Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA SMP berorientasi pada pembelajaran kontekstual. Siswa diarahkan untuk belajar melalui lingkungan sekitar. Lingkungan sekitar memiliki potensi lokal yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar. Potensi lokal dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran IPA dengan cara melakukan pemetaan potensi lokal dan materi IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan potensi lokal yang dapat diintegrasikan dengan pembelajaran IPA SMP/MTs melalui pembelajaran kontekstual. Studi literatur dan survey digunakan sebagai metode penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 5 materi IPA SMP berhasil dipetakan. Materi IPA meliputi: Energi dalam sistem kehidupan, kependudukan dan lingkungan, lingkungan biotik dan abiotik, fluida, serta suhu dan kalor. Potensi lokal meliputi: waduk PLTA musi, danau suro, kebunteh kabawetan, air terjun sengkuang, sumber air panas sempiang, sungai musi, dan bunga rafflesia arnoldi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sekampung dalam pembelajaran fisika melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas, dimana peneliti mengamati secara langsung objek di lapangan yang meliputi dua siklus pembelajaran, satu siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Sebagai objek dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Sekampung. Metode pengumpulan data keterampilan berpikir kritis menggunakan tes uraian, sedangkan data kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis masalah menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah mengintegrasikan langkah-langkah pembelajaran berbasis masalah ke dalam keterampilan berpikir kritis, sehingga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada keterampilan analisis sebesar 64,44% pada siklus I dan 75,55% pada siklus II, keterampilan berpikir sintesis 57,77. % pada siklus I dan 66,66% pada siklus II, keterampilan berpikir pemecahan masalah 38,88% pada siklus I dan 72,22% pada siklus II, keterampilan menyimpulkan 52,22% pada siklus I dan 70% pada siklus II, dan keterampilan mengevaluasi atau menilai 47,77% pada siklus I dan 62,22% pada siklus II pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sekampung pada materi statik fluida Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) adalah pelatihan pembuatan konten online learning guru MTs Darussalam Kota Bengkulu. Mitra PkM adalah MTs Darussalam Kota Bengkulu yang berjulah 30 orang. Metode pelaksanaan ceramah, tanya jawab, praktik, dan evaluasi. Hasil pembuatan konten online learning guru MTs Darussalam Kota Bengkulu telah menunjukkan keberhasilan dan telah tercapai dengan baik sesuai dengan harapan. Para peserta pelatihan merasakan manfaat dari program ini dari sisi pengetahuan maupun teknis. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan ketrampilan dan pemahaman peserta meningkat terkait pembuatan konten online learning dengan  power point. Kegitan pendampinga masih perlu dilakukan secara kontinu untuk mematangkan keterampilan guru-guru dalam pembutan konten online yang dikembangkan dari bahan ajar. The Online Learning Content Creation for Teachers in MTs Darussalam, Bengkulu City Abstract The purpose of the Community Service (PkM) activity is training in the creation of online learning content for teachers at MTs Darussalam Bengkulu City. PkM partners are MTs Darussalam Bengkulu City with a total of 30 people. Methods of implementation of lectures, questions and answers, practice, and evaluation. The results of creating online learning content for MTs Darussalam teachers in Bengkulu City have shown success and have been achieved well as expected. The training participants benefit from this program from a piece of knowledge and technical perspective. Through this activity, it is hoped that the skills and understanding of participants will increase regarding the creation of online learning content with power points. Mentoring activities still need to be carried out continuously to mature the skills of teachers in making online content developed from teaching materials.

Abstract

This study aims: to produce a learning model based on Local Wisdom Piil Pesenggiri knowledge that has characteristics that can improve the process skills and values of elementary school characters, produce a science learning model based on Piil Pesenggiri Local Wisdom based on appropriate knowledge to improve process skills and values of elementary school character, produce a model of science learning based on Piil Pesenggiri Local Wisdom which is effective for improving the process skills and characters values of elementary school. This research using the ADDIE step of the Research and Development method. The trial subjects included elementary school grade IV students in Lampung Province. Need assessment data is collected by interview, questionnaire, and observation. The feasibility data of the learning model were collected using a validation sheet questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively and statistically. This study's results are expected to make the model of learning science-based on local wisdom Piil Pesenggiri can lead to the development of a learning science model on local wisdom in other regions throughout Indonesia. This development is expected to help students be more interested in learning, understanding their own culture, and becoming students who have good character values.

