Abstract

Trademark as an activity to make a name, symbol or identity to distinguish one product/service from another product/service. Therefore, entrepreneurs/business owners/startup founders need to consider how brands are for products/services that they want to sell. With a brand, the total value of the product is higher so that consumers can see the brand as an important part of the product. Consumers will more easily differentiate company products from competitors through brands. However, the importance of giving brand to the product was not realized by SMEs who were in Ngawen and Randuboto Villages, Sidayu District, Gresik Regency. Their only focus is product sales. Brands can be a long-term investment for business owners. Brands that are well managed by business owners will provide long-term benefits. The purpose of this outreach program is to provide training on how to make a good brand so that it can be easily recognized by the general public. The outputs of this outreach program activity are brand designs that are ready to be printed and pasted on the product packaging of business actors. The results of this outreach program activity show that several business actors have been able to create attractive brands so that they can be easily recognized by consumers and ultimately create an identity for SME products in Sidayu District, Gresik

Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program in Indonesia must be supported by universities. Street Vendors (PKL) as part of the Micro Small and Medium Entity (EMKM) Surabaya Mining Culinary Center is mostly as a 2017 Prolink Environmental Program pilot area which is demanded to be a competitive and productive EMKM in national and global markets for sustainable development which does not yet have knowledge about sustainability and K3. Community Service Activities (PKM) provide training on sustainability and basic OSH to go to SGDs given to 30 EMKM. This activity was carried out through the collaboration of the Mandiri FE Unesa PKM Team in collaboration with the Surabaya City Cooperative and UMKM Service, Surabaya City Fire Department. This activity aims to strengthen sustanainability behavior, by: providing knowledge about how to change sustainability behavior and basic K3. Activities consist of growing sustainability behaviors and basic K3. The results of the PKM activities showed that EMKM participants in the Surabaya Mining Culinary Center were able to apply sustainability and OSH behavior to their culinary business. Furthermore, it was suggested to all relevant parties to participate in strengthening the K3 and sustainability behavior of the culinary business EMKM in Surabaya Culinary Center to accelerate the achievement of SDGs.Keywords: Behavior, Sustainability, SDGs, K3, EMKM

Abstract

Suatu organisasi dalam melakukan aktivitasnya pastiakan dihadapkan pada permasalahan tentang perilaku dalamorganisasi. Tantangan utama bagi setiap perusahaan adalahmenghadapi perubahan yang terjadi, setiap karyawan memilikitingkat kemampuan yang berbeda dalam menanggapi danmengelola perubahan tersebut. Peranan organisasi tidak lagidifokuskan pada persoalan eksternal organisasi, tetapi lebihditekankan pada bagaimana internal organisasi mampu bertahandan belajar ditengah persaingan yang ada. Inovasi organisasisendiri memiliki beberapa indikator diantaranya adalah inovasiteknologi, inovasi administrasi, dan inovasi pemasaran.Organisasi yang ingin meningkatkan inovasinya harusmampu menggabungkan pendekatan ilmiah dan pemikiran yangkreatif, inovatif serta daya intuitif dalam mengambil seluruhlangkah proses pengambilan keputusan. Kepuasan kerja akanmenjadi baik tentunya perlu adanya faktor-faktor yang bisameningkatkan kepuasan kerja tersebut. faktor yangmempengaruhi kepuasan kerja, salah satunya adalah inovasiorganisasi. Kepuasan kerja bersangkutan dengan total sikapterhadap berbagai aspek pekerjaan proses dari hasil yangdiperoleh dalam memenuhi harapan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empirispengaruh inovasi organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja. Jenispenelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, metode analisisstatistik yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linier Berganda denganbantuan software SPSSHasil uji signifikansi inovasi organisasi berpengaruhsignifikan positif terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan nilai Nilai thitungsebesar 2,279.Kata Kunci : Inovasi Organisasi dan Kepuasan Kerja

