Abstract

The objectives of this classroom action research is to describe and explain the process of learning to begin with through picture stories in BA ‘Aisyiyah Sidoharjo. This type of research is collaborative classroom action research. The research model used is Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subjects of this class action research were group B students in BA ‘Aisyiyah sidoharjo, amounting to 17 children consisting of 10 boys and 7 girls. The object of this research is the skill of beginning reading in children through pictorial story media The data analysis technique was carried out with qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results of research on the beginning of reading activities showed an increase, it can be seen from the results of the initial activity before the action showed 5.89%, an increase of 17.63% in Cycle I to 23.52%, and an increase of 65% so that it reached 88 , 23% in Cycle II. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the activity of learning to begin reading with picture stories can improve the skills of beginning reading in children.  Keywords: Early Ready, Picture story, Early Childhood

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) describe and explain the process of speaking ability by picture series media of the students in B1 group at Bustanul Athfal Aisyiyah Keniten Ponorogo in academic year 2017-2018, (2) describe and explain the result of speaking ability by picture series media of the students in B1 group at Bustanul Athfal Aisyiyah Keniten Ponorogo in academic year 2017-2018. The picture series media chosen because it can to train of language skill and expression skill the child (speaking and telling story). The type of this research was classroom action research with Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. The subject of this research was the students of B1 group at Bustanul Athfal Aisyiyah Keniten Ponorogo consisting of 20 students. The data technique were collected by using observation, documentation and interview. Data analysis of this research used the qualitative data and quantitative data. The success indicator in this action research it said success when percentage of speaking ability of the students were 80%. Based on the result of the research show the speaking ability by the picture series able to improve the speaking ability of the students in B1 group at Bustanul Athfal Aisyiyah Keniten Ponorogo in academic year 2017-2018. It showed by the mean percentage of speaking ability by the picture series in pra cycle that have a good criteria that is 15%. In the first cycles percentage of speaking ability by the picture series that have a good criteria that is 30%. In the second cycle percentage of speaking ability by the picture series that have a good criteria increase to 85%. It shows the classroom action research it says success, because the percentage of speaking ability by the picture series of the students get success indicator that is 80%.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) describe and explain the process of improving children's early reading skills through the letters of the alphabet library media, (2) describing and explaining the results of improving initial reading skills achieved by children through letter library media.This type of research is a collaborative classroom action research. Subjects were 27 group A children consisting of girls and boys. The object of research is early reading skills. This research consisted of two cycles and each cycle consisted of three meetings. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out in a qualitative and quantitative description.The result of this research show that early reading skill of children there are  steps by step in the learning process through the alphabetical media library are: 1) Classes are formed with the format "U” 2) Showing learning props in the form of a library of letters. 3) Explain how to use as well as demonstrate. 4) After understanding, children take turns demonstrating. 5) After demonstrating correctly the child is asked to pronounce the letters listed on the letter library media. 6) The teacher gives praise to children who are able to speak (pronounce letters) with the help of the media library of letters. 7) The teacher provides motivation to children who are still unable to speak (pronounce letters) with the media library of letters. The result of this research show that early reading skill of child in grade A of RA As Syafi’iyah Ponorogo is already increase like the successfully criteria while choose earlier. The result in the pre-action activities 7.4% increased in the first cycle to 14.8%, and increased during the second cycle to 81.4%.Keywords: Reading Skills, Alphabet Letter Library, Early Childhood

