Abstract

During this time, many politicians were political without using the Qur'an's values to fight. Quite often from them they commit political rape which is very tarnishing the essence of politics. In fact, they were born from Rahim political party political parties. By Karen, it is time for Islamic politicians to re-understand, interpret and implement the Qur'an-based politics, based on the Sunnah of the Prophet and based on the sunnah of friends and follow ulamak whose knowledge is connected to the prophet and his heart contains Allah, the mind of the Ummah.

Abstract

Power plant system is far away from central load. This resulted losses in the distribution ofelectrical power. The loss caused by the channel is long enough. So, in the distribution of electricalpower through the transmission and distribution electrical power, there are always drop voltagealong the transmission line. Large voltage drop that occurs greatly be affected by the large currentsand impedance values so that the voltage drop occurs in feeder city in Rokan Hulu and voltage dropthat occurs in feeder city of 17,581 kV or 12,095 % is still in PLN standard because it has notexceeded the standards determined that is equal to ±10% of nominal voltage There are several waysto correct voltage drop in the study are using the method of replacing the feeder cable, Capacitorbanks and tap-changing tranformer. From the analysis of the obtained that big’s voltage drop thatoccurs less than the prior improvements that are very instrumental in reducing a large voltage drop.In this repair the best lessening voltage drop is use capacitor bank of 18,900 kV or 8,015% ofvoltage about. Abstract

This research discusses about the design and laboratory experiments for a module of prototype of hybrid system with three dc sources connected parallelly such as solar panels, windmills and waterwheels. This module is an important part of saving electricity consumption by using solar panels, windmills and waterwheels. It will receive power input from 3 sources, namely waterwheels, solar panels and windmills. It is shown that the simulation process and laboratory experiments can be drawn from several conclusions that this module can work in accordance with the desired conditions which can save electricity usage. Various dc voltage sources can be combined by supporting of contactor relays. The size of the dc voltage affects the power consumption from the source. Based on the prototype, the system implemented can increase the electricity consumption without PLN electricity. Keywords: hybrid system, dc voltage, relay contactor.

Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) substation Bangkinang is central to setting the load demand of electric power, central security equipment electrical power system and the center of the normalization of the disturbances in the region Bangkinang. DC source is the heart of the electrical distribution system, in which the reliability of the source of DC was very influential to the performance of theequipment for distribution of electrical energy, especially equipment that is in substations Bangkinang integrated with the equipment that serves as the primary distributor of electricity. DCsystem consists of a rectifier which serves to AC voltage converter to a DC voltage using AC as the input source being particularly vulnerable to the threat of disruption such as loss of voltage due to an AC source of the transformer substation outages own use due to interruption of transmission or power transformer. Therefore, to reduce the impact of losses in result of these disorders requires a DC system is reliable and high stability is equipped with a backup power source is a battery that isintegrated with the rectifier. In this study will measure the per-cell voltage of 110 Vdc battery and test the battery capacity of 110 VDC substation of 150 KV Bangkinang using non-hypotheticalkomprasi convening phenomenon comparison with the standard. Based on 110 Vdc battery capacity testing of substation of 150 KV Bangkinang NiCd battery bank can be said to be reliable because itworks over IEEE standards for testing after a 5 hour battery bank has a voltage of 94 V readable on a gauge. In the measuring instrument is known by 88 V Warning Limit, and Stop Limit is 86 V.In order to maintain the stability of the rectifier to the battery charging from AC voltage supply required stable from the substation.Keywords: Rectifier , Battery , Battery Capacity of Substations.

Abstract

Forecast of electrical energy needs in PLN Pekanbaru region in the next 10 years using a combined method is a method formulated by combining several methods such as analysis methods, econometric methods, and trend methods, with sectoral approaches is grouping PLN’s customers into four groups of sectors (house hold, commercial, public, and industrial). This forecast is based on the growth of energy consumption and economic growth. The data used is the historical data from 2001 to 2014. The results forecast of total electric energy needs from year 2015 to 2024 is 9.96% per year with energy needs in 2015 is 1899.99 GWh grow into 4466.52 GWh on 2024 while the peak load Pekanbaru City is 281.68 MW in 2015 and grew into a 662.18 MW in 2024.Keywords: forecasting energy needs, peak load, the trend

