Abstract

This paper discusses the integration of character values in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) subject. This integration needs to be done considering the increasing number of national problems, such as brawls, drug abuse, corruption, money politics, abuse of authority, and so on. Several character values such as religious values, love for the country, democracy, honesty, hard work and others need to be integrated into PPKn learning. So far, PPKn studies have only been studied with regard to cognitive aspects, while affective and psychomotor aspects have not been given sufficient space to improve student character scores. Strategic and methodological rarities are needed such as planning, implementing and evaluating PPKn learning. As a recommendation to every educator to improve their knowledge, skills, and methodological abilities such as workshops and further study.

Abstract

This article aimed at describing the history of Ma'had Al-Birr at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar and explaining the educational programs developed in accordance with the demands of the times. Data collection methods were in-depth interview, observation, and document study relating to Ma'had Al-Birr. Data Analysis was carried out by following the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, namely data condensation, data display, verification and conclusion drawing. In order to have accurate data, the researchers conducted internal, external, dependability and objectivity validity. The results showed that since its establishment in 1996, Ma'had Al-Birr of UNISMUH Makassar developed according to the needs of the community. The establishment was based on the collaboration between UNISMUH and the Dār al-Birr foundation that changed its name became the Asian Muslim Foundation in 2002. Ma'had Al-Birr of UNISMUH carried out the Arabic education program (I'dad Lughawy), tahfidz Al-Qur'an, Da'wah, and Shari 'ah.

Abstract

This paper discusses the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a printed teaching material product developed based on Mind Mapping. This type of research is development research to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. The location of this research was carried out at SMA Negeri 9 Marusu kab. Maros. The development of this teaching material refers to the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data were analyzed to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the products that have been developed. The results showed that 1) The validity of the mind mapping-based Islamic Religious Education teaching materials at SMA Negeri 9 Marusu, Maros Regency. Based on the validation carried out by the validator, the validity results are obtained, namely, content validity, linguistic validity, presentation validity, and graphic validity; 2) The practicality of mind mapping-based Islamic Religious Education teaching materials at SMA Negeri 9 Marusu, Maros Regency. The practicality of the module data is in the very good category because the score obtained from the average student response values is 85% with a range of 81%-100%; and 3) The effectiveness of mind mapping-based Islamic Religious Education teaching materials to improve student learning outcomes at SMAN 9 Marusu, Maros Regency. Based on the results of the effectiveness test, the value of R = 6.81 was obtained. The data obtained means that R> 1, effectively 02 is more effective than 01. So the posttest is more effective.

Abstract

Abstrack: The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of emotional and spiritual quotient in learning Islamic religious education at SMA Negeri 20 Pangkep. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological and pedagogical-psychological approach. The location of this research is SMA Negeri 20 Pangkep in class X. The data source is the primary data of all Islamic religious education teachers, while the secondary data is RPP documents related to the object under study. Data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation, then data processing using the Milles and Huberman model (data reduction, data presentation and conclusion) with analysis using triangulation to ensure data validity against the focus under study. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of emotional and spiritual quotient in Islamic religious education learning at SMA Negeri 20 Pangkep is an Islamic religious education learning activity in which several emotional and spiritual quotient indicators are integrated, including; managing self-emotion, empathy, building relationships (relations), meaning and high self-awareness. This concept is combined by the Islamic religious education teacher at SMA Negeri 20 Pangkep in implementing Emotional and Spiritual quotient.

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of the application of online learning with the presentation system of the hiwar method and the assignment method on interest in Islamic education subject (PAI) learning at Senior High School (SMAN) 5 Soppeng. The type of research this research is ex-post facto. Ex-post facto research is research in which the independent variables have been treated, or treatment was not carried out at the time of the research. In this research, the data generated is not in the form of numbers, but data that is expressed symbolically in the form of words. The learning methods that have been offered by the government, are not fully heeded by students. The reason is that many of them feel bored and tired due to the many tasks given by educators. The lesson schedule takes place like classroom learning, but learning is carried out at home so that if there are four subjects in a day, then they will get four assignments at once. To overcome this, it is necessary to have an interest in learning from students.

Abstract

This study examines and examines the use of Android-based animated videos in learning Islamic Religious Education in Elementary Schools, Benteng Islands Selayar District. The purpose of the study was to get an overview of the integration of android-based animation videos and to find a picture of the interaction that was built on the use of android-based animated videos in learning Islamic Religious Education at the Benteng Selayar Elementary School. This type of research is classified as qualitative descriptive with a phenomenological approach. The data sources of this research are the Principal, Islamic Religious Education Teachers, students and parents. The results of the study indicate that the integration of android-based animated videos in Islamic Religious Education learning is that Islamic Religious Education teachers carry out learning using learning media in the form of simple android-based animated videos.

Abstract

The results showed that the post-conflict Multicultural Islamic Education that took place in North Luwu seemed to emphasize religious moral values, such as compassion, love, help, respect for differences of opinion, respect for diversity of beliefs, and other attitudes that can create relationships. harmony between faith and culture. Multicultural education instilled in students is awareness of living in cultural diversity in society, respect for human rights, and efforts to minimize prejudice, especially interreligious prejudice that has been built up in North Luwu. All of these achievements are aimed at enlivening a harmonious society in terms of ethnic, religious and cultural diversity. In its implementation, the multicultural paradigm of religious education in North Luwu allows students to appreciate plurality and heterogeneity as well as the consequences of cultural, ethnic, sectarian and religious diversity which are the reality of the North Luwu community. The post-conflict Islamic education model in North Luwu consists of three models, namely through educational institutions both public schools and Islamic institutions, through mass and political organizations, and through Islamic organizations.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study are:1) To find out the implementation of the operational system of data processing of students by using a management information system in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nasrul Haq Makassar. 2) To find out the data processing process of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nasrul Haq Makassar. 3) To find out the impact of the use of management information systems on data processing of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nasrul Haq Makassar.  The type of this study is a qualitative field research using data collection methods, namely interviews, observation and documentation. Data processing of students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nasrul Haq based on management information systems is carried out using the online EMIS application, the process of data processing of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nasrul Haq follows four main steps, namely data collection, data input, information storage and retrieval to be used and the use of management information systems in the management of student data in Nasrul Haq Ibtidaiyah Madrasah provides benefits in the form of ease of data storage, information retrieval processes, data security and access to student information wherever and whenever needed.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to describe the understanding of the learning concepts of students taught using the mini book and crossword puzzle media in learning material of diversity in Indonesia. The type of research was a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The population \were 3 classes, namely class IV A, B, and C of MIN Bima City for the 2020/2021 academic year, consisting of 97 students. The instrument used was a test. The data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential statistics. The results indicated that (1) the average value of students’ understanding taught with mini-book was higher than without using media, (2) students taught with crossword puzzle media were higher than without using media, and (3) there was a significant difference in students' understanding of learning concepts on the material of diversity in Indonesia between the mini book and crossword puzzle media. The implication of this research showed that the mini book and crossword puzzle media could increase students' understanding of learning concepts.