Abstract

Kegiatan Ipteks bagi Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan dalam memahami perjanjian kerja bagi calon pekerja migran Ponorogo, melalui penyuluhan hukum dalam bentuk sosialisasi bagi calon pekerja migran ponorogo, penyuluhan hukum ini memberikan penjelasan, 3 tahapan yang wajib di ketahui, calon pekerja migran dalam memahami perjanjian kerja antara PPTKIS, Agen Negara Tujuan, dan Pemberi kerja. Sehingga calon pekerja migran Kabupaten Ponorogo tau tugas dan haknya. selain itu pekerja migran juga dapat memahami aturan dalam bekerja di negara tujuan. Metode yang akan diterapkan dalam kegiatan Iptek bagi Masyarakat ini yaitu Penyuluhan hukum, materi yang akan di berikan antara laian pemahaman hukum perjanjian, tata cara dalam melakukan perjanjian kontrak kerja, pihak yang akan melaksanakan perjanjian kerja. Sehingga Pada akhirnya, dari pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini diharapkan calon pekerja migran akan memahami dan meminimalisisr permasalahan-permasalahan yang akan timbul di kemudian hari.

Abstract

mahasiswa strata 1 di Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo masuk pada masa Remaja, masa transisi antara kanak-kanak dan dewasa. rentang usia 12-13 hingga kisaran 20 tahun. Perubahan signifikan masa remaja meliputi fisik, kognitif, sosial dan watak atau kepribadian. Masa ini juga disebut masa labil dan proses pencarian jati diri dengan mencoba hal-hal baru termasuk perilaku yang beresiko. kasus pornografi di Kabupaten Ponorogo telah menjadi hal yang sangat umum, karena sangat mudah diakses oleh setiap kalangan usia. Pemerintah telah menetapkan Undang-Undang No. 44, Tahun 2008 tentang Pornografi. Walaupun sebenarnya pornografi telah dilarang perundang-undangan sebelumnya, namun penyebaran materi pornografi yang sangat bebas di masyarakat memang mengkhawatirkan. Indonesia tercatat menjadi rekor negara kedua setelah Rusia yang paling rentan penetrasi pornografi terhadap anak-anak dan remaja. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian ini dengan sistem sosialisasi, materi yang di berikan antara laian pemahaman tentang dasar hukum dan sanksi tindakan pornografi serta resiko penyakit kelamin bagi remaja yang melakukan seksual.

Abstract

Di era pandemi Covid 19 terdapat fenomena baru untuk anak usia 4-6 tahun terutama anak laki-laki terbiasa menoton kanal youtube, yang paling banyak disukai anak saat ini adalah youtuber Miawaug dengan subscriber tertinggi pada saluran review permainan di kanal youtube. Kesantunan berbahasa youtuber gaming ini sangat dipertanyakan apakah layak dikonsumsi untuk anak usia 4-6 tahun atau tidak, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kesantunan berbahasa anak usia 4-6 tahun studi kasus kebiasaan menonton youtuber gaming “MiawAug” di Kabupaten Ponorogo. Penelitian diskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan prosedur pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode triangulasi, sumber data yaitu dari data wawancara orang tua, anak dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesantunan bahasa pada kanal youtube MiawAug masih layak untuk dikonsumsi anak usia dini usia 4-6 tahun tetapi peran orang tua dalam membatasi konsumsi gawai dan pemakaian bahasa anak juga sangat penting untuk menciptakan kesantunan berbahasa anak usia 4-5 tahun.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the application of the alphabet board media to stimulate early reading skills for slow learners. The type of research used was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. It is called descriptive research since it produced case study data in the form of an overview of the application of the alphabet board media in stimulating the early reading skills of slow learner children in Inclusive Kindergarten of PAS Baitul Qur'an. Data collection techniques employed observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were two slow learner children, two teachers, and principals at Inclusive Kindergarten of PAS Baitul Qur'an, with an individual class system of one child and one teacher. From the study results, it can be concluded that applying the alphabet board media could stimulate early reading skills for slow learner children in Inclusive Kindergarten of PAS Baitul Qur'an. The stimulation carried out by the teacher in developing early reading skills included seeing the letters on the alphabet board, listening to the teacher's orders, and following the teacher's orders by reciting the letters on the alphabet board, starting with the vowels first, to the consonants, and then proceed into two syllables, i.e., consonants and vowels, and repeating the words on the alphabet board. This best practice in Inclusive Kindergarten of PAS Baitul Quran can be a reference for teachers who want to solve the problem of slow learning in early childhood.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) develop a media story book illustration and barcode videos in an effort to increase the listening ability to the kindy B’s students in Mutiara Hati Kindergarten. (2) find out the difference between before and after using a media story book illustration and a barcode video. The study used the research method research and development (rd). Data is collected using authentic test assessments, interviews and angkets. Qualitative data are analysed in a descriptive way from interviews and expert advice on validation, the quantitative data comes from the expert validation and authenticated testing methods of pre-experimental experimentation in the form of one group preposttest. The results of this study are (1) a media story book illustration and a barcode video entitled "Kue Boni Untuk Nenek" in which a story consists of a book barcode containing videos in it in an effort to improve the listening ability to the kindy B’s students in Mutiata Hati Kindergarten. Validation value by a material expert in 90% is categorized as valid and by a validation value media expert at 82.5% is categorized as valid. (2) there is a difference in students' ability to listen between before and after using a media story book illustration and a barcode video. At a small scale test in pretest got 45.71 score is categorized less than at score posttest of 79.14 is categorized as good with 33,43% discrepancies. Then, at a large scale test, got 62.6 score is categorized average and at a posttest of 84.6 is categorized as good with 22% discrepancies. Developing media story book illustration and barcode videos entitled "Kue Boni Untuk Nenek" can enhance the listening ability to the Kindy B’s students in Mutiara Hati Kindergarten of Ponorogo.

