Abstract

Media massa saat ini menjadi alat komunikasi yang banyak digunakan untuk berkomunikasi. Hal tersebut dikarenakan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang diikuti dengan perkembangan media massa. Media massa telah menjadi industri besar di tengah kehidupan masyarakat. Jangkauan pengiriman pesan dari komunikator kepada komunikan juga sangat luas sehingga penyebaran informasi juga semakin mudah dan cepat. Media saat ini sering kali digunakan sebagai alat untuk menyampaikan dakwah dari da’i kepada mad’u. Dalam dunia jurnalistik, para jurnalis dianggap tidak hanya sekedar sebagai penyampai informasi tetapi juga dianggap sebagai penyeru kebajikan. Jurnalis yang idealnya melakukan kegiatan jurnalistik dapat dikatakan layaknya seorang da’i yang diistilahkan sebagai jurnalistik dakwah. Jurnalistik dakwah merupakan sebagai suatu proses meliput, mengolah, dan menyebarluaskan berbagai peristiwa dengan muatan nilai-nilai kebenaran yang sesuai dengan ajaran Islam, khususnya yang menyangkut agama dan umat Islam. Jurnalistik dakwah sering kali diidentikkan dengan dakwah melalui tulisan atau biasa disebut dakwah kitabah. Dakwah kitabah yaitu proses penyampaian ajaran Islam melalui bahasa tulisan bisa berupa buku, majalah, jurnal, surat kabar, pamflet, dan brosur yang berisikan pesan-pesan keislaman. Dakwah tersebutlah yang dilakukan oleh para jurnalis yang menyebarluaskan pesan dakwah melalui informasi aktual dan kebenaran melalui tulisannya di media massa.

Abstract

This research concentrates with the function and the role of mass communication which has a significant contribution toward people’s life. The objective of this research is to figure out the role and the function of mass communcation. The use of method is qualitative and the technique analysis is about descriptive analysis. The data collected by exploring all literatures related to mass communication. The result of this clarifies that the role and the function of mass communciation are still sticking with their function and role that are live experiencing, communicator, information taker, interactive network, and road mapping. The function is qualified by providing information, education, influencing, and entertainment.

Abstract

Communication is a very important thing in everyday life. Through communication, there is an interaction between communicator and communicant with the aim of achieving an equation. The communication process can be interpreted as an activity of 'transfer information' or message from the sender of the message as a communicator and to the recipient as a communicant. In the communication process aims to achieve mutual understanding between the two parties involved in the communication process. In the process of communication, the communicator sends messages or information to the communicant as the target of communication. In the communication process, it must work as its function. No exception to Islamic communication. The functions of Islamic communication are very important to be implemented so that communication is carried out not only as a process but communicators and communicants can get a good impact. Islamic communication functions are discussed in several parts, namely: information functions, convincing functions, reminding functions, motivating functions, social functions, guidance functions, satisfaction functions, spiritual, and entertainment functions. In the digital era with the rapid development of media, the function is easily applied because it follows the convenience given to communicators and communicants. But there needs to be limitations that must be made so that the functions of Islamic communication that are applied are able to bring benefits to themselves and society in general and avoid things that are not in accordance with the values of religion and culture adopted.

Abstract

The presence of an editorial text can be interpreted as an important thing because it gives its characteristics as well as its impression. Moving on from the explanation above, the media usually uses editorial as a propaganda material or tool which is usually aimed at certain groups or circles, to influence attitudes and behavior related to certain issues as well. Editorial policy refers to a certain segmentation of readers and the basic attitude of newspapers to determine the next step. In the scope of journalism, text editor is very important, especially in print media. Therefore, it is not just anyone who is assigned to write for the editorial. This research is qualitative research. Qualitative research aims to explain a phenomenon or object of research more broadly and completely through in-depth data collection. According to Mantra, the qualitative method is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of words or words from people and observable behavior. This study uses a methodological library approach and scientifically uses a Communication Science approach. To analyze the behavior of editors in Tribun Bone news, the author uses the Roland Barthes model. The results of this research show that editorial behavior in the news reviewed in the Tribun Kota rubric in Media Tribune Bone displays media ideology that displays the sides of humanity (humanism), counter to crime and criminal behavior, morality, and gender issues.
