Abstract

Abstract

With the development of technology in the 21st century it has been able to provide pro-active learning, easy to understand and comprehensive as a learning environment, so it needs to be created IT-based learning media, namely edugames to help the learning process in elementary schools. The problem encountered in this study is that a small portion of teachers do not understand how to design edugames learning. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers to design edugames learning in mathematics learning. The type of research used is development using the Plomp model. The subjects in this study were teachers of Bukittingi City 02 Pilot School. The instrument in this study was edugames learning media. This research produces edugames media in the learning process created by the teacher

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematical connection ability of elementary school students in solving mathematical problems. This research uses the qualitative approach with descriptive method. We used observation, interview, and test to collect data. This study shows that 6.67% of the samples scored between 60 and 69 in the fair category. A total of 98 students or 81.67% scored between 45 and 59 who belonged to the below average category, and 14 students or 11.67% scored between 0 and 44 which were classified as a poor category. This result proves that the mathematical connection ability of elementary school students in solving mathematics problems is still low.

Abstract

This research aims to develop data presentation teaching material that based on Lectora Inspire with CTL approach in class IV 15 Elementary School Ulu Gadut with interactive CD form which is valid and practical to use the 4-D development model of Thiagarajan. The stages are define, design, development, and dissemination. The subjects of this study were 3 expert, 1 class IV teacher and 20 students in grade IV-A Elementary School 15 Ulu Gadut. The instrument used is an expert validation sheet, teacher and students response questionnaire. Products research results: (1) data presentation teaching material that based on Lectora Inspire with CTL approach in class IV declared to be valid for use by material expert, linguists and media expert with excellent category with an overall assessment of the 95,67 validator, (2) teacher and student responses to the data presentation teaching material that based on Lectora Inspire with CTL approach in class IV elementary school obtain a very practical category with an average value of 92,72 % and 94,54 %.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes of the Largest Fellowship Factor factor and the Smallest Multiples Fellowship grade IV in elementary schools. This research method is quantitative research, the type of research is Quasi Experimental Design with the design of The Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling using purporsive sampling techniques. The instrument used was an objective test in the form of multiple choice. The data analysis technique used t-test obtained tcount> ttable namely 3.99> 1.67. This shows the learning outcomes of the material of the greatest common factor and the smallest multiple of the two classes significantly different. The increasing learning outcomes of the experimental class applying the Problem Based Learning model is 38.26 higher than the control class implementing conventional learning which is 19.35. It was concluded that there were differences in student learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning model with student learning outcomes using a conventional approach to the material of the Largest Fellowship Factor and the Least Multiple Multiples in Class IV Elementary School.
