Abstract

Bina Darma University is one of the higher education institutions in South Sumatra Province. Bina Darma University has made a real contribution in the world of Education, especially in the South Sumatra Province. To ensure the smooth running of the academic routine, Bina Darma University has a special directorate, namely The Directorate of Systems and Information Technology (DSTI). The directorate's main task is to ensure the availability of IT services to support academic activities. One of the services currently available is a mobile-based academic information system (UBD on your hand). Where this service is a development service from an existing web-based academic information system. But to ensure that the service remains well-established, it is necessary to know how the user's perspective on an IT service such as the UBD application on your hand. To find out how far the user is using usability techniques using the system usability scale approach as a measurement tool. The measurement results obtained an average value of 87.2 indicating that the mobile-based academic information system (UBD on your hand) was viewed from an adjective rating including excellence category, seen from the grade scale including group B, and in terms of acceptability including acceptable groups. Thus, the category can be accepted by the user and feasible to use without repairs.

Abstract

One computer-based technology to support agriculture and plantation area planning is a Geographic Information System (GIS) where the system is able to create a model which gives an overview, description and estimate of a factual conditions. Geographical potential of a region is very important for the development of the region, there are several potential areas, namely agriculture, and plantation, This potential will grow annually in accordance with the development on the local area, with the development of this region will generate the competitiveness of each respective region / areas in order to support the realization of development. Potential agricultural areas and plantation Muara Enim district will develop well managed properly, so it will contribute to regional economic revenue increases. To be able to know information comparison Muara Enim regency administration area required a geographic information system to determine the spread of plantations and agricultural potential that can be realized through the technology of web-based geographic information system.Keyword: Information Systems Geogrfis, plantation and agriculture, ArcGIS

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan website dengan php yang dilakukan pada SMP Negeri 27 Palembang dikarenakan pada SMP tersebut dirasa belum optimal dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi yang ada oleh sebab itu maka pengabdian ini dilakukan. Adapun peserta dalam pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru SMP Negeri 27 Palembang. kegiatan dalam pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pembuatan Website dengan menggunakan PHP kepada para siswa dan siswi di SMP Negeri 27 Palembang. Adapaun manfaat dari pelatihan ini adalah diharapkan dapatmeningkatkan kemampuan para siswa SMPN 27 Palembang  dalam membuat database dengan Xampp sebagai server, Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para guru SMP Negeri 27 Palembang tentang bagaimana cara memanfaatkan PHPMyAdmin dalam memanajemen Sistem Database.Pentingnya pelatihan ini bagi SMP Negeri 27 Palembang karena dengan melihat perkembangan zaman tentang teknologi yang canggih oleh sebab itu para tenaga pendidik (guru) dituntut untuk dapat menggunakan teknologi tersebut agar tidak ketinggalan dan memperoleh wawasan baru dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi .Kata kunci :Pelatihan, Web, PHP

Abstract

Pengembangan sebuah aplikasi merupakan inovasi untuk menyelesaikan masalah. Untuk melakukan pengembangan aplikasi terdapat berbagai teknik pengembangan. pengembangan aplikasi berbasis web dan pengembangan aplikasi berbasis mobile memiliki perlakuan yang berbeda. Namun yang paling penting dari proses pengembangan aplikasi adalah pemodelan informasi aplikasi itu sendiri. karena dengan adanya pemodelan proses pengembangan akan lebih terarah dan sistematis. Pemodelan memiliki kemapuan menggambarkan cetak biru dari aplikasi yang akan dikembangkan. Untuk itu pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pemodelan aplikasi menggunakan unified modeling language. Pemodelan dilakukan guna mempermudah proses pengembangan dengan kasus aplikasi booking tiket. Penggunaan unified modeling language dalam melakukan pemodelan juga disebabkan notasi unified modeling language memiliki kemampuan dalam menggambarkan berbagai proses dalam sebuah aplikasi yang dikembangkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa pemodelan aplikasi dengan unified modeling language yang digambarkan dalam tiga bentuk notasi yaitu structure diagram yang digambarkan dalam bentuk class diagram, communication diagram yang digambarkan dalam bentuk activity diagram dan behavior diagram yang digambarkan dalam bentuk use case diagram. Pemodelan aplikasi juga diimplementasikan dalam bentuk prototype aplikasi dengan fitur pemesanan tiket, proses konfirmasi, jadwal keberangkatan serta pengelolaan data terkait dengan proses pemesanan tiket. The development of an application is an innovation to solve problems. To develop applications, there are various development techniques. Web-based application development and mobile-based application development have different treatments. However, the most important part of the application development process is modeling the application information itself. because with the modeling the development process will be more directed and systematic. Modeling can describe the blueprint of the application to be developed. For this reason, this research will conduct application modeling using the unified modeling language. Modeling is done in order to simplify the development process with the ticket booking application case. The use of unified modeling language in modeling is also due to the notation that unified modeling language can describe various processes in a developed application. The results of this study are in the form of application modeling with a unified modeling language which is depicted in three notation forms, namely a structure diagram depicted in the form of a class diagram, a communication diagram depicted in the form of an activity diagram and a behavior diagram depicted in the form of a use case diagram. Application modeling is also implemented in the form of application prototypes with ticket booking features, confirmation processes, departure schedules and data management related to the ticket booking process

