Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasaan kerja sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yaitu melalui pembagian kuesioner. Sampel yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 responden. Hasil penelitian ini di harapkan dapat memberi informasi yang berguna bagi pimpinan dan karyawan. Data yang diperoleh, diolah menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis statsistik kuantitatif. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kompetensi dan motivasi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasaan kerja sebagai variabel moderasi di Patra Semarang Convention Hotel

Abstract

CHSE is made based on the Decree of the Minister of Health concerning Health Protocols in Public Places and Facilities in the Framework of Prevention and Control of Covid-19. The lack of knowledge from homestay managers about CHSE is the background to the need for training on the implementation of CHSE. Community service activities are collaboration of STIEPARI Semarang community service team with The Tourism and Sports Office of Pemalang Regency and conducted in a structured three stages of activities, starting with a survey on the level of understanding of CHSE to the homestay management community followed by focus group discussion activities and closed with training on CHSE. This community service is intended for homestay managers who are selected from four selected tourism villages, namely Penggarit Village, Surajaya Village, Kaliprau Village and Sikasur Village. The final hope of CHSE training is that homestay managers can help prevent and control Covid-19 for people in public places and facilities in order to prevent the occurrence of new epicenters or clusters during the pandemic and the main thing is the safety of tourists who stop by tourist villages during the pandemic

Abstract

Development of tourism destination of Masjid Kapal safinatun najah with 3A tourism component in Semarang City The research was designed to understand and to explain potential and tourist attraction at Safinatun Najah Mosque based on 3A of tourism component and explanation of development efforts by the administrator, government, and community as well as knowing the benefit of Safinatun Najah Mosque development. Qualitative description research is mentioned as research that produce scientific research that use description data in the form of words written or verbally off people or behaviour which observe to a group of people or an object and group of culture (Maleong J, 1991). Developing of attraction at Safinatun Najah Mosque by optimising the empty space. Developing and maintaining of amenity by continuous care and developing of accessibility by enlargement of the street traffic sign and giving the transportation of public. This development gives an economic impact such also gives a social and cultural impact.

Abstract

One of the countries that has also been affected by this pandemic is Indonesia.  Having a large area, of course, makes the Indonesian government expected to move quickly in dealing with the pandemic that has caused turmoil in several sectors of the Indonesian economy, one of which is the tourism sector.  The policies implemented by the government brought the community into a period called the New Normal era.  Tourist villages are expected to be able to start opening tourism activities, one of which is homestays by implementing strict health protocol which are summarized in the Cleanliness, Health, and Safety (CHS) program, even by the CHS ministry this is used as a new competency in the hope of increasing public trust in the new normal era. This study aims to discover the implementation of CHS in homestays in Sikasur Tourism Village during the New Normal period. This study uses a naturalistic method. This method is used to research in a natural place. There is an answer finding in this study related to the application of CHS to homestays in this new normal period, namely the shadow of fear of the spread of covid must be eliminated through the readiness of each tourism actor, continue to obey the health protocols during the process of building tourism and eliminate first looking for as much profit as possible.  Which actually worsened the situation and harmed many parties.

Abstract

The Importance of the Program The Government builds good habits to improve quality human resources that are applied in various sectors, including tourism. President Joko Widodo in his speech stated several factors that strengthen HR, namely healthy, smart, skilled and prosperous. The role of the tourism industry today is very important, because its role can provide recommendations to improve the capabilities and expertise in the field of tourism human resources. This study aims to analyze the importance of tourism industry players being guided online learning in competency tests, so that there is equity in improving Tourism Human Resources in Indonesia both in education and human resources working in the tourism industry. This is reinforced by BNSP allowing the implementation of remote competency assessment / testing carried out by LSP in accordance with Number: SE: 011 / BNSP / IV / 2020 dated April 3, 2020. This research uses a qualitative approach, which is an inductive approach. This type of descriptive research with case study research methods. The results showed that planning, organizing, developing, controlling the financing of competency tests require the carrying capacity of many stakeholders, so that the process can run smoothly. The success of increasing human resources is greatly influenced by the conditions of security and political stability, the carrying capacity of human resources who have expertise according to both quality and quantity, the budget used to develop facilities and infrastructure for tourism competency testing, legal policies that provide convenience, security, transparency and comfort for actors the tourism industry in the process of conducting online assessments in various regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of proactive personality, emotional intelligence, and work environment on employee performance creativity using data 200 employees of star hotels in Semarang. The results showed that proactive personality, emotional intelligence, and work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance creativity. The theoretical implications of the research results support existing theories and research, while managerial implications suggest that organizations / hotels consider proactive personality, emotional intelligence, and work environment as important factors that encourage employees to work creatively in order to improve their performance.

Abstract

The general objective of this study was to determine the culinary mapping of Peranakan Chinese menu in Semarang City, Central Java. The specific objectives of this research are to find out how to provide Peranakan Chinese menu culinary based on the number and types that exist in Semarang City. Furthermore, to find out how to serve the Peranakan Chinese menu culinary provision and to find out efforts to preserve the Peranakan Chinese menu as a culinary speciality of Semarang City. The technique of collecting primary data is very useful for collecting information needed for analysis and decision making. Based on the results of the research, it is obtained that the provision of Peranakan Chinese menu culinary in the city of Semarang in several types of dishes and drinks still uses original recipes from ancestors, both cooking ingredients, spices and cooking techniques. The culinary presentation of the Peranakan Chinese menu in some culinary shows distinctiveness without leaving its authenticity even though there are several additional menu variants. Efforts to preserve the Peranakan Chinese menu as a culinary speciality of the city of Semarang have been made by culinary business people, families, communities and the Semarang City government.

Abstract

This community service activity helps managers of tourist villages in the city of Semarang aim to help increase local culinary innovation in the city of Semarang and create new menu creativity and be able to provide significant changes for the better. This activity was carried out on March 1, 2019 at the smart home of the Kandri Tourism Village, Semarang, which was attended by 30 people consisting of tourism village managers in the city of Semarang. The conclusion of this community service activity is that participants' knowledge of local culinary innovations increases, participants are able to repair and upgrade packaging to attract consumer interest, and participants are able to apply what was given during the training.

Abstract

Kota Salatiga berperan sebagai terminal (pusat) perdagangan hasil pertanian bagi daerah seldtamya, penyedia alat — alat dan input bagi kegiatan pertanian, serta sebagai pusat industri pengolahan pertanian. Peran ini didukung oleh keberadaan wilayah sekitar yang sangat potensial bagi pengembangan pertanian, baik tanaman pangan, buah, sayuran, dan hasil kebun lainnya. Keberhasilan peran ini akan membentuk suatu hubungan timbal balik yang saling menguntungkan antara Kota Salatiga dan Kabupaten Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of compensation and work motivation on employee performance at Santika Pekalongan Hotel. The population of this study were employees of the Santika Pekalongan hotel with a total of 73 respondents. The sampling technique in this study used a census. This analysis includes validity, reliability, multiple linear analysis, t test, f test, coefficient of determination analysis. The results of this study indicate that compensation (X1) has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance, work motivation (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance
