Jamu Pegel Linu is one of the most popular herbs in Indonesia and oftenly the producers added medicinal chemicals (BKO) so that the resulting therapeutic effect is more effective. One of the BKO added is mefenamic acid. The added content of mefenamic acid can cause harmful side effects such as seizures and can even cause coma. This study aimed to detect the BKO content of mefenamic acid in Jamu Pegel Linu distributed in Pekalongan region. This research was a descriptive study with purposive sampling. The sample used was all Jamu pegel linu that were distributing in Pekalongan region that were included the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analytical method used is Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) with a mobile phase in the form of ethyl acetate: methanol: ammonia (80:10:10). Spotting detection was carried out under UV light at λ 254 nm. The results of the spots obtained were compared with a comparison standard. To ensure the results obtained are confirmed using the color reaction method. The results of testing of 27 samples by TLC method obtained there are 3 (three) samples of herbal medicine giving positive results indicated by the similarity of rf values with comparative standards. The results obtained were tested qualitatively with color reagents to strengthen the results.

Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) RT.03 RW. 05 Dukuh Poncol Kelurahan Poncol Kecamatan Pekalongan Timur Kota Pekalongan merupakan mitra PkM yang diusulkan. Anggota mitra PkM ini terdiri dari ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang tidak produktif secara ekonomi. Namun berhasrat kuat menjadi kelompok ekonomi produktif dengan memanfaatkan pekarangan yang mereka miliki guna peningkatan kesehatan dan ekonomi keluarga. Pengusul dengan mitra PkM telah melakukan observasi melalui FGD, dan terumuskan permasalahan mitra. Progam Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di bulan Juni – September 2021, bertempat di RT.03 RW.05 Dukuh Poncol Pekalongan Timur. Sasaran kegiatan adalah Ibu-Ibu PKK RT.03 RW. 05 Dukuh Poncol Pekalongan Timur. Progam PkM ini secara garis besar Pengurusan Ijin Pelaksanaan Kegiatan PkM, Sosialisasi Kegiatan Kepada Mitra dan Pembentukan Koordinator, Penyuluhan Manfaat TOGA,Pemahaman apakah TOGA itu, Jenis-jenis tanaman TOGA, Penyuluhan manfaat TOGA untuk Kesehatan, Penyuluhan dan Pelatihan Pemanfaatan Hasil TOGA, dan Monitoring dan Evaluasi (monev) disetiap progam yang dilaksanakan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini sangat memberikan manfaat terutama bagi warga RT.03 RW. 05 Poncol Pekalongan Timur yakni meningkatnya pengetahuan warga terhadap Toga, cara memanfaatkan TOGA guna mengatasi masalah kesehatan, dan pengolahan TOGA menjadi produk bernilai ekonomi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai postes sasaran yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan atau pemahaman sasaran mengenai TOGA.

Penyakit Diabetes merupakan penyakit silent killer yang menyerang masyarakat diseluruh wilayah Indonesia. Penyakit Diabetes salah satunya menjadi penyakit tertinggi di Batang yang penderitanya adalah lansia. Obat-obatan kimia bukan menjadi pilihan utama untuk dikonsumsi dalam jangka Panjang akibatnya kadar gula darah tidak sedikit yang dimiliki oleh penderita dapat terkontrol. Hal ini menyebabkan banyak penderita diabetes yang akhirnya mengalami ulkus diabetik. Ulkus Diabetik merupakan salah satu komplikasi kronik dari penyakit diabetes melitus. Banyak pengobatan “Back to Nature” yang telah dilakukan, Batang merupakan daerah yang masih sangat mudah ditemukannya bahan-bahan alam. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui jenis senyawa kimia yang terkandung dalam tanaman yang berfungis untuk luka diabetes. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur, artikel dari tahun 2015 sampai 2020. Hasil Uji menunjukan bahwa dari 5 artikel yang meniliti kandungan senyawa kimia dalam tanaman untuk penyembuhan luka diabetes adalah saponin, tannin dan flavonoid..

Rhodamine B is prohibited additive used on foods. If these compound into the body, can lead to damage to the liver, kidney, spleen and anatomical changes in organs. However, this compound is found in many foods that are red as chili sauce. To protect the public from abuse of these compounds, the study of Rhodamine B in chili sauce sold in the traditional market needs to be done. This research is descriptive qualitative. The location was used in this study is mains three traditional markets in the city of Pekalongan with a total of samples chilli sauce is eight. Rhodamine B in chili sauce detected by linking the coumpoud on the wool yarn, then washed with water flowing. Chili sause samples tasted positive for Rhodamine B, if the analyte bound to the wool yarn can not be leached by water flowing. The result of this research was eight samples of the chili sauce does not contain dye Rhodamine B. As evidenced by the color of analyte Rhodamine B on wool yarn can be washed by water.