Abstract

Tidal energy is renewable energy. Its working principle uses water flow to turn turbin and produce electrical energy. This energy is obtained from variations in sea level caused by effects of moon’s gravity, which is combined with rotation of the earth by capturing energy contained transferly of water mass to tides. Kaplan turbine is a tool that can convert kinetic energy from water velocity, into motion energy. Analysis of Kaplan turbine performance using Compitational Fluid Dynamycs (CFD) simulation method, is the art to replace integral or Partial Derivative Equations, that explains fluid equation in algebraic form. This equation is solved numerically, to get the number of a strems at different points. Aerodynamic simulations on Kaplan turbines are carried out to determine the aerodynamic characteristics of designed Kaplan turbines. Data from Kaplan turbine aerodynamic simulation results are sufficient to meet the actual conditions, where tidal current velocity in this study site is 0.70 m/s to 1.60 m/s with head determined in various variations, namely 5.5m to 0.5m, produce turbine rotation of 7 RPM to 190 RPM with kinetic power of 3.5 kW to 1027 kW, and electrical power of 3.3 kW to 925 kW. With comparison of current speed from simulation results of 1.14 m/s to 4.41 m/s with head variations of 5.5 m to 0.5 m, resulting turbine rotation of 15 RPM to 525 RPM, with kinetic power of 6 kW to 2833 kW, and electrical power generated from 30 kW to 925 kW.Keywords: Aero Dynamycs Simulation, CFD, Energy Generation, Kaplan Turbine Design, Tides.

Abstract

One of the efforts that can be done from the depletion of the electric energy sources supply was to reduce the consumption of electric energy. It can be applied to the streetlights without reduced the use of its value. Jendral Sudirman Street Pekanbaru is one of the arterial roads that used conventional lamp SON-T 250 Watt. The existing streetlights condition at Jendral Sudirman street was not standardize at all points that have been set because of it’s not appropriate specification and placement of the pole. The streetlights conservation at Jendral Sudirman street to the 150 Watt LED energy saving lamp be required investment cost of Rp 1,289,666,668, with the electrical energy savings of 15 264 kWh per month and electrical cost savings per month up to Rp 23,265,999.36. The economic analysis which is obtained from the streetlights conservation activities at Jendral Sudirman in the form of NPV (Net Present Value) as much Rp 957,717,056.10, Gross B / C (Gross Benefit Cost Ratio) 1,742, and the payback period of benefits obtained (Payback Period) for 5.727 years.Keywords : Conservation, LED, economic analysis, NPV, Gross B / C, Payback Periode

Abstract

The automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is a major component in generating electrical energy. To improve the performance of the AVR system, controlling the proportional integral derivative (PID)is needed because it has a simple structure, is very strong in system variations, and easy to understand. The main problem for the PID controller is determining the appropriate parametervalues for the values of the proportional constant (Kp), the integral constant (Ki), and the differential constant (Kd) to obtain the optimal transient response. In the conventional methodbased on trial and error, a more efficient method is needed, namely Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), an optimization method based on a flock of bird population. The criteria the minimum errorintegral used as a fitness function in the PSO is the integral of time multiplied by squared error (ITSE). The parameter values used must meet the stability requirements, namely the stability characteristics of the Root Locus. PID control has a significant impact on the plant, this can be seen from the results that have a good level of stability. As for the criteria using the PSO-ITSEalgorithm has a better transient response. Abstract

In coal mining, to check the pH content of water in liquid waste from coal mining, mining workers mostly use the conventional method, namely by periodically measuring using a digital pH meter or litmus paper. Manual pH reading system makes handling slow. Based on these reasons the research designed a device that can monitor the pH value, the working principle of this tool is that the pH electrode is inserted into the sample solution and then the electrode detects the sample solution and will change the electrical signal where the output will be amplified by an amplifier circuit in the form of an analog voltage and will be converted. by Arduino Uno, analog data is converted into digital data or ADC (Analog To Digital Convertion) so that the results will be displayed on an LCD that is equipped with I2C. And this tool is also equipped with RTC (Real Time Clock) so that it can display the time when data collection on the pH level of the waste. The tool that is designed has an error percentage of the pH meter manufacturer of 0.4969%. By using this tool the authors conclude with 0.4 grams of lime (CaO) on the prototype or 480 kg in real conditions with a ponds area of 600 m3 can reduce the voltage output on the ph sensor from 3.25 V to 2.56 V so that the pH value increases. from 2.73 to 7.61 in pond 4 or dump ponds.
