Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to describe the results of the learning of writing skills in German essay semester II semester students of the German Language Study Program FBS UNM through Flashcard media. This research is a classroom action research using the John Elliot model which consists of two cycles. Flashcard learning media is media that consists of several images that are arranged and form a story. Flashcard media can train and sharpen the imagination of students who then poured in written form, while the material in this learning is Essen und Trinken. The subject of this research is the second semester students of the German Language Education Study Program FBS UNM. Data collection is done through several procedures, namely observation and tests. The results showed that learning by applying Flashcard media can create a more effective and efficient teaching and learning process, helping understanding and increasing students' imagination and motivation in writing a German essay, besides that students are also more active and enthusiastic.

Abstract

Abstract. Correlation between Vocabulary Mastery with listening ability in German language Class XI students SMAN 13 Bone. Thesis. Faculty of Languages and Literature. State University of Makassar.This study aims to obtain data and information about the relationship between vocabulary mastery and te ability to listen to German in class XI language at SMA 13 Bone.This research is descriptive research.The population of this study was all studens of class XI Languages totaling one Class with 28 students. The sample of this study was 28 students of class XI language selected through total sampling techniques.Research data was collected through a written test, and analyzed using product moment correlation.The results of this study indicate that there is a significant link between mastery of vocabulary with the listening ability of German language class XI student SMA Negeri 13 Bone Rh = (0.574) >Rt = (0.374) with a significant level of 5%.

Abstract

Abstract. This research is quasy experiment , two group pretest - posttest design that aims to determine the effectiveness using the language laboratory learning listening skills in German language students , German Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature, Makassar State University. The population in this study were students on the second semester, academic year 2015, German language education students, totaling 22 people , and the sample used in this study is total sample . Hypothesis testing using t- test. Analysis using t-test, tcount = 2.42 while t tabel= 2.086 t count ≥ t table (2.42 ≥ 2.086 ) . So, H0 stating that use of the language laboratory is not effective in listening skills German student education is rejected. Consequently H1 which states that the use of effective language laboratory in the listening skills of students in the education department of the German language is accepted. The results of this study can be concluded that teaching by using a language laboratory can be used as a medium of learning to improve listening skills of students in the German language.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSlow Deep Brathing merupakan metode gabungan dari napas lambat dan napas dalam yang dapat membuat relaksasi meningkat, dan merupakan bentuk terapi yang dapat digunakan untuk mendampingi terapi konvensional (medis). Tujuan dari studi literatur ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi rekomendasi pengaruh Slow Deep Breathing (SDB) terhadap kadar gula darah pada penderita DM tipe 2. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan studi pustaka, dengan cara menelusuri hasil publikasi ilmiah dalam rentang waktu tahun 2015-2020 dengan memakai google scholar yang sesuai dengan kriteria hasil yang ditentukan. Hasil studi literatur dari ke-7 jurnal yang di dapatkan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh Slow Deep Breathing terhadap penurunan kadar gula di dalam darah setelah dilakukan ≥ 10 menit selama 2x sehari dan dapat dilakukan ≤ 10 menit tetapi dikombinasikan dengan terapi Progresive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) atau dengan terapi murottal surah Ar-Rahman.Kata Kunci : Kadar gula darah, Diabetes Melitus, Slow Deep BreathingABSTRACTSlow Deep Brathing is combined method of slow breath and deep breath that can make relaxation increase, and is a form of therapy used to accompany therapy conventional (medical). The purpose of this literature study is to identify recommendations for the influence of Slow Deep Breathing (SDB) on blood sugar levels in people with DM Type 2. Data collection is done by using library studies, by searching for the results of scientific publications in the period 2015-2020 by using google scholar that matches the criteria of the results specified. The results of the literature study from the 7 journals obtained, can be concluded that there is an influence of Slow Deep Breathing on the decrease in sugar levels in the blood after ≥ 10 minutes for 2x a day and can be done ≤ 10 minutes but combined with therapy Progresive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) or with therapy murottal surah Ar-Rahman.Keywords: Blood Sugar Levels, Diabetes Mellitus, Slow Deep Breathing

