Abstract

The purpose of the study is described about tourism awareness and learning of souvenir merchants. The research approach used is qualitative. The subject is souvenir merchant which determined by the government. Data collection techniques used were observations and conducted interviews with merchants souvenir. Interviews were conducted by the people who were around them. Especially, who knew their participation for advancing the tourism area. The research findings are: (1) the description about tourism awareness of souvenir merchant, a part of them were giving the suggestion to increase the security in tourist area, (2) a small number of them was participated in maintaining the cleanliness facilities, maintaining the orderliness, cleanliness of the tourist area as a market, (3) a small number of them, less on serving the customers well, and less pacakaged product, (4) Just a little program available to learn the tourism awareness of them conducted by the government.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh tingginya keaktifan serta tingginya prestasi yang di raih oleh SMA Adabiah 1 Padang. Perihal ini diduga sebab pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang dilaksanakan oleh pihak sekolah semakin terselenggara dengan baik. penelitian ini punya tujuan guna mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di bidang pramuka di SMA Adabiah 1 padang. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis metode studi kasus, yang mana pemahaman serta prilaku manusia berdasarkan opini manusia tersebut. Sumber data pada penelitian ini yaknipelatih, guru, dan anggota pramuka. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai yakni observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Sementara, teknik penjaringan sumber data dilaksanakan dengan memakai teknik snowball sampling. Analisis data kualitatif yang dipakai ialah reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data yang dipakai yakni perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan serta triangulasi. Hasil analisis data diketahui bahwasanyapelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka yang berjalan sangat baik, yang melibatkan semua pelatih, anggota pramuka dan guru-guru pembimbing. Materi dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka sesuai dengan apa yang dibutuhkan oleh anggota pramuka, materi yang sangat mudah dipahami dan diiringi dengan prakterk. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler ini terdiri dari metode cermah, metode tanya jawab dan diskusi, dan juga metode belajar sambil bermain. Evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka melibatkan antara pelatih dan anggota pramuka, pelatih menggunakan penilaian diagnostik, penilaian formatif di kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka. peneliti menyarankan supaya pelatih bisa mengembangkan dan menggunakan materi, metode serta evaluasi yang baik dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka supaya anggota dapat lebih menguasai segala hal dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka selaras dengan tujuan yang hendak dicapai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pelaksanaan kegiatan penyuluhan budidaya ikan air tawar oleh Kelompok Tani Sejiwa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah metode random sampling. Populasinya berjumlah 40 orang, sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan adalah rumus persentase. Alat pengumpulan data adalah angket. Temuan dalam penelitian terlihat bahwa (1) strategi penyuluhan terhadap budidaya ikan air tawar oleh kelompok tani sejiwa di Jorong VI Sorik tergolong baik, (2) metode penyuluhan budidaya ikan air tawar oleh kelompok tani sejiwa di Jorong VI Sorik sudah dilakukan dengan baik, (3) evaluasi penyuluhan budidaya ikan air tawar oleh kelompok tani sejiwa di Jorong VI Sorik tergolong baik. Disarankan agar ketua dan anggota kelompok yang melakukan Kegiatan Budidaya Ikan Air Tawar untuk memasarkan hasil produksi di daerah lain, sehingga hasil yang didapat anggota kelompok lebih maksimal.Kata Kunci: Penyuluhan, Budidaya Ikan, Kelompok Tani

Abstract

One of the success of the Early Childhood Education Institution in society is based on the teacher’s factor. The problem facing by the Early Childhood Education Institution in the sub-district of Koto Tangah is the lack of the creativity of the teachers to use modern media that will motivate children to play while learning. Until now, Early Childhood Education teachers still use traditional media in the teaching and learning process, when it looks outdated and less able to motivate children in learning. This training aims to help the teachers to be creative Early Childhood Education’s teachers in making an animation learning media Web-based. Through the training of animation learning media Web-based, the teachers can improve their ability in applying various media. Skill training method  in making an animation media-based uses; (1) speech method is used to deliver the material theoretically about the concept of Early Childhood Education and the learning characteristics, (2) discussion method is used by the  Early Childhood Education’s teachers to discuss about how to make an animation media web-based, (3) experiment/ practice method  is used to train the Early Childhood Education’s teachers in having an ability in making an animation media, each teacher tries to create an animation media web-based directly. The subject of this research is the 21 teachers, taken from each delegation of the Early Childhood Education Institution in Koto Tangah, Padang. The result of this research for the community can be described: (1) Early Childhood Education’s teachers comprehend characteristics and learning strategies for early childhood, (2) some of them have already skilled, creative in creating web-based animation learning media. It is suggested to the school to always motivate and facilitate the Early Childhood Education’s teachers in creating a good learning media following the advancement of science and technology. The Early Childhood Education’s teachers are expected to have continuous training to improve their creativity in creating a good and varies learning media.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest of entrepreneurship of alumni of embroidery training at Lembaga Kursus Pelatihan (LKP) Muslimah Group of Solok City. This is allegedly due to lack of internal locus of control of embroidery alumni training. The purpose of this study is to describe (1) internal locus of control of embroidery alumni training, (2) interest in entrepreneurship of embroidery training alumni, and (3) relationship between internal locus of control with interest in entrepreneurship of embroidery training alumni. This type of research is correlational quantitative research. The population in this study amounted to 60 people and a sample of 30 people. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques in this study in the form of questionnaires, while data collection tools using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentage and product moment. The result of research shows that: (1) Locus of internal control of embroidery alumni is still low, (2) Interest in entrepreneurship of alumni of low embroidery training, and (3) There is a significant relationship between internal locus of control with entrepreneurship interest alumni embroidery training in LKP Muslimah Solok City Group.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the role of Pendidikan Kesetaraan Kejar Paket (A, B, and C) in completing the 9-year compulsory education. However, in the implementation of the Kejar Paket there are still many problems faced. The research objective was to describe the difficulty of implementing Kejar Paket in North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and South Sumatra. Expost facto descriptive research type. The population of the study was that all subjects involved in the Kejar Paket were study residents, tutors, managers in three research locations. Samples were taken purposively for each study location. Data collection techniques are interviews, and the tools are interview guidelines. Data is processed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The research findings illustrate the low interest in learning as seen in the presence of learning citizens. Some tutors are recruited from Strata I and graduated from high school, so the learning approach is felt to be incompatible with learning in education outside school. Facilities and infrastructure used to use what is available at the venue for the activities. Some managers have not been so serious in managing learning activities. Learning materials for learning citizens are often too late for the study schedule, so tutors find it difficult to provide material to the learning community. Funding for learning activities is felt to be lacking. The standard of assessment to the learning community is felt to be very high, while the material provided has not supported the achievement of the expected results.

