The test results found that theantagonist Bacillus cereus isolates to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteriaAeromonas sp and two species of Vibrio sp. While the bacteriaStrenotrophomonas maltophilia showed no antagonism against pathogens.

Abstract

KEK (Chronic Energy Deficiency) is one of the problems of malnutrition caused by unbalanced food intake that can be experienced by everyone, even pregnant women during their pregnancy. The problem of pregnant women experiencing SEZ is one of the focuses of attention and one of the performance indicators of the Ministry of Health's program, because based on the Directorate General of Public Health in 2017, the percentage indicator of SEZ pregnant women is expected to decrease by 1.5% annually and at the end of the period in 2019, maximum pregnant women with the risk of CED is 18.2%. The research method used in this study is a literature review. Article searches were carried out on Google with the keywords Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women. The selected articles were articles in Indonesian and in English as many as 10 journals that could be accessed. The results showed that pregnant women who suffered from CED experienced less carbohydrate intake. Chronic energy deficiency (KEK) is one of the nutritional problems that occur in pregnant women. So what is done to overcome KEK in pregnant women is to provide food intake that contains balanced nutrition because insufficient energy intake will have an impact on the lack of availability of other nutrients such as fat and protein which are alternative energy sources. If the body lacks energy content, then protein and fat will undergo changes to become a source of energy, so that these two substances will decrease their function.