Abstract

Pada era digital seperti saat ini, keterampilan berbicara pada anak usia dini sangat dipengaruhi oleh media audiovisual yang berkembang sangat pesat. Kosakata dan ujaran kalimat yang didapat oleh anak usia dini melalui media audiovisual tidak dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh channel Kisah Islami terhadap keterampilan berbicara dengan kalimat yang lengkap dan kosakata yang baik dan tepat pada anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode observasi melalui pengamatan keterampilan berbicara dengan kalimat yang lengkap dan kosakata yang baik dan tepat dalam berkomunikasi. Teknik observasi  dilakukan  dengan mendata struktur kalimat yang diujarkan oleh anak usia dini. Selain  itu, dilakukan perbandingan keterampilan berbicara antara anak-anak yang menonton channel Kisah Islami dan  tidak menonton channel tersebut. Keterampilan berbicara menggunakan kalimat lengkap disesuaikan dengan keterampilan berbicara pada anak secara umum berdasarkan tahap  perkembangan bahasa anak. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian  ini adalah bahwa anak usia dini yang  lebih banyak  menonton channel Kisah Islami lebih terampil berbicara dengan kalimat yang lengkap dibanding anak-anak lainya yang tidak  menonton  channel  tersebut. Kalimat yang diujarkan oleh anak usia dini dapat dianalisis dan dikategorikan sesuai kelengkapan struktur kalimat, seperti subjek, predikat, objek, dan keterangan serta penggunaan kata yang tepat.

Abstract

PARENTING SCHOOL FOR FATHERS OF EARLY CHILDHOOD WITH SINGLE PARENT STATUS ACCORDING TO THE LIFE GUIDELINES FOR MUHAMMADIYAH CITIZENS. Early childhood care in Ponorogo Regency still has many problems. The high number of migrant workers who are dominated by mothers makes child care less than optimal because it is completely left to fathers. Early childhood are raised by single father so that children's rights are not well served. This parental school aims to provide understanding to parents, especially fathers, in nurturing and caring for their children. The method of this service activity is in the form of training and seminars on appropriate parenting for early childhood development. This service activity involves doctors, academics, and Muhammadiyah activists as resource persons. The results of the service showed that there were 15 fathers of early childhood who attended the parental school which was held on November 14, 2021. They were very enthusiastic in participating in this activity from beginning to end. The materials given to the participants were early childhood growth and development, parenting typology, and child education in Islam. It is hoped that through this program fathers can care for, nurture, and raise their children well in accordance with Islamic religious guidance.