Abstract

The writing of this article is motivated by the author's direct experience as the leader of the community service team at Padang State University, in various locations and places of service, including in the Sungai Buluh Timur community. The problems that have arisen so far are the low motivation of the community to participate in learning, especially regarding learning materials related to theory. This is seen from the arrival of those who are often late, lacking focus in learning, wanting to go home quickly. The author suspects, this happens because the community still does not feel that learning is carried out as a necessity. The purpose of this paper is in order to describe the nature of the needs and learning needs of adults, how adults learn, and also stated things that need to be done so that learning in society can be realized as a need. It is hoped that this paper can be used as input for practitioners engaged in community development, have awareness and insight in conducting learning activities so that the community is able to see their learning needs and at the same time be able to help the community to get out of the life problems they face.Keywords: Learning Motivations, Learning Needs

Abstract

This community service was because many homemakers had much free time, but they did not yet have productive activities that could help adding the family income. Therefore, they were put in a program and trained to sew bajukurung. The aim was to have the women skillfully so that they were motivated to work hard and eager to open their own sewing business. The participants of the program were 17 homemakers living at Parupuk Raya Air Tawar Barat. The methods used in the program were: a) counseling; it was to prepare the participants to have a motivation, passion and characters, b) experiment; used to train the participants to be skillful in sewing bajukurung, begin with the measurement, cutting, and then sewing. The outcomes of the programs were having the participants informed and trained, the instructors helped them and showed them ways to sew. The training had been conducted. The participants could do measurement; they could draft the patterns, cut the cloth and sew it to be bajukurung.Keywords: Science and Technologi, Homemakers, Society Learning Center

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keberhasilan PAUD Melati Pepaya dalam melaksanakan program di lembaganya yang terlihat dari prestasi yang diraih anak di setiap perlombaan. PAUD tersebut memiliki berbagai keunggulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pengelolaan PAUD Melati Pepaya di Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang sehingga memunculkan siswa yang berprestasi. Pengelolaan yang dimaksud, dilihat dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasi peneliti sebanyak 38 orang. Sampel terpilih 20 orang dijadikan responden. Jenis data penelitian tentang profil keberhasilan PAUD. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, alat yang digunakan kuesioner, dan teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase. Temuan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa deskripsi profil PAUD Melati Pepaya Kecamatan Kuranji, dari aspek (1) Perencanaan tergolong baik, (2) Pelaksanaan tergolong baik, dan (3) Evaluasi tergolong baik. Dapat disarankan kepada pengelola PAUD agar terus memberikan dukungan dan bimbingan pada pendidik untuk lebih memaksimalkan kompetensi yang dimiliki pendidik khususnya dalam membuat perencanaan pembelajaran, PAUD Tunas Bangsa untuk mempertahankan dan lebih meningkatkan pelayanan pada pendidikan dan perkembangan yang optimal bagi anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh berbagai keunggulan yang dimiliki oleh QLC Andalas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran penggunaan metode pembelajaran halaqah di Qur’an Learning Centre (QLC) Andalas Padang mulai dari persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan metode pembelajaran halaqah. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasi peneliti sebanyak 64 orang. Sampel terpilih 32 orang dijadikan responden. Jenis data penelitian tentang gambaran penggunaan metode pembelajaran. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, alat yang digunakan kuesioner, dan teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase. Temuan pada penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa gambaran penggunaan metode kegiatan pembelajaran halaqah di Qur’an Learning Centre (QLC) Andalas, dari aspek (1) Persiapan tergolong baik, (2) Pelaksanaan tergolong baik, dan (3) Evaluasi tergolong baik.