Abstract

Abstract: In any organization, human resources has an important role in achieving efficiency and effectiveness of the organization by managing physical resources, financial, and human beings in the most effective and efficient. Extrinsic Motivation and Work Environment is one of the factors that can affect the performance of the employees. Mechanical sampling using simple random sampling with a sample of 150 respondents. This research used SPSS (Statistic Program for Social System) version 23 for windows. Based on causality test found a significant positive effect of the work environment and work stress on employee performance with T-statistic values of 4,376 and 4,393.The results showed that the magnitude of the effect of the work environment and work stress on employee performance by 66.2% while the remaining 33.8% is influenced by other variables.Keywords: Work Environment, Work Stress and Employee PerformanceAbstrak: Dalam setiap organisasi, sumber daya manusia memiliki peranan penting dalam pencapaian efisiensi dan efektifitas organisasi dengan mengelola sumber daya fisik, keuangan, dan manusia dalam cara yang paling efektif dan efisien. Motivasi Ekstrinsik dan Lingkungan Kerja merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis apakah motivasi ekstrinsik dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 150 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan software SPSS (Statistic Program for Social System) versi 23 for windows. Berdasarkan uji kausalitas didapatkan pengaruh yang signifikan positif lingkungan kerja dan stress kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai T-statistik sebesar 4,376 dan 4,393. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan stress kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 66,2% sedangkan sisanya 33,8% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.Kata kunci : Lingkungan Kerja, Stress Kerja dan Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract

This research aims to explain how competence and work motivation affect employee performance in an insurance company. This research use 35 employees at PT. Asuransi Umum Bumi Putera Muda Unit Syariah Surabaya as a sample. Data collection use observations, interviews and (primary) questionnaires. This research uses data analysis of validity, reliability, classic assumption, and hypothesis tests. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression with SPSS. This research shows that competence and work motivation simultaneously have a significant influence on employee performance. Partially, competence has positive and significant on employee performance. The result shows that the competencies possessed by the employee have an impact on employee performance. As well as role work motivation has positive and not significant on employee performance. The results of data testing show that the work motivation provided by the company has no impact on employee performance. The company must facilitate employees to increase competence and work motivation since employee performance correlates with firm performance.

Abstract

This study examines the role of recruitment and job placement at PT. Indomarco Adi Prima Surabaya influence work productivity. This research with a quantitative approach has 60 populations. The tests performed were data analysis of validity, reliability, and classic assumption tests, including normality test, autocorrelation test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. Furthermore, hypothesis testing includes test (R2), T statistical test, F statistical test, and multiple linear regression test. Data collection use observations, interviews and (primary) questionnaires. Data analysis use multiple linear regression with SPSS (v.18). The results showed that partially and simultaneously, the variables of recruitment and job placement had a significant positive effect on employee work productivity. Partially the better the recruitment system, the better work productivity will be. Likewise, a good job placement will increase employee work productivity. Furthermore, simultaneously the variable recruitment and good work placement will increase employee productivity.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the impact of the High-Performance Work System (HPWS) and role conflict on job satisfaction at PT Temprina Media Grafika, Nganjuk Branch. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling—this study uses questionnaires distributed to 40 office employees who worked at PT Temprina Media Grafika Nganjuk. The statistical analysis used in this study was multiple linear tests using SPSS. The results of data testing indicate that HPWS has a significant positive relationship with job satisfaction. This shows that the practice of HPWS in the company is going well, and the level of perceived job satisfaction has also increased. As well as role conflict has a significant negative relationship with job satisfaction. The data test results show that role conflicts that occur within the company will result in a decrease in job satisfaction felt by employees.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of compensation variable significantly on employee turnover intention. This study also wanted to know the effect of work environment on employee turnover intention. And this study tested together the variable compensation and working environment of this study against variable turnover intention. Empirically this research results in a significan influence between variable independent and dependent. Where partially compensated variables have a sig value of 0.00 and a working environment variable with a sig value of 0.011 with a determination value of R2 = 0.532 equivalent to 53.2%. It is described that both variable independent research can explain its relationship with its dependent variables strongly. The value of Fcalculated > Table Ftabel is 41,303 in table 3. At the results of this research the company was asked to be able to provide a large compensation that is tailored to the level of needs of employees in general and the procurement and improving of the facilities and pre-existing in the company's.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the impact of a work conflict and work motivation on employee performance. The research method is quantitative research. The sample in this study is 40 employees. The statistical analysis used in this study is the validity and reliability test, classical assumption test, and multiple linear tests. Data processing using SPSS software version 18. This study shows that work conflict has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance and work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This study implies that work conflicts that occur in employees in the company do not make the level of performance decrease; besides, the company has succeeded in implementing work motivation because the higher the motivation of employees, the higher the performance for the company.