Abstract

Abstract. The study is a quasi experiment using the two-way ANAVA test which aims to obtain data on the influence of cooperative learning and learning styles on German writing skills. The experimental method used was a 2x2 factorial design. The sample of the study was 20 students of German Education Study Program batch 2019 of Class A. The results of this study reveal that (1) the results of the two-way ANAVA test obtained the value of fcount (0.049) < ftabel (4.45) at the significant level α = 0, 05, so there is an influence of cooperative learning on German writing skills of students of German Language Education Study Program at FBS UNM, (2) the results of the two-way ANAVA test obtained the value of fcount (0.049) < ftable (4.45) at a significant level of α = 0.05, so there is an influence of learning style on German writing skills of students of German Language Education Study Program at FBS UNM, and (3) the results of the two-way ANAVA test obtained the value of interaction fcount (I) = 3.95 < ftabel = 4.45 at the significant level α = 0.05. Therefore, the conclusion of the study is there is an interaction between cooperative learning and learning styles on German writing skills of students of German Language Education Study Program at FBS UNM

Abstract

Abstract. This research is a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design study which aims to determine the effectiveness of the picture and picture cooperative learning model in the mastery of Mandarin vocabulary for seventh grade students of SMP Frater Makassar. The independent variable in this study is the effectiveness of the picture and picture type of cooperative learning model, while the dependent variable in this study is the mastery of Mandarin vocabulary. The population in this study were students of class VII SMP Frater Makassar with a total of eight classes with a total of 250 students. The research sample is random sample (random sampling). Of the eight classes, VII A was selected as the experimental class and VII B as the control class, with 30 students each. The data from this research were obtained by providing a written pre-test and post-test with the material "Introduction". The result of t-test calculation at the significant level of 0.05 obtained the value of tcount = 6.22, which is greater than ttable 2.002, so it can be concluded that the picture and picture type of cooperative learning model is effective in mastering Mandarin vocabulary in class VII students of SMP Frater Makassar. The application of the picture and picture type of cooperative learning model can improve the learning of Chinese vocabulary in students, because this model is an educational model that makes pictures as a medium in the learning process so that it can attract students' attention and interest in mastering Mandarin vocabulary.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive quantitative research which aims to determine the skill level of students' personal letter writing. The sample of this research is the 12th grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Watansoppeng is 20 students and the sample is total sampling. The data in this research were students of class XII Language SMA Negeri 1 Watansoppeng. The research data were obtained through a personal letter writing skill test and the data were analyzed using the percentage technique. The result of this research that the students' personal letter writing skills is in the sufficient category (71.45%) and the results of the questionnaire analysis show at percentage of  18 students (90%) like to write German and it is also supported by external factors where 19 students (95%)stated that the teacher always provides gives excerise about German writing skills while the inhibiting factor in students' personal letter writing skills comes from internal factors which is 14 students (70%) struggling in composing German sentences.

Abstract

The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this research is to describing theme, characters, plor, setting, message, and point of view in the short story “Der Tänzer Malige” by Johannes Bobrowski. The data in this study were obtained from reading the short story “Der Tänzer Malige” by Johannes Bobrowski. Data collection using library techniques, which are in the from of reading and notes technique on the object of research. The results of this study are as follws, a description of the theme elements: soldiers, character elements: main characters and extras, plot elements: mixed plot, background elements: place setting (village and army barracks) and time setting (August 1939 at the end of the season. Heat), the element of mandate: a high social  spirit, the element of perspective: the third person point of view (Er).the interrelationship between the intrinsic elements of the short story, where the theme, character, plot, space and time setting, mandate, and point of view, shows a structure that influences one another. These elements cannot be separated from one another.