Abstract

School is institution that provide educational services to the community formed by the government in the form of organizational means to educate the nation's life. To guarantee the implementation of good education and in accordance with regulations set by the government, each school or school educational institution must follow accreditation. The spread of school locations certainly makes it difficult to access for assessors when they are going to do an accreditation assessment. In addition, other constraints experienced by the unavailability of school location information can be used as a reference for assessors in the accreditation assessment process. Under these conditions, it will certainly cause problems or obstacles in the accreditation process such as (1) the accreditation assessment process is not on schedule, (2) inaccurate assessment of the schedule, and (3) the quality of the accreditation assessment itself. Based on these conditions, in this study the development of a school mapping geographic information system can be used as a means of information for assessors in conducting accreditation assessments. the results of research that has been done show that geographic information systems can provide information on the distribution of schools both middle and upper levels. The information system can also function properly based on test results

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are part of the internal learning process of schools as an effort to channel talent as a driver of fulfillment and student development. Among the extracurricular activities at school are (1) scouts, (2) Paskibraka, (3) Red Cross, (4) School security forces, (5) Nature lovers, (6) School health, (7) Scientific Youth, (7) 8) Sports, and (9) Arts. The choice of extracurricular interests is an important factor for students. The right choice will have an impact on improving the ability and skills of students themselves. For this reason, in this study the SMART method was implemented that could assist students in selecting extracurricular activities that they would like to do. The implementation of the SMART method is carried out by means of or through decision support information systems. The decision support information system development is using the waterfall method which has five stages, namely communication, planning, modeling, construction and deployment. The results of the development show that the resulting information system can run the SMART method correctly starting from charging the value of interest, weighting, utility, and gritting. These conditions can also be seen from the results of tests that show all components can be accepted or functionaly.

Abstract

System Usability Scale (SUS) is a usability testing technique for a simple system using a Likert scale. Testing and usability analysis assess user satisfaction with the system or web. So, the purpose of this service activity is to train website usability testing with SUS, using the Dukcapil website as a test object. Dukcapil's website will be analyzed for its usability level as a real case for direct practice. In SUS, ten statements are used as parameters in assessing the usability of a website. This activity was attended by 20 people, including Bina Darma University students, vocational students, and IT staff from the Dukcapil Palembang City. The usability analysis of this website aims to assess how well user interaction with the website is going. Then, the results of this assessment and study produce an input as a reference for website development to be more optimal in the future. In testing the usefulness of the Dukcapil website in this PKM activity, it can be seen that the SUS score is at a score of 56.125, with the category Acceptable. Therefore, it shows that the Dukcapil website is ranked F, with a "Good" rating category. The training results show that the Dukcapil website is still very rarely accessed by users. Because it provides information lacking in updates, the features used are still in beta version (still in the testing phase). Users or participants still do not understand how to use it. In addition, this activity provides participants with an understanding of the website usability test using the SUS model
