil yang diperoleh pada kelas eksperimen memiliki mean 65,89 dengan standar deviasi 18,878 lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol yang memiliki mean 53,33 dengan standar deviasi 32,471. Hasil gain score menunjukkan selisih antara nilai pretest dan posttest didapatkan pada kelas eksperimen dengan hasil rata-rata gain score yaitu 0,7 yang masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Sementara itu, hasil perhitungam uji t didapatkan t = 2,089; F = 15,285 dan signifikansi 2-tail 0,40/0,41 lebih kecil dari signifikansi 0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya, ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SDN Gadang 01 Malang. Kata-Kata Kunci: Model pembelajaran interaktif, buku teks, hasil belajar, pecahan.Abstract: The use of media in learning process facilitates the ability of students to understand the material. As the development of information technology, the learning of mathematics at this time particularly in sorting fraction subject matter utilizes computer technology to create and present the learning media. One of the learning media is Interactive multimedia. The objectives of this research is to know is there any difference in learning through interactive multimedia and textbooks toward fourth grade students’ learning outcome in the fractions subject matter, SDN Gadang 01 Malang. This study uses a quantitative research. The samples are all students of IV A and IV B class, SDN Gadang 01 Malang. The research instrument is tests. The technique to analyze the data is the t-test. The results of the research show that there is a difference between learning through interactive multimedia and through textbooks on student learning outcomes, where the mean of the experimental class is 65.89 with standard deviation 18.878 is greater than the control class that has a mean 53.33 with standard deviation 32.471. The results of gain score show the difference between pretest and posttest score of the experimental class with average  score  0.7 which is in the high category. Meanwhile, the results of t-test obtained t = 2.089; F = 15.285 and two-tail significance 0.40 / 0.41 less than 0.05, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that there is significant difference in the use of multimedia interactive learning toward the learning outcomes of students at SDN Gadang 01 Malang. Keywords: Interactive learning model, textbooks, learning outcomes, fractions.

Abstract

Mathematics in primary schools still rely on textbooks and workbooks students were also issued by the government. In general, it seems simpler both from the teachers and students, because students only carry one book that contains a variety of subjects. Weak concept is very pronounced in mathematics. In integrated math into the thematic lessons, however, mathematics remains one of the subjects tested on a final school examinations. Teachers are preparing for the final exam had to work hard to repeat concepts ranging from grade 1 to grade 5. Therefore, it is necessary for teachers of proven strategies so that the material presented can be accepted students well. This research purposed to describe the application of contextual learning using math workbook. This study uses qualitative research with 30 research subjects third grade elementary school students in SDN Gandang I Malang. Data collection technique used documentation techniques and tests. Data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive analysis. After implementing the learning using the workbook, the average repeat is 86.96, the lowest score and the highest score each are 70 and 100. Based on the results obtained, contextual workbook that directly relate to the theme 7 that the energy source can be applied to the study of mathematics the third class at SDN Gadang I Malang.

Abstract

The conduct of the present study is encouraged by the needs to afford the teaching materials in the form of an electronic learning module or e-module that can be combined with the problem-based learning approach in order to expand the students’ insights in and draw the students’ interest toward Mathematics. These needs should be afforded because the present teaching materials used in the learning process are still conventional and, consequently, the students become easily bored. Departing from this elaboration, the objective of the present study is to develop the teaching materials, especially in the subject “Simple Planes” in the Third Grade, and to measure the validity, the practicality, and the effectiveness of the media that have been developed. In conducting the study, the ADDIE model, standing for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, had been adopted and the data were gathered by means of validation sheet and response questionnaire. After the data had been gathered, the data were analysed by using the qualitative and the quantitative data analysis technique. The results of the study show that the problem-based learning (PBL)-based planes e-module using the KVISFOT Flipbook Maker that has been developed is already valid with the mean score of 85.82%. At the same time, the results of the response category show that the problem-based learning (PBL)-based planes e-module using the KVISFOT Flipbook Maker that has been developed is already good with the mean score 3.78. Furthermore, the mean score from the effectiveness test using the evaluation test for the Third-Grade students is 90.47. Therefore, it can be concluded that the e-module is able to improve the students’ learning motivation so that the learning process can proceed fluently.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the level of correlation between the ability of concept mathematics with the ability of teaching for mathematics students in mathematics education program. Referring to the purpose, this research is a correlational research using quantitative approach on 56 students of mathematics education who are taking courses Kajian Pengembangan Matematika Sekolah 3 (KPMS3). The data obtained using the test, namely the ability of concepts mathematics test and results of teaching practice. The results of data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment to see correlation level, while hypothesis test of this research using Independent t-test with SPSS program. Results of data processing obtained that the level of correlation is 0.133 with significance 0.173. The result means that in this class, the ability of mathematics concept has a very low level of correlation, with meaning that the ability teaching math of students is not only influenced by the ability of mathematics concept. The result of processing data also supported by a significance level of 0.173, which can be concluded that there is no influence between the ability of mathematics concept with the ability of teaching mathematics on mathematics students. There is a need for further research related to the readiness of prospective teachers before teaching practice in schools.