Indonesian society consume cooking oil in high quantities. This is caused, the cooking oil used in cooking maturation process to improve the taste. The value of free fatty acids is one of parameters to determine quality of cooking oil. Values higher fatty acid in the human body can increase the levels of bad fats or called LDL ((Low Density Lipoprotein), which triggers the emergence of heart disease. This study aims to determine the purity and quality of cooking oil in Pekalongan City.hypertension and cancer.Tests of saturated fatty acid numbers are carried out, referring to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 01-3741-2013. Terms of good quality oil in alkalimetry method not more than 0.6 mgKOH / g. The sample in this study was a sample of bulk and packaged cooking oil in the Pekalongan region.Samples obtained were 19 packaged cooking oils and 6 bulk cooking oils. The test results indicate that the fatty acids of the 25 samples tested were in the range of 0.040 to 0.5 mgKOH / g sample. Overall samples meet the required standard of SNI 01-3741-2013 that is not more than 0.6 mgKOH / g sample. so it can be concluded that the quality of cooking oil sold in the Pekalongan region is good.

Formaldehyde and Boris acid are dangerous preservatives which are added to many types of food by irresponsible traders Formaldehyde is used because the price is relatively cheap and it can make food last a long time, while borax can also increase suppleness and give a savory taste. The use of formaldehyde and borax additives violates RI Regulation No. 033 of 2012 concerning prohibited food additives. The danger of continual exposure to formaldehyde and borax can cause respiratory irritation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, cell changes / cell death that can lead to cancer and death. The purpose of this study was to determine the presence of formalin in several types of food circulating in the city / district of Pekalongan from 2018 to 2019. The samples used were wet noodles, meatballs, salted fish, tofu, and brains. Formalin testing was carried out qualitatively using Schiff reagents by observing the color changes that occur. And qualitative testing of borax by flame test and turmeric test. The results showed that in 2018 and 2019 the level of use of formalin was high with a percentage above 40% and the use of boric acid around 12.5-13.33% so it could be said to be unfit for consumption and not good for health.

Cosmetics play an important role for a woman so that many women do various ways to beautify themselves, including by using cosmetics. In the era of globalization, people's cosmetic needs are increasing, so the circulation of cosmetic products tends to increase. This triggers competition among producers to offer superior products that can attract consumers. This competition is the cause of the emergence of unscrupulous producers to abuse active substances that are prohibited in cosmetics such as rhodamine B dye. its use is prohibited because the impact can be detrimental to the user. The purpose of this study was to determine the Rhodamine B dye in cosmetic preparations in several types of preparations circulating in the Pekalongan Region. In this study, descriptive research method was used, namely qualitative identification of samples in the laboratory using thin layer chromatography to determine the presence of Rhodamine B dye by applying the concept of Green Chemistry. In principle, Green Chemistry is an effort to apply research methods that develop chemical processes and environmentally friendly chemical products. The results of the study stated that from 17 samples, 3 samples were declared positive for containing Rhodamine B in the samples coded BB, LC and ED. The research results obtained can be used as a reference for the public to be more careful and thorough in choosing cosmetics.

In this time, most society have the solid activity, so that society tend to to chosen the way of more practical with the expense which cheaper relative in fulfilling amount of water required drink the nya that is by using drinking water refill (Sulityandari, 2009). Water consumed shall fulfill the good water quality, for that observation to irrigate refill to utilize to protect consumer. Research to know whether system of sterilization of drinking water refill (DAMIU) in Town and Regency Pekalongan yield the water which with quality and competent to be consumed.Research diskriptif to see the system of sterilization of drinking water refill ( DAMIU) in Town and Pekalongan Regency yield the water which with quality and can be consumed by conducting test of cemaran of bacterium Colioform. Sampel Research use 37 DAMIU which is gone the round of Town and Regency Pekalongan enlisted by and also not yet been enlisted in DINKES Town and or Regency Pekalongan.Result of research region of subdistrict Wiradesa 5 from 12 sampel give the impure result which are positive by bacterium Colioform. Result of test DAMIU region of subdistrict of North Pekalongan 5 from 13 impure sampel by bacterium Colioform. Result of test DAMIU region of subdistrict of East Pekalongan 6 from 12 impure sampel by bacterium Colioform. All DAMIU which used as sampel have opened enlisted Public Health Service of Pekalongan town and also regency and a Quality inspection irrigate.Keywords: Sterilization system, town or Bat regency.