Abstract

This study investigates the use of self-regulated in blended learning by students in doctoral education courses to complete advanced statistics lectures. Self-regulated in blended learning is described in four phases according to Zimmerman, namely planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reinforcing. The participants consisted of five students from 5 different disciplines, and were willing to share their learning experiences. Research data obtained by interview method and analyzed qualitatively. Validation uses two strategies, namely member checking and peer debriefing. Member checking is done after the data is formulated into themes, then the researcher will bring it back to the participants to find out their accuracy. Peer debriefing was conducted by colleagues to review and ask critical questions about this research. Colleagues have at least a doctoral degree. The results show that planning for the completion of student assignments begins with (1) setting goals and planning strategies with (a) planning time for completing assignments; (b) Cooperation with peers online and off-line; and (c) planning for technical issues; (2) Regularly calculate their scores every week after being given feedback on the results of the lecturer's assessment, and save the feedback results from completed assignments; (3) using assignment assessment rubrics, using lecturer feedback, and grades, to measure progress in lectures; (4) the strategies they have designed and implemented have succeeded in making success in doing the task.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the level of suitability of students' physics learning habits, (2) the level of suitability of students' physics learning outcomes in terms of students' learning habits. Descriptive research method is used in this research. The research sample consisted of 30 grade VII students of SMP PGRI 3 Sekampung which were obtained through proportional random sampling technique. The test method is used to obtain data on learning outcomes. Questionnaire and interview methods were used to obtain data on the results of learning habits. Data were analyzed using scoring with good, moderate, and poor criteria. The results showed that: (1) grade VII students of SMP PGRI 3 Sekampung had "good" learning habits (40%) and the proportion "moderate" (40%), (2) grade VII students of SMP PGRI 3 Sekampung had a good match between the proportion of study habits and learning outcomes (80%). Abstract

Artikel ini adalah hasil pengabdian berupa pelatihan yang dilakukan oleh dosen Program Studi Doktor Pendidikan FKIP Universitas Bengkulu bersama mahasiswa dengan memberi pemahaman bagi guru SMP Negeri 06 Kabupaten Kaur, Provinsi Bengkulu tentang penulisan dan publikasi Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah 1) menjelaskan kepada peserta pelatihan tentang apa dan bagaimana penulisan dan publikasi PTK; 2) memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta pelatihan untuk berdiskusi; dan 3) peserta pelatihan diajak untuk bersama-sama menulis dan mengetahui cara mempublikasikan PTK. Hasil dari pelatihan ini, peserta memahami bagaimana membuat penulisan PTK yang baik dan harus dipublikasikan. Artikel ini baru, karena belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya tentang bagaimana menulis sekaligus mempublikasikan. Kontribusi artikel ini dapat memberi pemahaman baru bagi para guru bagaimana menulis yang baik dan benar serta harus dipublikasikan di mana hasil tulisan yang telah dibuat.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to design a digital-based physics pocket book with a short calculation method for junior high school students. This type of research and development is used in this study. At the design stage, we selected the ADDIE model. The design phase includes: the analysis phase, the stage design, the stage of development. Research data obtained by reviewing the curriculum, interviews, and validation questionnaires. Class VII, VIII, IX students, as many as 9 people, became the subject of a limited trial in this study. Data analysis was carried out by reviewing curriculum content, descriptive interview results, and quantitative analysis for validation. The results showed that the design of a digital-based physics pocket book with a short calculation method was valid and could be used by Junior high school students. Keywords digital book, pocket book, short count method, physics learning. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang buku saku fisika berbasis digital disertai cara hitung singkat bagi siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian dan pengembangan digunakan dalam penelitian ini.  Pada tahap perancangan, model ADDIE dipilih. Tahap perancangan meliputi: tahap analisis, tahap desain, tahap pengembangan. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan telaah kurikulum, wawancara, dan angket validasi. Siswa kelas VII, VIII, IX, sebanyak 9 orang, menjadi subyek uji coba terbatas dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data dilakukan dengan telaah isi kurikulum, deskriptif hasil wawancara, dan analisis kuantitatif untuk hasil validasi. Abstract

This study aims to reconstruct the original knowledge of the community in the pendap production process into scientific knowledge used as a medium for science learning. Data collection was carried out on Jalan Irian, Tanjung Agung Village, Sungai Serut District, Bengkulu City. The research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data obtained is then analyzed, verified, and reduced then constructed into scientific knowledge and interpreted into science concepts in science learning. The results of the study indicate that the process of making pendap by the community can be interpreted into scientific knowledge and implemented in science learning. This study concludes that the pendap production process is the community's original knowledge, which is used as a science learning medium.

Abstract

Many instructors do not use automatically quoting and producing bibliographies, the present service is attempting to assist teachers in using the Mendeley program. This workshop seeks to increase MI Humaira instructors' abilities to cite and write bibliographies using the Mendeley program. The course takes a performance-based approach, although it begins with explaining and providing examples before assisting with installation and sync to Microsoft Word. There were 20 instructors from MI Humaira who took part in this training. The outcome of this exercise was that the participants were able to master Mendeley when writing scientific articles.
